Cholita Linda is delicioussss! This was my first time visiting the Walnut Creek location. There's seating inside and outside. Interior is beautiful! You order at the counter and they give you a buzzer. We ordered baja fish tacos, plantains, and yuca fries. The Baja fish tacos are alwaysss good! Plantains were okay. The bananas might not have been fully ripe. Yuca fries were delicious! Mango Fresca was also super refreshing.

Very cute and perfect for an appetizer or lunch while shopping. Indoor/Outdoor seating. Order at register. The food is good, but it was a bit disappointing they were out of two of the beverages I selected.

Charming beautiful restaurant located conveniently at the broadway plaza. Perfect for a tropical inspired lunch on a hot summer day. Reminds one of vacation and spring break. The most awesome is the price. Our entire platter was $35. We got a fish and chicken taco, churros, the papito beef sandwich. Was quite filling. Perfect outdoor seatings, beautifully decorated with artificial flowers and table plastics that look joyful and tropical, perfect sunlight, stroller friendly self service seating, order at the counter. Everyone is super friendly and love the vibe and vibrant colors, the inside of the restaurant looks like a courtyard surrounded by beautiful building and terracotta roofs

Fish taco - YES! Carne asada taco - YES! Seasoned fries - YES! Everything was so good! Definitely don't skip the agua frescas -- they're a must! I got the blackberry and also tried the mango (recommended by a staff member) and both were delicious. Super easy ordering setup -- you pay when you order and pick up when it's ready. There's indoor seating and a dog-friendly outdoor patio, which is always a win. Great location inside Broadway Plaza near Nordstrom, next to Sourdough & Co. Friendly staff and a nice casual spot to grab tacos and a refreshing drink. Can't wait to come back!

Always our go to for a nice break. Everything was yummy and I always pour their hot sauce on everything. Kind service, I always ask for clarifications and staff favorites. Look is very nice and clean. Love that they have a bathroom too.

After a few hours of walking around the mall, visiting some stores, and doing the shopping we needed, we were both very hungry. As I entered, I eyed Cholita Linda, and since we had already eaten at the place near us, I knew what we wanted and would enjoy for our late lunch or early dinner... a Cubano! For those who might not know, a traditional Cubano sandwich is made with Cuban bread (a white bread loaf with a thin, crispy crust and a soft, airy inside. Usually, a moist palmetto leaf is placed on top of the dough before baking to create its signature split), Mojo-marinated roasted pork (slow-roasted in a marinade made of sour orange juice, garlic, oregano, and cumin), glazed ham (sweet, deli-style sliced ham), Swiss cheese, dill pickles, and yellow mustard. Of course, here in the US, the recipe is adjusted based on the location and available ingredients, but the core stays the same, which makes for a delicious sandwich. Cholita Linda's Cubano is made with pulled pork shoulder, black forest ham, mustard, pickles, aioli, and Swiss cheese on grilled French bread. Trust me when I tell you that it is a delicious version! Anyway, this location is very well managed and maintained. The staff are friendly and the place is clean and nicely kept. They have tables inside and outside the mall. On a warm day, you might prefer to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air while you eat.

The Baja fish tacos are a slam dunk. Get those, the plantains and the black beans and you'll be golden. We also got: Chips, salsa, guac: ok Yucca fries with aji amarillo: ok Carne asada taco: The carne asada was dry and chewy. Chicharron pollo plate: The chicharron was also a bit too dry. The pickled onions were really good. The plates are a great value. A well rounded meal with generous portions at a very reasonable price (sub $20). Overall a 3.5, but the Baja fish tacos were bomb and the black beans might very well be the best black beans I've ever had.

I've heard people say that this place has excellent fish tacos so I had to go try one. I'm glad they weren't wrong! I had the; Fish taco - battered fish in a tortilla with their house sauce, and cabbage. I don't how they fried it so well or seasoned it but I couldn't put it down. i inhaled it in two bite because it was that delicious! Cubano Sandwich - This is among the best cubanos that I've ever had. Melted cheese with mustard and pork. I can still think about the taste right now. The ham and roasted pork works so well together with the mustard and pickles. The bread was soft and the swiss cheese made each bite feel as if I was swimming in gooey delicious goodness. I would most definitely come back to eat 3 more of just the Cuban sandwiches!

