My waiter gave top tier service. He stopped by to check on me often and made sure I had everything. Food arrived on time and was piping hot. The salad was good. The bread not so much. It just tasted like a loaf of bread, not toasted. The oil had seasoning in it, but it wasn't flavorful. My shrimp in my shrimp pulcinella was tasty. The sauce needs to be thicker and with a more flavorful cheese and seasoning. The broccoli was fresh. The service is quick. Price is a bit steep for this meal because it lacked flavor. I probably could get a $23 meal elsewhere that has a bit more taste, but you know it wasn't terrible. The service made up for it. read more

ordered a small elizabeth's Special with a Greek Salad and Limoncello Cake. I enjoyed the pizza. It could have used a little spice - i should have grabbed some pepper flakes and parmesan. It honestly did not need the parmesan, just would have liked to try that as well.... There were plenty of toppings gs and they tasted fresh and delicious. The salad - with home made Italian Dreasing - was very good. Plenty of Feta, olives, tomatoes, and other toppings...with just the right amount of lettuce. All VERY FRESH!!! Maybe a second dressing would have been perfect. The lemon cake was very good as well! Very fresh and creamy. Definitely will have to go again...and add the peppers. Used to be an Elizabeth's near my home, not anymore, so needless to say I was excited to go cuz I haven't been to one since I was 6, I'm 15 now. Service is quick and very kind, our server was very nice, decor is about what you expect of an Italian resturaunt so no complaints, the bathroom was rather eerie, dimly lit and the stall for the toilet had a partition that was big enough to hid a full grown adult but that's just me, it was very clean and pleasant though, the garlic knots which I'm not gonna sugarcoat had garlic... so much so that it was rather gross. Mozzarella sticks good, my parents said their Stromboli was good, however my brother ordered a chicken and mushroom pasta sans the cheese and lo and behold, cheese... my pizza was rather greasy and kind of soggy. Overall it's not great, but it isn't terrible... King of queens can summarize this perfectly... just go to the little neighborhood joint called Dominos. read more

Okay, I am humbling myself here. Have never been here due to a prejudice of someone I love. They were served Elizabeth's Pizza at work several times and it was not good (according to this person I love). Well after hearing from several others how good Elizabeth's really is... we decided to give them a try. Well my goodness, have I learned my lesson. Our dinner was very good. I had the chicken caprice salad my husband had a ham, pineapple, olive small pizza. Don't make any cracks about pineapple on pizza.... Lol. Everything was good. Definitely recommend the caprice salad. My only complaint was I got full. ;-) The location was clean and neat. (It is time for them to wash their silk plants). The decor is festive and comfortable. Our server was friendly and attentive. We will be back again, I'm just sad it took us this long! Forgive us Elizabeth! read more

This was my second time of getting a pizza from Elizabeth's on Brickford Parkway. The first one was excellent. It was just the way I had ordered it, but the second one I got the crust was burnt on the bottom, which made it tough to chew through. I just don't think I'll order a pizza from there again. I have changed my review upon visiting this restaurant and dining in. The Raw Pizza I received I will take down upon completing this updated review. Our waitress was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu. Her customer service was excellent. She was prompt to greet us and take our drink orders as she dropped off the menus too. At one point my wife and I were finishing our drinks and there she was with refills. This is a family friendly restaurant with a nice sized dining area. We started with Calamari, it was seasoned perfectly and they were not greasy at all. We squeezed lemon on them and the marinara was delicious and it paired well with the Calamari. For our entrees I went with the Chicken Piccata. My wife went with the chicken francese. The chicken piccata had a good balance of lemon and butter. I personally prefer a little more lemon. Other than that, the chicken was moist and well cooked. The angel hair was cooked well and it absorbed the piccata sauce well. Most importantly, my meal was fresh. My wife enjoyed her chicken francese. We will absolutely return to have pizza in house. Honestly was afraid to have pizza after our horrible delivery experience. So freaking underrated Elizabeth's is simply outstanding! Not pictured is one of my favorite things there which is the cheesesteak! It's one of the best in the triad! As for what's pictured, it's all amazing. The Stromboli is freshly made to order. This is the traditional ham/pepperoni and I added mushrooms. I'm a cheese lover and this comes with plenty of it. Love the chef salad! All of the toppings are fresh. I think I'd order double meat next time. The ham and cheese on there is really good. The single slice is for sure to fill up a child. Two of those singles and I'm stuffed! The wings are excellent as well. I get them crispy and they are still juicy on the inside! Elizabeth's is definitely a DJ Cuisine fave! read more

