We also have owls, hawks, Canadian geese, mallard ducks, and even wild turkeys who sometimes pass through. If I am wearing my favorite red hat, hummingbirds will fly right up to my face to check me out. Wild Birds Unlimited is a franchised specialty store that caters to the enthusiast. They have a large variety of bird houses, feeders, and related products, and, of course, ample supplies of all the foods that birds enjoy. Today I bought a large, squirrel-resistant tube feeder and a big bag of safflower seeds. Everything in the store is attractively displayed, and the young lady who helped me was pleasant and knowledgeable. They also sell books and other nature stuff, as well as some potted plants.

The store carries Mazuri brand feed which is the very best for geese and ducks. They also have Oxbow which is the best brand for rabbits and guinea pigs. Prices are comparable to other stores in the area. The town of South Plainfield recognized this business and a few others in town for their importance in the economy of the area for over 100 years. Our dog was a mixed breed Sato rescue from the SPCA, which was a wonderful experience. My dog before that was a mixed breed rescue as well. Our application was never denied. In fact, we were approved for an aged 6 month + adoption and I have the evidence from attending an adoption fair. It was after that fair, that achieving any follow up was very difficult, though I eventually did receive an email after many attempts. I gather the respondent confused me with a different applicant. I know there is a lot of good work done there and the dogs look great, it was just difficult to communicate so we moved on.

He seemed to forget all about me as he wandered around behind the counter sniffing everything in his path. She asked me a few questions about the type of 'cut' I wanted for him and I left feeling comfortable that they would do a good job (leaving him is still not easy). Charli looked great when I picked him up a few hours later. We will definitely be returning to Animal Kingdom South!
