No pretension, just good vibes. We appreciated the coloring books and crayons for our little ones as did the more grown-up fare on the kids menu. It's so crazy because there's now no smoking allowed inside. This happens to be one of the oldest bars in Oregon. For sure this goes way back. In the 1800s it was a place for men to come smoke. Also they played lots of pool. They even were able to get shaves. In 1933 it became the first bar in Lane County after prohibition to get a liquor license. They also survived the smoking ban by becoming a music venue. Of course the drinks are the best thing about it. They're known for the whiskeys. It's about $9 for Pendleton. That's one of the many to choose from, some good stuff. Cool interior with lots of antiques. There's the bar, and the area's oldest neon sign among other stuff. Good place to check out history.
