    Fried ravioli
    Roxanne S.

I was really excited to try this place. I had read reviews that it was supposedly very authentic. I don't know. I walked in and it was very difficult to walk on their floors. My shoes were not gripping so be careful. For appetizer, we ordered the fried ravioli, which was good. It was stuffed with cheese and had a side of marinara sauce. The other item we ordered was mushroom stuffed with some type of seafood. It was very cold inside. It was covered with cheese on top and a nice sauce it was swimming in. For my lunch, I got pasta trio, which was three very small selections which honestly in the end just felt like it was all one thing because it was all squished together on one plate. It was just ok. My friend got the chicken piccata, which was a really huge dish. The rolls were probably my favorite. Very nice and buttery. I hate to say this, but I would not be back. It just didn't hit it for me. It didn't taste awful. I want to be clear about that. It just didn't do much for me to go back. The staff was very friendly.

Casual ambiance. Kind staff. We went during opening week, and they didn't anticipate the crowds so service was understandably slow with only two servers while it was super packed. They brought us tiramisu on the house because of this, which I appreciated. The seafood combo 2 was delicious and flavorful. Great value for the price, and I had leftovers to take home. Very glad to have this option in Helena

    Caesars salad and excellent rolls!

Holy Smokes!! My second visit here. Both meals were fantastic. Bert's comes close, and Olive's and Joe's are further behind in the pecking order. The owner/manager dude gave us an impressive history of their quality standards. The food matched what was said. Everything tasted "homemade". There was something unique in every dish. The Caesar dressing had a hint of sweetness, totally unexpected and delicious. You could taste the cream and real butter in the Alfredo sauce. We will be back!

Stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, and meatballs for appetizers for all very good. Meatballs were not too spicy and not too dense. Reasonably priced, server was very sweet, Food & sauces were tasty. We will be back.

Chicken Murphy very tasty! Only slightly spicy

Food was fairly decent for our first visit. Service left us wanting. It was prompt and everything came out as ordered but our waiter was just less than friendly...very matter of fact about everything. We'll definitely come back if they make it.

    Baked Tortellini

This was our 2nd visit in a week and again everything was delicious. This time we tried the meatballs, baked tortellini, shrimp scampi, and Tiramisu. I can't wait to continue venturing through the menu. I'll be really excited if/when they are able to serve alcohol so I can have a glass of wine with my pasta.

Everyone was courteous from the time we entered the restaurant until the time we walked back out the door. The space held a nice, low-lit ambiance. Italian decor and pictures graced the walls. The food was delicious . I wish the bread were toasted a little. Then that would have been a great starter for our dinner.

What given a menu with the oyster special. On ALL the table the had a sign stating they had oysters. Guess what!? They didn't have any oysters. The waitress had to come back and apologize and said they had crab claws if that worked. Guess what?! No crab claws. I mean gezz. At least make sure you have the replacement of the replacement for an item you don't have. Food wise, the bread they give you were rocks. Stale! The calamari was fried to oblivion! The beef ravioli was decent but the Alfredo sauce for the gnocchi was broken. Looked like when you warmed up Alfredo in the microwave. I was so done with the meal and wanted to leave but we talked about a cannoli all day so when I order a cannoli for dessert guess what?! NO CANNOLI! Don't go

We all agreed beforehand that we wanted to try a new place that felt pretty relaxed and had outdoor seating. This place gave everything, plus some! We didn't have to wait long for a table, and our waiter was very attentive & knowledgeable about the menu. He answered all of our questions & helped me decide what to order. The outdoor seating is spacious & it was nice to hear the live music coming from a neighboring business. My friends got the Goofy Foot drink & said that it was good but definitely on the stronger side w/the tequila. I opted for a glass of Riesling, it was delicious & paired perfectly with my meal. We didn't get any appetizers. I ordered the fish of the day: Red Snapper w/a Sweet Pea, Tomato & Saffron Risotto 20/10 I always judge food on whether it's "first bite" good & every piece on my plate passed the test. One of my friends chose the Smoked Salmon Pizza, which I was a bit skeptical about at first, but I tried a slice & it was so good. Definitely an out of the ordinary pizza combo that made me rethink all the ways smoked salmon can be used. Another friend ordered the Grilled Ribeye w/Brussel Sprouts & Mashed Potatoes, she loved it! The espresso martinis were also delicious. I wanted a cannoli for dessert but they were sold out, unfortunately. Overall, I'll definitely be returning b/c the food, pricing & atmosphere are all worth the drive. Can't wait to try the lunch menu next!

Cafe Trentuno was recommended on Yelp. At first glance, we were not impressed. It dated decor and there were no customers in sight. But the manager created us and took our order. He was very nice and informative of the menu. They do offer pizza by the slice at any time of the day. A plus if you just need a quick snack. They appear to serve Napoleon style pizza, so it was looking up. We ordered a large olive oil based, cheese with pepperoni and pineapple. I know it sounds weird but it's our favorite. Each pizza is custom made to order so it took a few minutes to be served. But the advantage was it was piping hot straight to the table. Olive oil was slightly sweet and tangy. Cheese was fresh and tasty. Toppings were perfect. Crust was crispy brown on undercarriage with nice crunch. Edges were crispy on outside and fluffy on inside. Manager suggested their balsamic dressing to dip the crust in, so we gave it a try. Highly recommended! It was a great choice! And of course, the Diet Coke was on point! Great customer service! Good pizza! We will definitely be back!
