First time here. Tried the AYCE on a late Wednesday afternoon. Definitely really good value, will get a lot of food if you can eat! The sauce is there, but I am guessing they don't soak in sauce? Could get more flavor that way. Also was a little disappointed with as much dead crawfish, but since it's ayce that's not as huge an issue. Nice clean restaurant with a lot of potential. read more

As a fairly new restaurant with only a few (and conflicting) reviews, we weren't sure what to expect from Supreme Boil. But, we wanted to find out what it was like for ourselves, so we decided to pay them a visit for a birthday dinner. The dining area is open and large enough to accommodate lots of diners, although on a weekday evening we practically had the whole place to ourselves. Speaking of being a weekday evening, cocktails were half price for happy hour, which meant the first order of business was getting a margarita. Now it may not have been the best one I've ever had, but it certainly was one of the strongest! I definitely got my money's worth there. They have a $25 appetizer and entree combo that seemed like a good deal as well, so I decided to go that route. I chose hush puppies and jambalaya from a list of about half a dozen dishes. The hush puppies were crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and all around tasty. The jambalaya was hearty and well seasoned. I don't think I have ever had one with as much shrimp, sausage and chicken either. Again, it was well worth the price. One of my friends, who also went with the combo, got the house salad as an appetizer and it was big enough to be a meal in itself. In fact, everyone was impressed with the size of their meals. We were equally impressed with the quality and flavor. My youngest son is notoriously picky, and even he loved the food. Our server was as sweet as she could be. She actually didn't know we were there to celebrate a birthday, so I can only assume that she's always that nice. It was such a great experience overall that we are already looking forward to returning and trying more of their dishes. read more

This place is so delicious! We have been twice now and it has quickly become a favorite! The seafood boil was well seasoned and very good. The catfish is huge and our son is still talking about how much he enjoyed it. The oysters were some of the biggest I've ever had, and so fresh! The fried alligator is some of the best we have had. The bread pudding.. you have to try the bread pudding, it is mouth watering! Charlotte was our waitress both times, she remembered us and is very nice, attentive and great at her job! Last thing I have to rave about is the music, whoever is picking the playlists is awesome! A wide range of great music. We love this place! read more

Worst Cajun meal I have ever had. Gumbo was basically rice with some chopped ingredients in brown water. Crawfish smelled bad and once you pulled off head grayish foul smelling fluid came out. This was not just one occasional crawfish but almost every one. Even had a bit of ammonia smell. Server took it away and later came back to say they confirmed it smelled bad. Said they fixed the problem but brought out more. 2nd time the crawfish was so tough like overcooked frozen crawfish. Owners have no business opening a Cajun style restaurant if you cannot even source fresh crawfish during crawfish season and cooking it properly. Highly recommend you don't waste your money here. read more

Went on a late afternoon, and we were the only table filled (between lunch and dinner/happy hour times). Blackened chicken po'boy, lunch special boil with shrimp and potatoes, both perfectly seasoned. Hush puppies were on the small side but crispy, tender inside, and delicately spiced. Just fabulous. The ambiance was nice and recently renovated, though the tables and windows could have used a bit more cleaning. The sweet tea was very sweet--almost like they used a whole bag of sugar. Next time, I'll mix half sweet and half unsweetened. We ordered two butter garlic shrimp and one Cajun shrimp (see receipt), and enjoyed both. They came out in bags, steaming hot and flavorful. Overall, it was a good experience. If I had my way, I'd love to see these tasty shrimp served up in tacos--but I digress. Our server was polite, helpful, and attentive. He shared his favorite dish and later helped us bag everything to-go. Afterwards, you can grab ice cream next door at Marble Slab, or if you're still hungry, Jimmy John's and Sprouts are nearby. Would I eat here again? Sure. The food was hot, tasty, and satisfying. It did sting the pocketbook a little, but hey--it's seafood in North Texas. Not exactly oceanfront dining. I've heard other Supreme Boil locations are cheaper, which might make sense if Gator Investments (the landlord out of Florida) is charging steep rent here. It's the same story that pushed Alma's awesome Mexican food around the corner out of business. One last note--my wife accidentally left her purse behind, and the staff kept it safe for her until we came back. We were very grateful for their honesty. I realize prices these days are high everywhere but the prices here are really over the top. I'm talking expensive steakhouse type prices for boiled food served in a bag? The business certainly has no control over supply prices and food costs but I'm afraid their doors won't stay open long at these prices. Once were we seated and saw the prices we went the budget route, still spent $120 (no alcohol on our bill) and the food was below average with no taste at all...just boiled to oblivion on this night. read more

We ordered crawfish étouffée and a catfish basket to go. The étouffée was soup and lacked flavor. The crawfish were gray and un appealing. The catfish breading was good but the fish itself tasted a little off. They did get the hush puppies right but the rest of the meal was crap. Won't be ordering again. read more

What a HUGE disappointment! I had gone on numerous facebook review pages, solicited insight from members AND did YELP! Even the pics on YELP showing white linen-type tablecloths is a hoax! We don't eat out UNLESS a restaurant has at least 4 stars....so, it is obvious that this place is having its friends, family members and probably employees...do outrageous incorrect positive reviews on them,...because there is NO way this place is even a one star! The food was hugely sub par! The place was dirty....and even tho we were THEE ONLY people eating there....we were sat at mismatching tables that were wobbly and a joke. What a shame, too...as it was my birthday!!!! We should have turned around and walked out when we had the chance.....but, had several hungry children with us. After this experience, reading the reviews and trusting the system.....I am going to be MUCH more weary about the process. I may have to up my standards to places that only have 4.5 star ratings. As it is now painfully obvious that some places are definitely "padding" the star system and reviews! (Ps....manager/business owner....don't bother sending me an apology response....or offering a gift card to "try it again". I wanted so much to love this restaurant because of the close proximity to where I live and I love seafood. Shrimp Cocktail was above average, both in size and taste. Crawfish gumbo was just okay. The Catfish Po' Boy was a disappointment. It had a chemical taste, somewhat like pond water. I ate a couple of bites but decided it got worse with each bite. The French fries were very good. Food was served at the perfect temperature. The server was very friendly, and we felt welcome. When I asked for the source of the catfish, she advised that it was farm raised in Alabama. She apologized but didn't make any adjustments/offers to the bill to make it right. The prices were ok for what we had, but the prices of the boil offers were much higher than I would have paid. The restaurant was nice and clean and didn't smell like a fish market. I think they have been open only a short while. I won't be returning! read more

Best seafood in Denton County! Came for family dinner, split multiple crab and shrimp boils. Food and service were both excellent, will definitely be back. read more

First time to visit there and we were very impressed. Our server was very pleasant and prompt. Great selection of seafood to choose from. We each had a shrimp, corn and potato boil. Very flavorful and spicy (and messy). Gloves and bibs are provided to keep you clean. Highly recommended. We will be back. read more

The boil with Cajun garlic was awesome. We will be getting it again. The sausage, potato's and corn were a great addition to the seafood.
