Came by for a lunch and wanted the birria tacos, sadly they were not ready at the moment. So I settled on a meat burrito with steak. I will say it's one biggest burritos you could ever get, could not even eat it handheld, had to use a fork and knife. Also first time I seen a place that grilled cheese on the tortilla itself. The burrito was pretty filling, with meat and rice, also very flavorful, since other places put way too much lettuce and tomato as filler, to which in this case I had to search for lettuce and tomato in the mountain of meat and rice. Also the creamy chipotle sauce and red sauce which I think was regular chipotle sauce was really good, mixed it into the rice for an extra spicy and Smokey kick. I decided to stop by my friends restaurant and wow this place was absolutely amazing. I absolutely loved everything about it. The hospitality was amazing. The homemade guacamole was very delicious. I decided to get the vegetable queso and wow it was very delicious. It was the right amount if ingredients for everything. It wasn't too salty and it wasn't too spicy. You can definitely tell that everything was homemade. The prices are also amazing for the amount of food that you are getting. I highly recommend coming here and checking out this amazing restaurant. Omg this was a bomb Mexican place, the owner has magical hands. It was the most loving shrimp burrito I've ever had. The special sauce inside, quality products, rice cooked to perfection and crisped the tortilla after all that made this burrito finger licking good! The food was absolutely delicious and came out in a timely manner! I went out with my friend for a late birthday and we were able to sit out on the back patio and pick up our food when it was ready and talk while we had a drink together at the Rosevelt. The customer service was amazing, reading the menu, and the wait was not so long for a couple of items that we ordered and had to pick up and bring outside. I definitely would take friends here if we were to bring food outside on the patio again or inside upstairs. Even though they have a small location inside the food hall, it brings you an amazing Mexican food experience right to you. Would highly recommend (also right next to the bar and restrooms)! read more

Food is delicious. Presentation is fresh and plenty. Passing thru the area, I be found searching in this app. I was reluctant because of the "food court". Once inside, you quickly see this is a special place. The Roosevelt was an old movie theatre that closed in the 60's. Where the screen was, there is a long bar With outdoor access. There are a few types of food to choose from. We ordered tacos and steak salad, and he brought it to us in the bar. The Mayor was running the bar, and kept us entertained with old stories from this special place. A definite place to come back to!! read more

What started as a well over priced carne asada taco plate ended after just finishing the second taco only to notice a long black hair in the third taco. Appetite was definitely gone after pulling it out of the taco. While they were good for I will unfortunately never be dining there or in the Hudson Food Hall ever again. Please use a damn hair net or anything. If you are going to charge NYC prices for tacos, hold the hair. read more

Ordered online through DoorDash and it was right on time. The steak burrito was quite good, with a richer taste than I usually find in burritos, and with homemade sauces that compliment the complex flavors. You can tell that she takes pride in her food and enjoys making it for people. While she was finishing up my order she was having a conversation with a 5 year old and having a blast. We had the chicken chorizo burrito; which was freshly and carefully made - you can taste the freshness and we also had THE torta with pork chorizo and alllll the flavors stood out !
