Unfortunately, the wine nothing to write home about. However, the Riesling was good. This was our first winery stop of the day. We were excited to try out the Long Island wineries. I have no complaints about the service. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we did not. There was only one other party, likely a bachelorette party, sitting at a table. I thought that was odd I did not like that the wine tastings were poured in plastic cups and labeled on a paper plate. It felt very cheap.

My boyfriend and I have recently gotten into wine. My parents treated us to Duck Walk for the afternoon. We each had a sampling and each wine was quite delicious! The vineyard itself is nice and clean and staff is friendly. You are able to bring your own food/snacks. They do have cheese and crackers for sale if you don't bring your own or if you get hungry. There's indoor and outdoor seating available. There was also live music which was great! Definitely a great spot for an afternoon out!

Duck Walk Vineyards is a craft winery that opened in Water Mill, New York in 1994. It was founded by Dr. Herodotus "Dan" Damianos and his son Alexander. The elder Damianos was a medical doctor who was considered one of the pioneers of the Long Island wine industry. He purchased 36 acres of land in the North Fork in 1979. The following year he planted his first Chardonnay vines and named the winery Pindar Vineyards after his youngest son. Today the North Fork is home to more than 40 wineries and 3,000 acres of planted vineyards. Some of the grape varietals found in the area include Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Franc. Pindar is now the largest winery in Long Island, producing nearly 60,000 cases of wine per year. In the mid '90s, Damianos acquired a duck farm in the Hamptons and turned it into a winery dubbed "Duck Walk". A second Duck Walk location, surrounded by 30 beautiful acres of Sauvignon Blanc grapes, opened in the North Fork in 2007. Damianos passed away in 2014. His 600 acres of vineyard property are still maintained by his children and grandchildren. My wife and I visited the North Fork location of Duck Walk Vineyards in October 2018. We were celebrating our first wedding anniversary on Long Island with a private limousine tour of the North Fork Wine Trail. Duck Walk was our third stop of the day. The tasting room and the grounds were both beautiful! We sampled some wines that included their Cabernet Sauvignon and Rosé. We had fun exploring the grounds afterwards. Everything was delicious and we purchased a couple of bottles to take home, including their Blueberry Port. Out of the three wineries we visited that day, Duck Walk was our favorite! We really enjoyed our experience at Duck Walk and hope to return in the future!

Visited duck walk vineyards for a wedding this past weekend and it was absolutely beautiful. We are from out of town and haven't been to Long Island before. Really loved the vineyard and vibe it created for our friends!

Sad this place has three stars but I get it. When you walk into the tasting room- you need music. It's quiet, I get it but needs something. We had a scheduled tasting and what I loved most is how personalized you can make it! You get a plate and four drinks. My favorite was the rose and desert wines. I left it up to our server to pick after hearing what I liked and he nailed it!! They do have food that you can buy- which HIGHLY recommend. Then you can go outside if you want and find a spot to sit. On a nice day- GET THERE EARLY. There is seating with shade and most seats do have umbrellas. You can take photos between the vineyards. If you are lucky, live music, a good crowd, and dancing. Felt nice to feel normal again!

I'll be honest I'm more of a California Wine fan, but I will say their Southampton White was light and crisp and made for a perfect sip on a super hot day. The tasting room is large and airy with some tables that are perfect to enjoy lunch. There are also some tables outside with lovely views of the vineyard. A gazebo and L-O-V-E sign makes for the perfect photo opp. A nice spot to enjoy the calming views of the vines.

My husband and I decided to celebrate Valentine's Day with having dinner at the vineyard. The dinner was truly amazing. I loved that it was prefixed and it included wine with every course. The ingredients were fresh and full of flavor. We enjoyed listening to one of the owners go over with each course why they selected to pair the wine they chose. The wine was delicious as well, which really brought out the flavors of the dishes. I applaud the chef and the staff because the food is something I'll talk about for years. The food was everything! We ended up taking the blueberry port home. I cannot wait to attend another dinner event here again. Truly a great vineyard!

Went here on a Sunday afternoon and it was pretty empty. The wine tastings are personalized - you can select 4 from a menu of whites, reds, rosés, and dessert wines for $13. There is seating outdoors that overlooks the vineyard. Bottles are available for purchase for about $20/bottle.

