My partner and I went back today for crepes for lunch. This time, I had the shrimp and avocado and they had the chicken teriyaki. We ordered at the counter, and they were brought to our table a few minutes later. Delicious, fresh, the flavors popped. Will be back.

Cute little date spot with sweet and savory crepes served like a cone. You definitely want to plan to eat in! The crepes were freshly made as we waited - love that they have gluten-free options too. The fruit in the crepe was freshly made and very tasty. Great when you are in the mood for something sweet, but not too heavy. Great place to go for a bite before or after a movie next door!

I got and shared the Mango Tango Crepe. It was very good and came out quickly. I have to say that it was a bit pricy with each Crepe being around 9-10$. However all in all a great experience.

The ambiance of this cafe is very quaint and cozy and they sell a selection of coffee, tea, and sweet or savory crepes. The service was polite and patient as I took my time deliberating what to order. I ordered a mixed berry crepe and pistachio latte; the mixed berry crepe was freshly made and the server cut up the strawberries and arranged the crepe in front of me. The crepe was a good balance of fruit, custard, and layers of thin crepe, and it still tasted good even after I took it home and ate it about an hour later. The pistachio latte had a strong nutty flavor and I liked that it wasn't too sweet. The prices for drinks are comparable or slightly cheaper than Starbucks and crepes are about $8-$10. As this is located in Rockville town center near the Regal Cinema, there is 2 hour free parking in garage A, B, and C.

We have been wanting to try this Crêpe spot and so glad we did!! We got sweet and savory crepes! Service was easy and quick. Crepes were crispy and delicious! For the price and what u get definitely good!! Even the drinks were a great price! Love this place will definitely come back and we recommend if you like crepes you should try this spot!!! Btw the places itself is cozy and had a good amount of seating!

The food was good - not exceptional, but tasty and worthy. The prices are a bit hefty - three crepes and three small coffees were $36 plus tax and tip. The staff was okay. Courteous but not super inviting. The service was slow but the place is very clean and intriguing with interesting decor. They have savory and sweet crepe options - the sweet ones had more flavor than savory one we ordered.

This café is a very comfortable place to grab a bite and to get some work done. I tried a savory crepe for the first time. I usually get sweet crepes, but my dad was with me, and he was going for a savory crepe, so I did the same. I must say, I really enjoyed my crepe. It paired perfectly with my Chai latte. My dad also liked his crepe and chocolate coffee. I will definitely visit this café again in the future.

I've been coming here ever since they opened their doors in the Rockville Town Square! The owner(s)/management are always incredibly kind to me, and I've been so glad that they made it through some of the worst that the pandemic has brought so far to small businesses. Amai takes be right back to being in Japan with their Japanese-inspired crepes and crepe-flavors! My go-tos are the Tuna and the Mixed berry (I always add banana to it!). They also have the best coffee in the square, in my opinion, and there isn't a coffee there you could go wrong on!

I feel like this place has so much potential to be our go to crepes spot, but some things were not the best. If we were rating presentation, then 5 stars for sure! But overall, there could be some improvements. Some weekends we crave for crepes, but we haven't really found any that we love in the area. I went online and found Amai Crepe. It's a 20 min drive each way, but we wanted to try it! My husband and I ordered the Angus Beef Crepe and added egg as our main course. For dessert, he ordered the Chocolate Lovers and I ordered the Banana Nutella Crepe. The Angus Beef Crepe was delicious, but there was not much meat. My husband and I were joking that they put 1 piece of beef and shredded it into pieces. It was more of a vegetable crepe. The crepes itself were not fresh, especially for the dessert crepes. It was already a bit hard, as though it was made days ago. Anything with chocolate for me is still good though. Not sure if we'll be back for pick up on a weekend, but we would give it another try if we were in the area!

Popped in to grab lunch impromptu, didn't know what to expect. Usually go to another crepe place nearby. As of today, that all stops! This place was superb. Service was kind, thoughtful to my partners plethora of dietary needs. (Which is a lot.) Can't wait to come back!

Service is not really friendly, but food is always great. The spot is always clean that's why I love hanging out there.

Omg, this place saved my life. I was craving for caffeine at 10:00pm, but didn't want to have a cup of 7-11 coffee favor water. Luckily, this cafe opens till 10:30pm on Saturdays. I know I probably have caffeine addiction, please don't judge me. I ran into the cafe and ordered an espresso chocolate. The coffee was pretty good; except, it could be a bit warmer. At the same, I saw they have a great selection of crepes, so I couldn't stop myself from grabbing a blueberry cream crepe, it turned out just all right. But I would still go back and try something different.

    Are the crepes gluten free?

The crepes itself are gluten free because we use rice flour instead. However, for sweet crepes, those that have granola or pocky sticks are not gluten, but we can always remove them. As for savory crepes the chicken teriyaki and the angus beef are…

Japanese Katsu Curry Bowl ($15.00) plus $1.00 for greens and $0.50 for extra curry sauce. My partner enjoyed this dish, but thought the curry flavor could have been stronger. Also, they probably wouldn't get the extra sauce again. Overall, good bowls. We'll be back. One disappointment is that there is no way to "build your own bowl." I asked the server, and she said you can ask to substitute an item on one of their main bowls, but there's no "create your own" option. Since you order from a kiosk, it seems that could be straightforward, with the price adjusted based on what you add in, but I guess not here. That will limit the number of times I come here, because I prefer the option for variety. Ordering vis kiosk also doesn't allow you to order the sauce "on the side," which is another unnecessary (IMHO) limitation.

We started with the Grand Caviar tasting, which was the most expensive caviar option on the menu. For the price, I expected much more. The caviar was extremely salty, to the point where it felt like additional salt had been added on top. The tasting included three varieties of caviar. The caviar they used on one was the exact caviar they used in sushi. Our second appetizer, the tuna dish, was significantly better. While the presentation could have been more refined and visually appealing, the flavor exceeded expectations and was one of the stronger dishes we tried. For my entrée, I ordered the branzino. The fish itself was decent, but def not crispy but it was salty. The sauce was salty and the fish was salty making the entire plate feel like salt layered upon salt. Additionally, the skin was advertised as crispy, but it lacked the crisp texture I was expecting. My husband ordered the rainbow trout stuffed with crab. It was enjoyable and probably the most balanced entrée of the evening, though it wasn't particularly memorable. For sides, I ordered the wild mushrooms, and my husband chose the risotto. The risotto had good flavor but seemed slightly undercooked. The mushroom side was also on the salty side, and despite being described as "wild mushrooms," it consisted primarily of portobello mushroom.