We just picked up a to go order and apparently they are not honoring the 10% off check in offer any longer... unexpected bummer. The owner claimed that the offer wasn't for this location/his restaurant but that's just incorrect. I'm also confused as to why the last time I ordered chips and ranch as a side with my sub I received house made chips and this time I received a bag of Classic Lays chips... who dips Lays in ranch? I guess you need to specify whether you want bagged chips or hot chips because they won't clarify when your placing your order over the phone. I thought that was a little weird and it's just something to keep in mind. My fried zucchini were soggy but everything else was fine, as normal. Unfortunately, this visit left a bad taste in my mouth and was a little too underwhelming to not update my review on Elizabeth's Pizza. I really suggest they (the owner) remove the check-in offer from his Yelp biz page because there is no point in having it if he refuses to honor it. read more

I ended up with ordering the Chicken Marsala with angel hair noodles and the creamy tomato soup. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and a Chicken Parmesan dish with a Caesar salad. They brought out bread with a seasoned olive oil to dip it in, that was good. The salad and soup were what was to be expected. The pizza was good, not the best in GSO but better than most places. The Chicken Marsala was not seasoned well and the sauce was so thin and flavorless, it was hard to enjoy but I was starving. The Chicken Parmesan was better but the marinara sauce was bland. There are only two Elizabeth's pizza restaurants that I love to go in the Triad area. This one and the one at Silas creek Winston Salem. After I have eaten many times in both restaurants, I was curious enough to talk to owner and told him that I loved both restaurants. This was when I found out the owner owns these two restaurants. I love everything here. The steak and cheese Stromboli is the best that I have eaten in my life. I am not Italian so I could not compare it to other version of Stromboli. The pizza toppings are generous and well dispersed across the pizza. One of our children chose this as their birthday restaurant. Really bad experience with Elizabeth's Pizza and will NEVER go back. My mom ordered the cheese steak and it was mediocre at best, with what tasted like store-brought beef. My sister ordered the chicken alfredo, which was sent back due to the chicken tasting so poorly and very meaty. My caesar salad and italian trio was better but still disappointing. We expressed our displeasure to the waitress and the manager and was not met with any attempts to make the situation better, other than a meager apology. Honestly deserves no stars! read more

This franchise location of Elizabeth's Pizza is fine for a quick lunch, which makes up the vast majority of their business, but I don't know if I would want to have a dinner there at the prices they are asking. The service is quick and efficient, which is a plus for their sizable lunch crowd, and all lunch specials include a drink at a price less than $10. For my part, I was having my car serviced at Beamer's nearby, and needed to pass a little time. Pizza sounded good, so I made my way up and ordered their 2 slice lunch special for a cool six bucks. I wanted more than one topping, and was told I could add another for 60 cents per slice. Fair deal. I went with pepperoni and mushroom. About 5 minutes later, I was served up two hot (but re-heated of course) slices of pizza. I wasn't very impressed by the size of the slices, which I felt are larger at other locations, and certainly smaller than other NY style pizza slice chains in town. Not tiny by any means, just smaller than the standard. Both slices tasted good and were not overly greasy. I prefer other locations to this one, but would not shy away from it if I found myself wanting lunch in the area again. read more

I've been going to Elizabeth's Pizza since I was a kid, it's a beautiful family-owned restaurant... but I've been having sub-par food experiences for the past 4 or 5 times I've been there. I keep coming back because it's a place that I've grown up with, but the food sadly keeps disappointing me. I ordered the Eggplant Parmesan sandwich to-go, and I bit into almost a bread pudding type of situation with soggy "fried" eggplant. And the worst part - no sauce in the sandwich! There was the tiniest drizzle of marinara under a rubbery layer of cheese. Minus the lack of sauce, it seems like these problems stemmed from the sandwich sitting too long. They told me 10 minutes on the phone and I honored that, and the drive back to eat it was less than 10 minutes. I'd be impressed if the sandwich deteriorated that quickly. Prior to this experience, within the past couple months I've had the cheese steak sandwich, cheese ravioli, and zucchini fries - all very underwhelming. My all time favorite from here used to be the veggie pizza, but you can only order a large so I haven't had the opportunity to have it in a while... If someone wants to order one with me, maybe I'll be changing the stars of this review. read more

I have been going to this chain of restaurants for years. It's alway great. This location was extra special. Our waitress was really nice and keep our water filled. Always was checking on us. The food was amazing as always. The kicker was when we got ready to leave. We where spoken to by the host and the kitchen staff asking how was everything as thanking us for coming in that night. That's just a small thing but you hardly every see that anywhere anymore. I'll be going back and I would highly recommend you do as well. read more

New to the Greensboro area, I found Elizabeth's and couldn't be happier to have REAL Italian food and pizza again!
