They have the BEST dark chocolate strawberry smoothie I've ever had. Their Poulet Gruyere crepe was my regular order and it never once disappointed. The staff was always very nice. RIP crepe amour

This was spot #3 of 4...a slight detour from the coffee marathon for me & fellow Yelper, HeideAnn…read more I originally didn't plan on getting anything, but then we chose to share a savory crepe, which was perfect! We ordered the Poulet Gruyere ($12.10) without the cracked pepper...and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. They cut it it in half, exactly as I requested. This crepe was generously packed with chicken/mushroom/peppers/cheese consisting of intense flavors. While I appreciate the generous amount of filling in the crepe, the ratio of crepe to filling was a little off. The filling probably would have been easier to eat in a wrap form. Nonetheless, it was still very flavorful and I highly recommend it. They have an extensive menu including sweet/savory crepes, all-day breakfast, waffles, various beverages. There is definitely something for everyone. The cafe has plenty of seating (inside & outside), but I would assume it may be a little crowded if/when they get busy. The employees were very friendly and accommodating in that they gave us an extra cup with ice and split and plated the crepe. I thought it was cool they sell the crepe mix separately. There are plenty of outlets for anyone who needs to charge their devices. One thing to note, the cafe is located in a very tight and potentially busy strip mall. While there is enough parking, it can be limited in the evening (from past experience. Would I return? Possibly, if I'm in the area.

Praline's has a pleasant patio upstairs where they serve a menu of standard bistro food. We had a…read moredelightful Mother's Day lunch there, in the full splendor of spring. I ordered the Nicoise salad, which came with canned tuna. Sorry; since I have been to restaurants that serve it with grilled fresh tuna over the salad, I can no longer be happy with this. The other components (egg, potato, green beans) were simply boiled, no dressing except for the spinach. It wasn't bad, but it was also something I could easily have put together at home. Nothin' special. The others had the lobster benedict. While they were happy with the quantity of lobster, I did not hear any oohs or aahs about the taste. Service was either paced for a leisurely lunch, or too slow, depending on how you like to dine. If this is your neighborhood restaurant, it is a fine place to dine in good weather. I wouldn't cross town for it. Perhaps the lack of effort is because the focus is on the bakery downstairs, but the bistro upstairs falls just short of that je ne sais quoi that you want from a restaurant experience. Come on, Pralines, just a little more finesse!

I came in to the upstairs bistro for a solo lunch. I was sat right away and received quick service…read more The food was out quickly as well and served warm! It didn't blow me away, but it didn't taste bad. The lemon bar was tart, which I liked. I got 2 macarons to go (pistachio and lemon) and I would not recommend the macarons. They tasted fine, but not great. They are not worth $3 a cookie. They were sad, stiff macarons with barely any filling and 0 feet on the cookie. It's a no go for me. Definitely go for a different pastry or treat if you stop in! It was rainy when I went, so I couldn't sit outside. I imagine the outdoor terrace would be great on a nice day! The inside is nice. Overall I had a fine experience. I would come back again if someone invited me, but if I had a choice I'd want to try somewhere else in hopes of a better experience.

From ordering to having the food in my hand,it literally took a minute. For about $7.95 I had a delicious warm nutella and banana stuffed crepe, dusted with powder sugar. So Holy Crepes came to my job for our weekly "food truck fridays", and they did not disappoint. After several failed attempts to 'check-in' on yelp, the guy taking orders within the truck offered me a free crepe anyway..as part of the advertised yelp promotion. I sincerely appreciated his offer, and ate every last bite. Since Im pretty new to crepes (don't you dare judge me, yelp peeps), he recommended the Nutella, strawberry, and white chocolate crepe for me to try. Yessss...we have a winner!! The crepe was light and fluffy, and the white chocolate chips added a sweet savory tasty to the nutella and strawberry. So come to find out, this nice guy is Boris, the actual owner of Holy Crepes! Thank you again! Overall, I highly recommend holy crepes...p.s. don't forget to check-in if its your first time.