Just a quick disclosure of my review. I came he as part of a wine tour, which I would not recommend but that has nothing to do with Duck walk. So on to the meat and potatoes of this thing. Arriving at Duck Walk is beautiful. You step into what feels like a huge beautifully architect barn. Open huge trusses above your head with light wood accents and dark metal lighting It's truly breath taking. Walking into this not so packed, due to COVID regulations, barn, you are assigned a bar to go look through the menu and choose your wine tastings. Again I don't know if this is normal operation but due to COVID and being part of a winery tour here we are. All orders get written down on paper plates and re distributed when ready and you go outside onto the grass of this beautiful winery. Music plays through the tables with umbrella and through the coveted area. Plenty of room and seats for large and small parties alike. The live music is a wonderful accent to the delicious wines you are about to taste. There was well over 25 different types of wines. Ranging from white, red, blushes, dessert and more. The wine and the music hit spot. After about 90 minutes our driver was ready for us to leave but if I came back solo I could spend a few hours here alone.

My friends & I came here in celebration of my bachelorette party, during COVID not a lot u can do so wine tasting was a great idea. We arrived with our group, they won't let u processed if your whole party is not there.. once online u head inside they call u in by groups we got to sample 4-5 different wines. way to many for me to recall but they were all pretty decent , I liked that we were able to bring our own food really made the day better we had our basket with breads , cheeses ,etc .. we also purchased a bottle, a 2018 Riesling nice wine went well with our food. We got the Black truffle chips also soo good. They have a nice set up outside , social distancing in place & still plenty of room to sit & enjoy , the wines, food , music etc. it ended up being a nice day out so we enjoyed ourselves.

Beautiful time to spend during these pandemic days. Especially on a particularly nice day. No reservation required, it's got a super huge tasting room and an even bigger and more beautiful out door area for hanging out. Highly advise that you bring your own picnic food as they don't have an extensive snacking section to purchase from. And you might want to pack a blanket for sitting in the event when you get there its too packed to sit in the seats provided. 12$ for little cups of sampling - but I'm a light weight so sipping these and then buying a 20$ to share with friends was more than enough for me.

    Samples could be better presented

My wife spotted this rustic looking facility, so I turned in and immediately got a good feeling about it. The owner greeted us and made us feel entirely welcome. We sat down and looked at the tasting choices and had a fairly easy time filling up our dance card with 5 selections. We had the place to ourselves at first, and spent time getting to know Perry, a woman whose family has owned the operation since 1974. She said most of the buildings date back from the mid 1859s. Entertainment was also provided by 20 chickens (17 hens and 3 roosters). The wines were wonderful and lovingly explained by Perry. We left with a red and a white, and a feeling that this had been a very special hour.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful when it came to explaining the wines and guiding tastings. Everything felt organized and unhurried, which allowed us to really take our time and enjoy the experience. They were attentive when needed but also gave plenty of space, which added to the laid back vibe. The wine was pretty good overall. There was a nice variety available, and while not every wine stood out, several were enjoyable and well balanced. The quality matched the relaxed setting and made for a pleasant tasting. It is the kind of wine you can easily enjoy while sitting outside and taking in the scenery. Overall Old Field Vineyard offers good service, great ambience, and pretty good wine in a lovely setting. It may not be the most standout vineyard on the North Fork, but it is absolutely worth a visit if you are looking for a relaxing and enjoyable wine tasting experience. A strong four star destination.

