Went on a slightly rainy day but that didn't stop the great service and views of the beautiful vineyard. By far, this vineyard has the most thoughtful and thorough charcuterie board I've ever had, with great wines to go along with it!

Wonderful winery! Spacious outdoor space, kind and friendly staff and a great selection of wines. We got the lobster sliders and shrimp cocktail, which were delicious. The lobster sliders were plentiful and fresh and came with potato chips. I would definitely visit again.

Beautiful grounds, very nice tasting area. Great venue to sit outside on cool weather day. Live music played well. Service was not so friendly or pleasant. Simple wine order of two bottles was done incorrectly. Not the most hospitable employees we encountered. Grounds were beautiful, Wine fell a bit short.

Just Fabulous.... From the warm welcome as we pulled into the parking lot to the greeting from the staff. The venue is beautifully landscaper, open, airy with a great vibe. The music was terrific and the wines and food were delicious. Just a fabulous, enjoyable, relaxing day.

I really do enjoy this vineyard a lot. I have been here twice with my family. The vineyard is absolutely gorgeous and has beautiful seating arrangements around gas fire pits. We were in for a treat this time because there was live music playing on the background and the weather was perfect. The only downside of this place is their limited food menu. It would be great if they had more food options such as brick oven pizza or some sandwiches. We ordered their charcuterie board and oysters along with several bottles of red and white wine. The charcuterie board had a beautiful arrangement of cheeses, meats, nuts, jam and bread. The oysters were also very fresh. The Riesling white wine is my absolute favorite, it pairs very well with the oysters and cheese board. The service is always great, our server was very attentive and friendly. However, the only thing that annoyed me a bit was the fact that I had to ask him fix our bill twice. We had purchased 6 bottles of wine and were entitled to a discount and a free flight of wine. I did have to ask him to apply the discount even though it was clearly stated on the menu. Other than that, I will be returning with my family and making it a tradition.

We found a new must stop at Vineyard out east! It is laid-back elegance and really friendly staff. Very knowledgeable and one of the best Rieslings I have ever had. We will definitely be back and I'm so glad that they're open now. We had a wonderful time and were truly relaxed and happy when we left, just the reason we drive out there.

Great place to visit! Beautiful grounds, great new Cabernet franc and the service was outstanding!

Never stopped here before but can definitely say we will be back. I love the laid back friendly and welcoming vibe. The wines are phenomenal. Fire pits with Adirondack chairs with pillows and great music. We will definitely be back.

Went there today. Place was 25 percent full but they could not find us a table. Crazy

Good wines. Nice staff & always something fun going on. They give heavy pours...watch out you can get drunk quick if you're not careful.

Nice outdoor grounds but the wines are not as good as some of the other wineries in Long Island. Live music which is fun.

It's a shame because the grounds are beautiful, the staff that sat and served were very friendly. I was really looking forward to this visit. In email I was sent the menu, reservation policy, and a form to fill out with the option to pre order the mixed flight ($30 per person) or antipasto ahead of time. I had confirmed in written email that I had a group of 8 and I filled out the form for "number of guests at $30 per person" as 1. Everyone else in my group planned to order from the regular menu and do a couple of bottles for the table. When I arrived it was very disorganized and understaffed, with a big wait time to be seated and served. We were sitting for maybe a half hour before someone addressed us. When they did, they came out with 8 sets of the mixed flights! I said that I filled it out for 1 and that everyone else was ordering from the menu. So she went back to check with the manager, Julie. Before Julie even spoke I could feel a combative energy when approaching me. She said she "assumed" the 1 that I put for the mixed flight was "a typo" and couldn't respond to me as to why she didn't communicate the confusion. She said the group number applies to the number of flights. She said she can't just have everyone else "sitting around" and I assured her that everyone was getting something from the regular menu. She said that she never had a problem before and asked me if I even read the information that was sent to me. So basically if you do a group reservation, everyone is forced to do the mixed flight. Even if someone else wants the red flight which is not an option to pre order. She said we would need to order the mixed flights first to be able to order a bottle from the regular menu. No where did it say any of this ANYWHERE on this information sheet. I did in fact read it multiple times and had my group read it before making reservations. After going back and forth with me, she then says "you know what, do whatever you want to do so you can have a good day" very passive aggressively as if I offended her and walks away. Her tone was extremely condescending. My whole group was in shock and very uncomfortable. At this point we had been here for an hour and we were deciding what to do from here. The waitress came back and asked what we wanted to do and I said I wasn't sure because I am uncomfortable with how I was spoken to. She was very sweet and was understanding. She told us whatever we wanted to do if we wanted to stay, we can let her know what we want, which put us more at ease. I asked her for a couple of minutes and she said no problem just to grab her since she's all around. We couldn't find her after that and decided to leave. As a customer, I am appalled by the behavior of the manager. This was not professional or appropriate conduct. I feel for the staff who seem to be doing their best with the given situation.

IMO, that may just be the best (if less scenic/festive...) way to visit a winery!! No lines, no crowds, and TONS of attention/inside info from the knowledgeable bartender (orig. from Guatemala, wish I remembered her name!!) My brother, S.I.L. and I each ordered flights... So many great choices!! I'm a white/rose fan, and I definitely had plenty of options. We shared cheese and crackers, and learned a lot not only about the winery and its history, but about the whole region as well. I loved the "insider" info!! Though I grew up on Long Island, this was my first trip out this way, and Pindar was a great first spot to visit!! Hoping this will be my first visit of many out to this wonderful "neck of the woods!!" Cheers!!! ENJOY...
