Mixed berries and banana with chocolate on the side

I have been visiting this restaurant in Kentlands for crepes for years and it's always consistent, with friendly service and fresh ingredients. Most impressive, you can get a huge crepe full of perfectly ripe berries any time of year! I usually order a sweet crepe and a latte, but the savory options are also good. It has become a bit of a neighborhood staple. The parking is predictable for a planned neighborhood, which means it's plentiful but not always just out front (although there are a few spaces in back that are not popular for other businesses so they're often open. Prices are fair and the restaurant is always clean. It is particularly nice to sit outside on a nice day, but keeping warm with a fresh crepe inside in winter is also never a bad idea.

We've been patrons of Crepes-A-Go-Go for many years. The space is larger than one might think, and can handle some pretty large groups if you plan ahead. We went around 7pm for dinner, and it was super quiet and enjoyable. Owner is fantastic and is often there making the food himself. It's really a place that I hope sticks around as the food and atmosphere make it a perfect spot for a meal at any time of the day.

Nestled in the Kentlands, I found this crepery, which was a pleasant surprise. Crepes are delicious and not done very much around here. Sadly, I found them to be kinda disappointing. The food was ordered and served fast, and I thought the price was good. But, where I was let down was in the crepes stuffing. The crepe itself was okay -- perhaps a bit sweet -- but it was filled with just raw, cold, plain berries. Like someone had tipped a pint from Giant into the crepe and sealed it shut like a Chipotle burrito. They weren't cooked. No syrup or sauce. And... they weren't ripe. I might go back and try something else, but this place just didn't do it for me.

Sometimes simple food can be good and sometimes it can be too simple, as in this place. Crepes A-Go-Go began with a street vendor in Paris. That concept of simplified crepes was brought to America. My wife and I were interested in trying their dessert crepes after having dinner at a nearby restaurant. We got 2 crepes and a latte. 1) Red Delicious Apples, Brown Sugar, and Cinnamon crepe. The filling was cooked diced apples mixed with some brown sugar and a pinch of cinnamon. It had no sauce or syrup. The apples were a bit crunchy with mild flavors of apple and brown sugar. There was no cinnamon flavor because there was hardly any cinnamon on the apples. The crepe was thin, stretchy, and a little chewy. Even though there was some powdered sugar coating it, it was barely sweet with a hint of vanilla flavor. A sweet sauce was needed to give this crepe some flavor. Everything was too mild in flavor, which made this bland. 2) Strawberry, Raspberry, Blackberry, Blueberry, and Banana crepe. It had pieces of natural fruit, nothing else. The bananas were sweet. The blueberries were slightly sweet. The strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries were not sweet at all. The raspberries and blackberries were tart. The tartness dominated the flavors. The crepe was like the one above. Again, a flavorful sweet sauce was needed for this crepe. 3) Mokaccinotella Lavazza espresso blended with Nutella, steamed milk, and frothed milk. It had a strong Nutella flavor against a background of milk and full-bodied Lavazza coffee. It was well-made and rich in flavor. Excellent! The service was quick and polite. The orders are taken at the cash register. They bring it to your table for dine-in. The dining room and restrooms were clean, but the restrooms were old looking. They also sell quiches, omelets, waffles, paninis, salads, savory crepes, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, and a smoothie. I am hoping their savory crepes are much better than their sweet crepes. As it is, we won't be getting any more dessert crepes.

Ordered a late night apple cinnamon crepe just before closing very nice man who took my order and held it for me to pick up while they closed down for the night. Very tasty and sweet crepe full of apples! Excited to try more. Atmosphere is the area was fun family friendly with kids and residents strolling about the plaza.

Ordered the hot chocolate and a Nutella strawberry banana crepe. Hot chocolate was perfect for the price and full of flavor. The crepe was enjoyable with a good balance of fruit to Nutella. The service was very nice and hospitable!! Interior was inviting too. Overall, would come again!

Crepes a go go is a hidden Kentlands treasure. They have been here more than at least 5 years (at least that's how long I've known this place) and they always have the nicest lighting and ambiance. Their sweet crepes are phenomenal I always come here when I'm upset and Mr. Briam (the main cashier) has always given me the warmest welcome. Mr Luis, I believe the chef's name is, always makes the most nicest crepes. They don't skimp on the filling and the classics remain perfect every time. Please keep this place going. It's super romantic. They have awesome crepes and even gelato!

This is a low-key breakfast spot. They have a vast menu and the crepes are pretty good. I got to try a sweet (one with ricotta and apple sauce) and savory (ham, egg and cheese) and both crepes were pretty solid. The crepes were light and had just the right amount of filling. I also got a latte which was ok. However, my fave thing is actually their waffles. I also got to try out the plain waffle and it was delish--you don't even need to add syrup. And even though the place was bustling on a Sunday morning, the service was pretty quick. They got all our orders right (I came with a group of 5).

The frosting used on the outside and the cream used on the inside was not the fluffy and soft kind we liked and was not similar to the other cakes from this bakery that we liked. It tasted like hard butter and unfortunately we had to throw out the entire cake since everyone refused to eat more than the first bite. My husband asked the employee if this was a vanilla sponge cake and they said yes since he cannot eat chocolate cake. Unfortunately once we cut it, it was chocolate. It was a waste of $50+ and would not recommend unless you're just purchasing for pictures and not to eat. The mango and strawberry croissants were good with sweet whipped cream. I liked how the cream also tasted like mango in the mango croissant. The sweet pretzel was also good and crunchy. The inside of the store is nice with plenty of tables. I also liked how there were a lot of outlet spaces.

At 11:07, I looked into the store and saw movement although the lights were still turned off. The staff member saw me and came to the door. She informed me that they had a last-minute catering request and she needed about 15 minutes before opening the door. She said that if I could come back in 15 minutes that she would offer me a discount. When I returned 15 minutes later, I told her I wanted to order a cinnamon roll. She said that I didn't have to wait earlier if I was just ordering a cinnamon roll. However, she did not ask what I was ordering during our earlier interaction. So that means that I waited for nothing. At the very least, she should have apologized for the inconvenience that I experienced and since I used the Groupon offer, I was not offered anything for waiting. Also, if there is a last-minute catering request, that should not affect the opening of the store. I was disappointed with the service that I received. The only redemption was that the cinnamon roll was really good. I ordered a customized roll with cream cheese, coconut, caramel sauce, Oreo, and pie crumble. It was divine and worth every calorie.

There were endless fruity and chocolate combinations to choose from. I had a chuckle at their Luck O' The Irish flavor, a leprechaun inspired mix of mint Oreo and Lucky Charms. There was a sign stating that samples were limited to two, but I appreciated that the employees let us try a few extra given the overwhelming variety. *Lavender Honey: leaned far more heavily into honey than lavender. I was disappointed by how faint the floral notes were. The base was overly milky and dominated by sweetness rather than any delicate herbal flavor. *Cherry Blossom: suffered from the same issue of muted flavors. Supposedly a rose water and cherry combination, neither ingredient made much of an impression on the base. The rose lacked any fragrance and the cherry failed to provide either tartness or brightness. *Salted Caramel: slightly too aggressive with the sea salt, though it could have worked if the caramel had more depth. Instead, the caramel lacked any rich, toasted flavor, leaving the overall profile rather flat. The variety was entertaining, but the execution fell short. Many of the flavors sounded far more exciting than they actually tasted. The mix-ins and toppings needed to be incorporated more generously, and the bases themselves required stronger infusions to carry the advertised flavors. In the end, the playful names were more memorable than the ice cream itself.
