You do have to walk across the indoor bridge to get there unless you valet park. They charge $2 an hour for parking. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Everything is done with an arm bracelet for things such as lab or testing. I had an appointment with neuromuscular department. The physicians and therapists are excellent. They're very thorough and up to date on current medicines and trials. The EMG center is in the same clinic so it's super convenient. Being part of the Duke portal is convenient for Atrium Wake Forest and Cone Health because all testing is visible and they can also see visit notes from the doctors. It makes it possible to see providers from different networks and not having to bring in or sign for your records to be shared. The facility is massive and the color system makes it easy to find your way. There are several labs so you don't have to walk a mile to get to one. Most walk in tests can accommodate with minimal waiting. It's about a quarter mile walk from the parking garage to the clinics so wear comfy shoes or walking device. You will have a lot of walking to do and there's limited seating in the main corridors.

The parking can be difficult because there are so many people using disabled spots that don't have placards or plates. And there's a long walk from the lot to the clinic area. Add about 10-15 minutes extra to park and walk to and from the clinic. Everything is color coded so it's easy to remember where you're going and coming from.

Anyone who relies on pain medication knows that since our BS government got involved with ruling how Drs treat pain you often find yourself looking for alternatives to narcotics. I cant say this has really helped but the infusions are not for everyone however if you are receiving trigger point injections along with IV infusions it can diminish pain for a limited period. Until the NC gets legal medical marijuana I will be on the pain management merry-go-round of trial and error.

They have TVs, comfortable furniture, gender neutral bathrooms, vending machines and a free coffee bar espresso station. It's as comfortable as possible in the surgery waiting area as a hospital can provide and the receptionist was very friendly. There was even a kind volunteer that walked around and introduced herself to us and let us know she was there if we needed anything. Overall, positive experience.

The actions that followed were completely unnecessary and escalated an already upsetting situation rather than resolving it professionally. Even more concerning has been the lack of accountability afterward. Our concerns and repeated requests for answers have gone largely unheard, and we still have not received appropriate resolution. Oftentimes new patient appointments are long, with cumbersome check in processes, but that was absolutely not my experience. It was helpful that I could input most information online, so paperwork was minimal and I really felt like we got to have an efficient and effective appointment.
