They have hand sanitizer and plenty of space to keep apart from other customers in the restaurant. The staff wears masks and gloves. I usually order a super burrito with shrimp and I'm never disappointed, the ingredients mesh together really well and tastes yummy! Oh my goodness this place is SOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!! Very rarely do you find a restaurant that does everything this well. Even down to the rice and beans. They're so good that I find myself ordering bean, rice and cheese burritos on a fairly regular basis. Every meat I've tried has been incredible. The crispy chicken tacos are legit. I can't get enough of them. The beef birria is out of this world. And every single one of their salsas are delicious. A bit small, but with the beans of your choice accompanied with Spanish Rice was enough. Wife seemed pleased with her Seafood Burrito w/chips. Although our daughter didn't care for the creamy spicy sauce, she had no difficulty devourinh her Carnitas Burrito Bowl w/chips. Shaved Ice: Very good, but nothing like 'Hawaiian Shave Ice' texture. This is a really good casual Mexican spot. I have had carne asada and shrimp burritos and both were loaded with protein, flavor and definitely hit the spot for my burrito cravings. I loved the chips and assortments of fresh salsas - I think we got like 4 or 5 different salsas for our pick up order, which I always appreciate. I got their breakfast burrito and it was a bit lackluster. I did get their carne Asada taco and that was actually very yummy. Ordered from DoorDash. I'll start with the pros: -Tres leches cake wasn't what I was expecting but it was flavorful and not too sweet. It was very refreshing. -The food was packaged well and delivered quickly and professionally. -The order came with delicious chips and lots of free salsas. Now the not so great: -We also ordered two burritos, one only with rice and beans. The other was a super burrito. Both were TOO SALTY. I haven't had such salty food ever, but after a few bites, we couldn't eat anymore. One other note: -The general flavor of the food was actually good, but it's really impossible to savor when the food tastes like it was seasoned with an entire bucket of salt. Came here on Tuesday for dollar tacos and they are legit a dollar. They had a menu of which tacos were part of the promotion, fortunately all the faves were there; carnitas, asada, pastor etc Due to COVID-19 it was take out only and no seafood so I unfortunately was not able to try the ceviche dishes The tacos itself were flavorful and had a lot of meat. Jacqueline is the only ray of shining light here. She is the most helpful and polite person who works here, always is ready to help me and give me what I ask for. Otherwise, everyone else seems to have a huge chip on their shoulder. It's a shame too, because we really like the food here, but with COVID, we have to do everything via phone and pick up, so I think it really illuminates poor attitudes, and there are a lot of those here! General unhappiness, people that seem to really hate their job or the people that they serve. I always have problems asking for specifically what I want. Especially salsa or chips. I only like the mild/red salsa. And I always ask for that, but they give me grief and then when I ask for more they said I'll have to pay for a side order. If we were eating in their restaurant, they wouldn't be charging for it. It's so frustrating. This time, I ordered a 16 oz of rice and they completely forgot it. I had to drive back when I remembered (probably at least 5 miles of extra driving, I had to do), and when I got there, I asked for more red salsa for the inconvenience, and she gave me ONE. ONE. Nice to know my time is so valued by you and you're ready to take the responsibility of what just went wrong there. The other time we went, we ordered a 16 oz rice and they gave us 8. The other thing is they always ask for you to give your tip amount before the service has happened. I've tried giving a tip, not giving a tip, and it doesn't matter. They don't treat you any better. Seems like that's the only thing driving them, but they're not actually going to be courteous or attentive enough to actually earn it! Saturday night take-out during SIP. Called in our order, grabbed a couple of things from the Safeway next door and our order was ready by the time we stopped in. Used 25% off Yelp check in. Tres Leches - slice of cake soaked in some light milky concoction. I'd never had this type of cake before so found the fact that was drenched surprising, but the cake was delicious. Sweet but not sickening so. Rice pudding - I didn't try this but husband liked it and said it wasn't very sweet, for those who don't have a big sweet tooth. Tacos - carne asada was so-so, lengua was tender with a hint of gaminess, al pastor was good, but the absolute winner was the tripa. Not something we order often and not something my husband would ever willingly ask for (I didn't tell him what it was until after he ate it and said it was his favorite), but hands down, the best of the meats we had here. The tripa was in bits and had a nice char texture. We also got a lot more of it compared to the other meats (like double the amount), which makes wonder if it's not as popular and maybe they had a lot of it left right before closing. Works for us! Carnitas super burrito - unfortunately this was absolutely disappointing. Aside from overly saltiness, the pork had no flavor. Literally. You could've told me it was a meatless burrito and I'd have believed you. Also, the texture was mushy. Virtually indistinguishable from the refried beans. One of the most disappointing carnitas I've ever had, though everything else in the burrito was good. Verde juice - Celery, cucumber, cactus, orange and pineapple. It was ok. Pretty good for something healthy but not something I would drink purely for fun. The juices had separated in the cup so I had to wait until I got home to re-mix it. Not their fault of course, just a note for reference in case you aren't able to drink it right way. Overall, it was a good meal and it was fun to discover a new restaurant. Would go back for the tripa since I haven't had any as good as here anywhere else. Notes: I think tacos are $1 on Tuesdays, which is an amazing deal. Some menu items are unavailable during the shelter in place, such as menudo and most of their seafood. I would love to try their menudo some day. read more

One of my favorite quick service Mexican spots in the area. I am pretty basic and just get a carnitas burrito or bean and cheese burrito and they always come very delicious and full of flavor. You must get the grilled shrimp! I just got an 8oz side of shrimp and it is truly delicious! It is in a butter herb sauce and I finished the whole thing before I got home. Fresh, good food, friendly staff. However, like another reviewer mentioned, some of the meat is overly salted. I ordered three different tacos (Cabeza, tripa, carnitas), and was only able to finish one and a half due to the high salt content. I was sad because otherwise the food was delicious smelling and looked authentic and high quality. We also ordered a kids' burrito and quesadilla, which my family said was fine. So we usually like the food from here, but we decided to door dash today. We saw that the Taco Tuesday option was available and thought it might just be an ongoing promotion or whatever the case was. So we ordered 3 tacos. I receive the food, but no tacos. I was still charged the full amount. I called the restaurant and asked where the tacos were and they said they didn't include them cause the taco Tuesday didn't apply. I responded by "well if that's the case, why not just do the regular charge?" And they responded with "we don't know how to do that" This restaurant has been on door dash for a while and I'm sure they could've easily called DD or at the very least call me to let me know. Instead they probably just wanted the small little fee or charge that door dash gives them. So they decided not to include the food and give no heads up in hopes that I wouldn't ask for a refund. Ended up paying $12 for one chile rellano. While the food is decent, the service sucks.