It's a shame because the grounds are beautiful, the staff that sat and served were very friendly. I was really looking forward to this visit. In email I was sent the menu, reservation policy, and a form to fill out with the option to pre order the mixed flight ($30 per person) or antipasto ahead of time. I had confirmed in written email that I had a group of 8 and I filled out the form for "number of guests at $30 per person" as 1. Everyone else in my group planned to order from the regular menu and do a couple of bottles for the table. When I arrived it was very disorganized and understaffed, with a big wait time to be seated and served. We were sitting for maybe a half hour before someone addressed us. When they did, they came out with 8 sets of the mixed flights! I said that I filled it out for 1 and that everyone else was ordering from the menu. So she went back to check with the manager, Julie. Before Julie even spoke I could feel a combative energy when approaching me. She said she "assumed" the 1 that I put for the mixed flight was "a typo" and couldn't respond to me as to why she didn't communicate the confusion. She said the group number applies to the number of flights. She said she can't just have everyone else "sitting around" and I assured her that everyone was getting something from the regular menu. She said that she never had a problem before and asked me if I even read the information that was sent to me. So basically if you do a group reservation, everyone is forced to do the mixed flight. Even if someone else wants the red flight which is not an option to pre order. She said we would need to order the mixed flights first to be able to order a bottle from the regular menu. No where did it say any of this ANYWHERE on this information sheet. I did in fact read it multiple times and had my group read it before making reservations. After going back and forth with me, she then says "you know what, do whatever you want to do so you can have a good day" very passive aggressively as if I offended her and walks away. Her tone was extremely condescending. My whole group was in shock and very uncomfortable. At this point we had been here for an hour and we were deciding what to do from here. The waitress came back and asked what we wanted to do and I said I wasn't sure because I am uncomfortable with how I was spoken to. She was very sweet and was understanding. She told us whatever we wanted to do if we wanted to stay, we can let her know what we want, which put us more at ease. I asked her for a couple of minutes and she said no problem just to grab her since she's all around. We couldn't find her after that and decided to leave. As a customer, I am appalled by the behavior of the manager. This was not professional or appropriate conduct. I feel for the staff who seem to be doing their best with the given situation.

Since we were a group of 7 and the offer only comes in a package for 2 or for 4, we bought two Groupons for the Wine Tasting Experience for four persons. The Wine Tasting Experience included a Boar's Head platter featuring uncured Genoa salami and mozzarella, and Wheat Thins crackers to share, wineglasses for each person to take home, and 5 wine tastings per person. When we arrived at Osprey's Dominion Vineyards, there were plenty of parking spots and we checked in at the Tasting Room. The staff member provided us with 8 wine tasting placemats so we could indicate which wine tastings we would like and briefly explained the different types of wine. We could choose from the red, white, reserve, and the dessert wine list. I chose mostly whites and 2 rosés. My favorite was the Semi-Dry Riesling, though the Gewurztraminer was a close second. There are plenty of tables in the Tasting Room with large windows and even more tables outside. Outside, there are some tables on the patio and even more tables on the great lawn with barbecue pits. Osprey's Dominion Vineyards allows guests to bring their own picnic lunches, which is wonderful. We had prepared some charcuterie, fruit, chips, and sandwiches. After we finished our wine tastings, I purchased a bottle of Semi-Dry Riesling 2018 and Malbec 2019 for us to share. Since we were Groupon customers, we received a 20% discount on the wine-bottle purchase. There is an even a 30% discount on a purchase of three bottles or more. My family took advantage the case offer for $119. Osprey's Dominion Vineyards was not busy on July 4th and we all had a great time at the vineyards. It was a beautiful day with not a single cloud in the sky. Staff were very friendly and carried out the case to our car. The Boar's Head platter was a little small for 2 people to share, so it was great that we could bring outside food. Osprey's Dominion Vineyards is very spacious with plenty of tables so it is great for big groups.

The setting is exactly what you're hoping for at a North Fork winery--plenty of outdoor space, beautiful vineyard views, and a relaxed atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a summer afternoon with friends. We shared one of the giant pretzels along with the stuffed grape leaves, both of which disappeared quickly. We also tried the wine frosés, which were cold, refreshing, and perfect for a hot day. They were a bit on the sweet side, though. One was just about right for me; I think a second would have been a little too much. The only reason I'm stopping at four stars instead of five is the staffing. We visited on a busy Saturday, and while everyone working was friendly and working hard, there simply weren't enough people to keep up with the crowd. That's on management, not the staff, who did a great job under the circumstances. One funny discovery: there was a local seafood truck from Bauman's parked on-site, but we didn't notice it until after we'd already polished off the pretzels and grape leaves. Next time. If you're exploring the North Fork wine trail with friends, Corey Creek is a fun stop and one I'd happily visit again. Just don't be surprised if service is a little slower during peak weekend hours.
