She was amazing! She went above and beyond to make my B-Day special! It was just me & my man. We've never been to this restaurant before. We parked directly across from the Shelby's Trio. Walked in & took the 2nd floor elevator. We were greeted by the hostess & other servers. There was a rose on each table. The booth & chairs are cushioned. They have wine list menu, app/entree menu, & dessert menu! I got the spaghetti bolognese. It was good! Bread is soft! The appetizer - Stuffed Shells were great! Like fried food! I got the 2nd cocktail on the list. La something. It wasn't bad! My man ordered the Walker mule & didn't taste much alcohol compared to mine. He finished that one faster than usual. We got a huge cheesecake slice with drizzled strawberry sauce. Order extra if you get that'. Otherwise it's really basic. The chocolate with whip cream baileys & espresso was amazing! My man isn't a chocolate fan & thought it was great! Server boxed my food! Highly recommend going at least once for dinner! They do run out of some things like Tortellini but it is a Sunday. So they just stock up on Mondays or Tuesdays. The bathrooms were clean! So clean that the seat was up & I almost fell in. I'm not use to a Sunday night toilet being cleaned up. They have the option to air dry or use paper towels. They have a basket next to the toilets but for sanitary reasons, I think they need something with a cover. We ain't at home & I don't want to see it. lol read more

Are the new menu It's TRASH. Start with the menu. After ordering they told us of a misprint with veal parm wasn't $34 but instead $43 but they were going to honor the $34 price. Why come to the table and tell us then?!?! Half my order was missing. The cowboy butter was missing. The sweet tea was missing. And only 4 tables in here with 6 servers. It's one thing to have the kitchen mess up. But it's both the server and the kitchen. SKIP THIS PLACE AND DONT COME. read more

First the food: Several items on the menu were not available and the ones that were left you the desire not to have ordered at all. The veal was tough, the Chicken Cesar salad was bland and scooped like ice cream onto lettuce. We had to wait so long to order I lost my appetite and just settled for a cannoli, the last one I was told. The Service: slow inattentive. The Server was nice but she was inexperienced. We had reservations for 6:30 there were plenty of empty tables. We got there at 6:05, our order wasn't taken until 7:10. The drinks took 20 minutes to get to the table. We started with a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer that was amazing - great flavor, large shrimp and the sauce was perfection. For dinner, three got the chicken piccata - hands down the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was delicious and that sauce I'll be thinking about for a while. It was served with a large serving of asparagus that was also cooked well. The other dish we had was the shrimp scampi, which was also good but nothing could compare to that piccata. We went with a large group (18ppl, including kids) due to location. We arrived at 5:30 and were immediately seated. This review is based on my family's experience as a small group of 3 within a larger group. I ordered a glass of wine and the panzanella. My panzanella came out with only cucumber and onion and a tiny bit of tomato. There was no fresh basil or home made croutons. I did ask and our server brought be a small ramekin of dry croutons and basil leaves to complete my salad. My husband ordered the chicken Caesar salad. It was ok, but nothing exciting. Certainly not worth $18. My son had the kids baked rigatoni which was very good. The meat sauce was delicious. The best part of the meal was the bread an this amazing homemade pesto. I tried to be less critical, realizing this is a new and upcoming restaurant in the area. I love the concept, and I believe it has great potential... however, they certainly have some kinks to be worked out. The food was just "OK". Perhaps it was just the dish I ordered. I ordered the chicken carbonara... the peas clearly had been frozen. Not fresh. and the dish itself, just wasn't very tasty; it lacked enough seasoning. Also, upon leaving the restaurant and driving out of the parking lot... we noticed a group of employees standing aside smoking cigarettes. While this isn't huge in and of itself... I expect to see something like that at McDonald's... but not at a "fine dining restaurant". Hopefully they will get things moving along better soon, and perhaps they may eventually have more than 40% capacity. read more

Before making a reservation, I checked Yelp. We almost didn't book a reservation because the reviews weren't that great, however, we decided to give it a try regardless. We're glad we took a chance, because it exceeded expectations. Our server, Sara, was awesome. She was very communicative about wait times, checked on us regularly, and gave good menu recommendations. There was an underwhelming amount of photos of both the restaurant and the food on Yelp, so I made sure to take plenty of pictures. Personally, I like to view pictures dishes in order to narrow in on a selection... so I am paying it forward. ;) The ambiance is upscale and gives off Nashville vibes. There were fresh cut roses on each table. It is a nice addition to Clarksville (which has wayyyyy too many chain restaurants). Things I noticed as I looked around... While reading the Yelp reviews, I noticed some of the previous reviewers spoke negatively of the restaurant for not having things like, an after dinner espresso and/or coffee. I can tell that management listened... because they HAVE an espresso machine that is proudly on display at the bar. Likewise, another reviewer gave them a harsh review for not having cannolis on the desert menu... and low and behold there is NOW cannoli on the desert menu. Personally, this shows signs of a business that is listening to its patrons feedback and making the necessary changes to improve the experience. Also, as a side note, I also noticed that they have a fantastic round, large party booth; this is a pro for anyone looking for a upscale option for a sizable party. Overall, the combination of flavors in the appetizer called conchiglioni ripieni al forno (stuffed shells) was good, however, I felt as thought the inner shrimp sausage filling could have been warmer. If it were warmer on the inside I would have thought it was on point. The bistecca alla fiorentina (T-bone steak) was perfectly medium rare. If you like garlic, you'll love the crispy garlic baby red potatoes (both my husband and I love them). They were buttery and crispy on the outside but soft on the inside. This paired well with the Pinot Nior which was flavorful and smooth. My husband had the pollo alla parmigiana, it was your standard chicken parmigiana fair but with fresh a twist (topped with fresh tomato salsa). The side of spaghetti garlic butter pasta was very flavorful with fresh graded Parmesan cheese. Again, we like garlic so this was appealing to us. We really considered a desert but we're a bit too full (given that we got and appetizer), but next time we will be trying one! There were many options. The restaurant had its own parking lot but it seems to get full quickly. Additionally, there is a charge for parking. This was a con but not an atypical frustration for downtown Clarksville. I'm hoping parking will get a bit better on this front once the new parks garage is finished. read more

