    Drunken Noodle

We had the Spring Rolls, Crab Rangoons, Bang Bang Chicken, and the Drunken Noodles. The food was so hot, fresh, & DELICIOUS! The owners were SO nice! We will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

Small space but huge portions! There are only a few tables in the restaurant, but it is nice and clean! Food came out hot and the portions are enormous. I ordered the bang bang chicken lunch special and did fried rice instead of white rice. The lunch special changes each day. ($10.99 with an up charge for fried rice instead of white). It also come with an egg roll on the side. Family run business:) Both owners were working on site:)

The people and service are great. They really are. The food though is not your average Thai food. It's not bad food, it's just not quite the same. The pad Thai was good, but it was missing that sweet/spicy sauce you typically find in the pad Thai. The fries rice was a highlight of the meal. It was cooked better than most Asian restaurants. The wings were not bad either. The spring rolls are good, but they were missing a good bit of pork. It was a little piece here and there. Essentially vegetable spring rolls with a splash of pork. That's not to say that the food isn't good. It's just that it is not on par when compared to other Thai restaurants. It's Americanized Thai food. I would give it a second try to try something else, like drunken noodles or Tom Yum, but it will be a while before I do go back.

Fantastic food and service! First timer here and I will definitely be back! We ordered the crab rangoon as an appetizer and they were cooked to perfection...much different though than what I was accustomed to at other Asian spots. For my lunch I got the Hot Basil Stir Fry with beef and fried rice instead of the steamed rice. So full of flavor. A very generous portion of some of the best fried rice I have ever had! The beef was cooked amazingly with the mushrooms and hot peppers...this is a fantastic meal, the heat hits you and stays with you throughout the whole meal - PERFECT. My friend ordered the Bang Bang Chicken with fried rice as well. He really liked his and said that it was really good. Crispy chicken coated in a delicious sauce. The ambiance is what I expect at place like this, but these little spots are generally so much better than the places that really think they have their stuff together with lots of stuff to look at. The gentleman serving us, I presume it was Duke himself, was terrific. He was on top of everything and just a nice guy. If you're looking for some good food, head over to Duke's Thai Food and grab you a plate. I will most definitely be back.

What a sweet place! They have a small yet integral Thai menu! The other was super kind and they serve one good do so fast! It was perfect on this snowy day!

Duke's is a welcome addition to the Sango area, near the intersection of MLK 76 and Madison. The menu features Thai favorites like Pad Thai, fried rice, curries, Thai noodle and papaya salad. Apps include spring rolls, wontons, Bang Bang Chicken or Shrimp, etc. For those in your group preferring American fare, the menu includes burgers, chicken tenders, sandwiches, fries and such. Highly recommend the dine-in experience for your first sample. Duke and her (yes, her) staff are super friendly and eager to ensure your meal is prepared to your liking. On our first visit, the delicious Chicken Pad Thai did not fit the stereotypical taste profile. It was exceptionally fresh. The Tom Yum Chicken and Shrimp was a very large portion, packed with flavor, thanks in part to the lemon grass, Thai seasoning, lime juice and mushrooms. Open Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Duke's will be a weekly stop for us.

Food is good. Atmosphere ok. Not crazy about the disposable utensils and plates. Prices are reasonable.

Food was not true Thai. I had Paid Tia very bland. Prices were high for small portions and we had to eat out of styrofoam to go boxes

I understand everyone has off days, but both experiences were really disappointing. The first time, I ordered 2 Pad Thai dishes and 1 Pad See Ew for pickup after work on a week day. The Pad Thai I asked for level 1 spice. and the Pad See Ew a 2. All three dishes were unbelievably spicy, as if a huge amount of chili or ghost pepper had been added to every order. They were completely inedible and I enjoy spicy food. A few weeks later I decided to give them another try and ordered the exact same meals a second time. This time, both Pad Thai dishes had no sauce. They were just oily noodles with veggies and chicken. It honestly seemed like the sauce had been forgotten. It's not cheap or worth it at this point.

They greeted us with genuine kindness and even welcomed us to dine in just 30 minutes before closing. We ordered two panang curries and a fried rice, and everything was absolutely delicious. You can taste the love and care in every bite--especially from the auntie in the kitchen. Her cooking feels like a warm hug. Highly recommend supporting this gem of a local business. They truly deserve it. (Sorry for no photos - the food looked so good that we just had to eat as soon as we received the dishes)