We were starving at 3 pm on a Saturday afternoon in July 19, 2025 after driving from San Francisco to San Mateo to pick up my mother-in-law and drive to Walnut Creek. My devised a plan we would head to Walnut Creek a hour drive across the San Mateo Bridge up the 880 to 24 hwy. By the time we arrived my blood sugar was dropping and me wife had to return clothing at The Loft. So her Mom and I were charged with foraging for food and let her know where. We started exploring the various options at the outdoor mall trying to navigate the massive crowds. Wait what? Was there a Summer holiday celebrating my exact half birthday I was aware of? As my blood sugar was dropping, my wife was shopping and my mother-in-law was popping into store thinking ther might be a resturant.! "I see a Lululemon" I hear they a good restaurant". I shared with her unless you are going to grab to go food and go into Lululemon we were NOT going to eat there! We strolled desperately seeking resturants. Came into an area that had a pretzel vendor but passed. Then a vegan place but 20 minutes wait? Nope! Finally, salmon the sign for Cholita Linda! Eureka! I had visited the restaurant located in the Ferry Building 6 days earlier and already had posted my Yelp! Review so I knew it was excellent. We entered and quickly ordered some tacos and salad with chicken. Great fresh juices. Great hospitality and service. Clean. Festive colors. It was an oasis. My wife found us and we had another amazing meal!

My best friend was meeting me for lunch at another location when I noticed Cholita Linda. I'm always up for Mexican/Latin food. She said to me "I'm game..want to try it?" I'm sure glad we did. Very helpful staff. You order at the front and when the food is ready it, you pick it up. In our case, they helped carry some to the table. She wanted guacamole with chips. Oh my! Fresh ingredients and you could see the fresh cut up peppers and they served it also with salsa which I brought home to have with my eggs. I ordered a salad and added chicken as my protein. It was so big!!! $9.95 and to have chicken, $5 more. To me that's a bargain compared to what you receive at a fast food restaurant. We both enjoyed it! Cute interior looking like windows. Located in the Broadway Plaza shopping center near Nordstrom's. We both said we would come back again. Need to try the tacos!

Baja fish tacos, chips & salsa, papito tofu
    Christine C.

This is a fast-casual winner in Broadway Plaza. My favorite are the Baja fish tacos, and the tofu tacos are excellent also. I've not tried the meats, but my kids say they are delicious. My vegetarian husband raves about the Papito Tofu. I would love an option other than pico de gallo for Chips & Salsa, but at least the pico is fresh and flavorful. The service and environment is good for mall dining - fast, friendly and clean. It can get a bit noisy when it's crowded, but for yummy, quick food in between shopping, this is an excellent spot!

Visited here for a quick casual lunch and the sandwiches were very tasty actually. Lechon was our favorite. Chips and guacamole were nice and fresh as well. Definitely will go back.

Im pleased to hear they do look into these things and try to make things whole. I've been to this restaurant a dozen times since working in alamo in the past. Last time I'm coming here. I placed a phone order for a REGULAR al pastor burrito earlier. The amount of meat was miniscule compared to the beans and rice BTW. When I got there they gal read the tag that had my phone order for a REGULAR burrito. I was charged $17 but with tax it was over $18. I called later in the day and the lady on the phone said the regular is 12.99. Im lactose intolerant so I don't do dairy which the super has. Anyways I find this business practice repulsive and will not be returning. I hope this review gets views and reconsider patronizing at this establishment. Huge thumbs down. They don't seem to value customers. I called them after finding out they did me dirty overcharging me. The employee told me the owner/management was out of town. I reached out to them on instagram in attempt to inform ownership/management of what is happening. The person responding on instagram told me they are out of town. I never got a follow up from them. Who knows if they actually investigated what happened because I didn't get a follow up. I could care less about the extra few dollars they took. If they have an employee intentionally overcharging then they need to correct it. It's simple as that. All the info is in the photo I included in the review if they choose to investigate.

We started with the chips and salsa, and they were a great way to kick things off. The chips tasted fresh and were perfectly crispy. Both the red and green salsas had really good flavor without being overly spicy. We also ordered spicy margaritas, and the bartender definitely knew what they were doing. The drinks were well-balanced with just the right amount of heat. For our entrees, we ordered the burrito, carne plate, enchiladas, and the bee salad. The standout was definitely the carne--it was incredibly tender and practically melted in your mouth. It was cooked perfectly. The burrito was absolutely massive and packed with flavor, while the enchiladas tasted homemade and were comforting and delicious. Everyone at the table left happy. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food, excellent drinks, and attentive service despite how busy they were. We'll definitely be back--especially because their brunch menu is next on our list!
