I finally tried the food and things didn't work out well. I have to say that this an issue I run into at a lot of places, but this is the worse due to the disregard of the word vegetarian. If you have vegetarian on your menu you should hold true to that. I order what was to be a vegetarian burrito, but if the beans are cooked in pork oil it is no longer vegetarian. I love hole in the wall places and this place hands down, just became our favorite Taco Tuesday joint. Clean establishment, friendly atmosphere and the ladies behind the counter don't speak English too well, which is kinda of sign for authentic cuisine ahead! $1 taco tuesdays for the classics, you know al pastor, Pollo, Carne Asada, and chorizo. We ordered the Carne Asada (5/5) and the chorizo(5/5). Both tacos were well seasoned, perfectly cooked, and came with a heap load of radishes and limes in the box. The guacamole salsa was tasty. Really smooth and creamy. And the house salsa had just the amount of kick and smokiness to compliment the tacos perfectly. The real show stopper had to be the Elotes Entero, which are as yummy as you can get them. Smothered in the Mexican mayo, cheese and chili, it really couldn't get any better. My only sour note was my mangonada (3/5). I'm picky when it comes to these things and all I want is some uniformity when it comes to these magical unicorns of the Mexican food world. The way that Dulce makes theirs is they take some mango sherbet and blend with a bunch of ripe mango and then pour the red syrupy elixir of sourness (chamoy sauce) and chili on top. So yea, you have to mix the mango goodness with the tart sourness goodness to get a real good bite of it. I wish it had layers to better distribute the flavors. Because if you just eat the chamoy sauce on top, your face is gunna contort in so many different facial angles lol. Other than that, we throughly enjoyed our visit. I was curious to see how a torta restaurant out in Pittsburg would compare to the great torta spots in the city. Pretty simple menu. Just pick a meat. Okay I think it's about time I write a review for my favorite spot especially after 10 check ins lol. Being a San Francisco native I have had my fair share of bomb (delicious) Mexican food so when I moved to BayPoint I was missing the authenticity and flavor the mission district offers. Boy was I glad to stumble upon this gem , the food is flavorful, and filling. My recommendations are the monster tacos which are huge tacos with beans,avocado and sour cream added to the regular tacos , also the natural juices are refreshing just wish they had more of a verity, the tostilocos are addicting and the super nachos are very filling and delicious now your probably wondering why I have given them 3 stars rather than the 5 stars I want to give them but here is why.. Today I went in and bought nachos and added avocado for 50 cents more came home no avocado:( rewind 2 others times I've asked for avocado still no avocado that's $1.50 that I've paid extra and didn't get what I paid for I mean I can always drive back but I figured the gas I'm spending driving all the way back is more expensive than the three small pieces of avocado they add to the nachos :/ which is what I got the one and only time they got my order right. Very minor complaint yeah it's just avocado but that's extra $ I'm spending and after my 3 complaints to the staff they still continue to do it :( none the less I still enjoy the food and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area. read more

I'm a huge fan of the Carne Asada Super Burritos here! The rice and beans flow together well and provide a great base for the burrito (IMO the rice and beans can make or break a burrito). I also like the shrimp and fish tacos when I'm in the mood for something a bit lighter. The salsa bar is great, I grab a couple of the orange salsas and the roasted garlic salsas and pour it over everything I order. They also have a fresh juice bar, my favorite is the Popeye. Dulce's provides a great bang for the buck and is one of my go-tos when on the go. read more

Very nice flavors on all, lingua was a little bland but tender. The only complaint is that corn tortillas were a bit soggy but probably from the juice from lingua. If there was a chance for zero stars, that's what they would get. I went over there last Sunday Feb 26 I was basically the only customer I gave my order to these young girl that was just playing with another coworker, and she end up taking my order wrong. I wanted like a juice and I said I don't see anybody preparing my juice and she's like you didn't order anything and I said OK it's my fault. Please make me a juice and I pay them. All I see them doing it's showing themselves stuff on the phone doing nothing I had to go and tell them "I got to go, Can you please focus on getting my order ready " and disappointment is that they look at you and talk to you and treat you like if you are the problem . They gave me my food and I left and later I realize that they didn't give me any fork or napkins, or any sauce . It's amazing that for some simple order just like tacos. So i bought a juice and pico de gallo def recommend the juices but i will never order pico de gallo again here. I have loved the food and drinks here Im not sure if it was a bad day or if this is a trend to be expected. In detail for the pico de gallo I ordered the large cup to share and well everyone had a bite and left it alone the cup is still full to the rim. The watermelon and melon was mushy and dried looking old, the mango was hard as a rock and dry, the jicama was really dry and well all the fruit visibly showed dryness as if it had been sitting all weekend. Only thing that was not dry was the pineapple but even then it had tons of core. I was pretty disappointed as I was looking forward to freshly cut fruit that is at least edible yet sadly left my mouth dry.:( ill add a pic if i can. We had an office lunch and didn't want to do the usual pizza, so decided to try this place as the prices were pretty reasonable to feed 30 people. We ordered a set menu which included tortillas, chicken, chips, cheese enchiladas, refried beans, salsa, rice, and bean cheese and rice burritos. The burritos were large and could have fed two people. Chips were pretty good, and they gave us a lot of rice and tortillas. Overall the flavors were good, but the enchiladas were dry and the refried beans were really soupy. Don't know if having it picked up and delivered made a difference or not. Horrible customer service, went to the restaurant 7/27/19 put my order in for steak fries, there was a large family behind me that ordered. I waited a very long time to get my simple order and the family that was behind me got their food before I got mine pretty quick. I went up to the register and the cashier says "oh they didn't give you your food yet" if I had not went up there my food would have still been sitting on the tray getting cold. Absolutely amazing. My first visit was on the 26th of July. I ordered the nachos. So good. Wednesday the 31 at 857 pm I called to see what time they closed. They said they were closing in 5 minutes. I was already in my car on the way there and they said they would stay open for me to place a phone order. I was visiting a friend, and she suggested we have lunch at Dulce Antojitos. My first time here. First thing I noticed was the tables were dirty/sticky. The food was just okay, not much flavor. The pieces of onions in my tacos where cut big. Customer Service is non existent. There's no greeting, you go up to the counter they take your order and that's it. When my food came out the lady that brought it out forgot my fork. When she brought it to me she basically threw it on my plate. Rude!!!! So why the 2 stars?? I did get a fruit biónico to go and it was very tasty, with lots of fresh fruit. Might stop by if I'm in the area for a biónico. I used to come here all the time, but after my last visit I will not be returning. I ordered 3 flautas, orange/carrot juice and a fruit salad. I saved the fruit salad for breakfast the next morning and while I was eating it, a BUG came off of one of my strawberries onto the spoon I was eating with. The bug was still alive and crawling on the spoon after I found it. I tried to call the same day I ate it but there was no manager on duty. I wanted my money back for this issue because I lost my appetite and didn't even drink my juice.
