The shot itself is almost $200 but I guess they didn't make enough off the shot. It's so frustrating how vet's always feel the need to scalp you! *** I am updating my review to reflect the discussion I had with the manager. He reached out to me to ask about my review and explained the veterinarians policy as well as why it was a policy. I appreciate that he took the time to reach out, to explain, and to validate my feelings on the matter. While I still think the policy is ridiculous, I understand that is a licensing issue and therefore primarily out of their control. I will be giving them another chance as I feel their communication on this matter warrants that.

It was so wonderful to talk to someone with the somewhat similar breed of dog. Then Dr. Teagre, was the icing on the cake. She was magnificent!! So sweet and we discussed River's itch and she printed out a picture of the specific dog food to feed to hopefully stop the itch. Dr. Sent home with us ear rinse, ear meds and pills. We've dealt with these issues more than once and Dr. and asst. were very caring and gentle with River. They both put my mind at ease to keep River safe and healthy!!
