It would explain the partially melted look to the tops of some of the ice cream. Homemade ice-cream when I was a child always had the same melty texture. The staff member was so patient with us as it was our first time there and the menu along with the total amount of ice-cream flavors was a slight bit more intimidating than expected for our choices. The customers were able to order in English or Spanish which I thought was awesome seeing as my neighborhood can benefit from going here and not being intimidated by using a language that is uncomfortable for them. It was a lot of younger families and teens but it wasn't a rowdy atmosphere. I'm not into rowdy. If you are in the neighborhood, feeling like you want a walking taco, ice cream, sundae, funnel cakes, churro's, or just a cold bottled drink definitely stop in.