We had a reservation for 6:30 on Saturday and were promptly seated at a booth as requested. The atmosphere was nice. The restaurant was clean and elegant. We loved our server who was prompt and accommodating throughout the meal. However, we were very disappointed when the food arrived. My husband ordered the chicken carbonara. It was bland and definitely needed more seasoning. I ordered the fettuccini alfredo. While it had more flavor than the carbonara, it was dry. We were concerned about the chicken in both dishes because it was pale. The menu said "golden brown" chicken, but it missed the mark. It also lacked seasoning. Overall, we wanted to love this place, and the atmosphere was so nice, but the food did not match. We were definitely underwhelmed. read more

Food was pretty good. I had the chicken Parmesan. Beware there are onions and carrots in the noodles. May be an authentic thing. It didn't bother me, but someone in my party didn't care for them. They still have some kinks to work out with the service. My salad came at the same time as my food. Bread came way after my entree. I asked for extra sauce, got a shot glass of sauce (if that much). Food was average. Very bland with little flavor. The restaurant is very nice and they have done a good job with spreading the table. This allows for conversation to carried easily without distractions in the room. One of the downfalls is the reservation process and customer service. We walked in & were asked if we had reservations & we told the hostess we did not, we had checked the website & reservations had been cut off but it said no wait come on on, she told us we could try 1 of the other 2 restaurants on the 2 upper floors. While waiting on the elevator a couple came in, no reservations, & the hostess ask if they would like to be put on the wait list. Well that wasn't offered to us but after hearing that I ask how long the wait would be & she said 20 mins. Ok great we'll wait. Finally got a table 40 mins later, 20 mins later we had to get the manager because no one had acknowledged we were sitting there, finally get drinks & after an hour & a half we still had not gotten our food & the manager could've cared less. Was very salty extremely over powering with an anchovies flavor Then he got his steak (asked for medium rare) was well done and a very off coloring 15 min later I received the appetizer the bruschetta (soggy,cold,stale from it being toasted and left out) 10 min later I received my chicken carbonara and it was clumpy cold no seasoning the chicken was questionable and smelt off. First let me say the bartenders and drinks were great. That being said I was not thrilled with what was advertised as filet minion, It had no resemblance or taste to a one, more of a like 2 pieces of braised beef resembling a piece of roast but tough meat. I asked for it to be cooked medium, it was overdone, what was advertised as mushrooms and onions ended up being mostly onions. A $58 meal should not look and taste like something out of a stew pot. Ok Trattoria I was really trying to give you a fair shake but there is a lot of improvement needed to be considered "fine Italian dining". You missed the mark on many of the traditional Italian appetizers, entrees and desert. Garlic dipping oil and bread, is that too hard? An espresso after dinner, not even on the menu. No cannolis, really? I can get cheesecake and tiramisu at Olive Garden. I was impressed by presentation until my wife's pasta came out cold. Having to eat mine before it went cold as I waited for her meal to be fixed, while trying to enjoy our anniversary, yeah no. Low marks, needs lots of work. The food could have been better than it was. One of the two dinners was luke warm. The waitress didn't bring bread with the food. We had to request it and then got it well into eating our dinner. We had to request salt and pepper, only to get pepper, and she couldn't find the salt. When we requested salt again another waiter asked the table next to us if we could borrow their salt. It was not a busy night, with plenty of people working. I do not understand what happened last night but we were rather disappointed. read more

Amazing service. Brand new restaurant so we understand some things need to be tweaked and fixed. One complaint we have is there wasn't any pasta dishes with a cream based sauce. So maybe adding a Cacio e Pepe dish. A bolognese dish would also be great. We had the pollo parmigiana and it was ok. The noodles were so dry so maybe consider adding a tomato sauce to them. The seafood dip appetizer was delicious. It was a little runny but the flavor was terrific. The shrimp appetizer was amazing! Overall we liked our experience and food just needs some changes. This space is so beautiful and the server/staff were all so nice that I hate to leave a bad review. I think if you want to go somewhere for drinks-it's perfect. Such a beautiful, scenic spot. But every dish came up short. There was not one thing we'd go back for. Every dish had SO much going on, when in reality... less is more. For example... A caprese salad should be tomato slices, cheese, basil and balsamic. That's it. This caprese had cherry tomatoes, pearl mozzarella balls, an assortment of olives, red peppers, endives & more. It was way too much. There was a prosciutto wrapped shrimp appetizer that also had artichokes, capers and a lemon glaze. It was a bit confusing and sadly so salty that we couldn't finish it. I wish I had taken photos of everything, but I only got a photo of the caprese. Again, the staff was so nice, the space was gorgeous and I appreciate that we were able to make a reservation unlike other spots in town... but we won't be going back. read more

Had higher hopes for a 'fine dining' restaurant. Unfortunately the ambiance was overwhelmed with kids screaming nearby and no background music to mitigate it. Service was okay. Food was passable, not in any way delicious and did not feel authentic Italian and kind of bland. Clarksville STILL needs to offer a better fine dining experience with more elegance and higher quality dishes, plus we do not want to hear children screaming during our meal. Unfortunately this didn't muster overall, sadly...Will hope they can improve but not returning for a while. read more
