Today we had the pleasure of meeting Barclay's trainer Rich. He was an absolute gem and so knowledgeable. Most of the guys had the "I know what I'm doing already" attitude about taking this class. But guess who was the most surprised and took in the most information? Those same guys! Rich was very engaging with everyone and really did a wonderful job in every aspect of the training. The staff and owner are all very friendly and attentive to your need, are willing to answer any questions you have and are very knowledgeable about all the products they carry. If you are looking for a particular item or brand that is not in their inventory feel free to ask them if they can order it for you. I have done this in the past with a rabbit hutch that I found online but didn't want to deal with the high S&H associated with it. I asked the owner if she could special order it for me and sure enough within a matter of minutes she was able to tell me if her supplier carried it or not and what the lead time and cost would be. It was ordered promptly and delivered to the store when promised and when I came to pick it up...they even helped me load it into my truck. This store has a large variety of wet, dry and raw foods. It also sells treats galore, holistic care products, supplements, organic cleaning solutions and shampoos/conditioners for your furry loved one, grooming and house breaking supplies, collars/leashes/harnesses/leads, pet carriers and gates, beds and clothing...the list goes on and on. Anything to spoil your family pet member will probably be found at this store. They carry products for cats, dogs, critters, birds and fish, etc. The owner hosts adoption days at the store and is very generous with donating food and supplies to local shelters. The owner and staff organize, schedule and over see - Pictures with Santa - around Christmas time, so if you find yourself always adding your family pet to your annual cards, then this is a great thing to participate in because the professional photographer lets family members sit in on the picture too. The prices are very reasonable and in addition to getting the printed photo, you are also provided with a picture file that you can use to create your Christmas cards with. Very cool if you ask me. Plus the Santa isn't cheesy looking...his costume is amazing and he looks like a "real" Santa. The backdrop for the photo is really nice too. I can tell a lot of time goes into organizing and scheduling the photo sessions so their isn't any conflict with other people's pets during your appointment. I'd recommend def. going there to check out all of the neat items and brands they carry and while you are at it, bring your pet along with you. The store welcomes pets. They have a huge shop with so many pet needs and pet grooming salons. My kid had a fun time thinking he was at a zoo. The parking is huge as it's attached to a common shopping plaza.

And despite me visiting the edison location without any issues of course n.plainfield seemed to find every an anything to upcharge me for more vaccines, testing and flea preventative treatment. I felt downright harassed when signing in for my pups appointment. It felt like they're trying to nickel & dime for everything because so many stores have closed, this location is trying to carry the whole business on their shoulders by trying to bring in as much revenue as possible. Despite telling the young woman that my dog was on flea meds, she said they weren't good enough and to use what she was recommending. Excuse me? Then she insisted my dog needed to have a blood test. Why havent any of the other locations pushed for this? It was beyond annoying. Despite my appointment being at 4, we didn't leave until almost 5 with all the harassing upselling and waiting our turn to be seen by the vet. There were pleasant and is why I gave 2 stars instead of 1. I understand informing people, but please dont be pushy. Had I listened to this woman, I wouldve walked out with a $600 bill.
