Huge disappointment. Called and placed an order, only to get home and find that out nacho plate was missing and the enchiladas that were suppose to come with rice and beans did not. Our steak and shrimp burritos were also missing the steak!! I was there waiting for the order and it was already cold and needed to be reheated when we got home. When I called to ask about the missing items, I was placed on hold three times for several minutes each time, while they tried to figure out "who's in charge." Once I spoke with the woman "in charge" she simply said that "yea the kitchen forgot to put them in." No apologies, no attempt to remedy the situation or make it better. At that point I let her know that this customer service has been extremely unprofessional and the food was a huge disappointment. Not that she seemed to care whatsoever. I have returned 3 times this months because, obviously I love the place. The Pico de Gallo is amazing, the flan is addicting, the bionicos are creamy and delicious. I ordered birria taco's and my baseline order to any taqueria that I go to for the first time, a regular carnitas burrito. The birria tacos were filled with stewed beef and tasty. Wifey approved. I forgot to ask for consome which I'll be sure to ask for next time. The carnitas burrito was just right. Flavorful, not salty, with bits of crunchy and tender roast pork. It wasn't too greasy and not at all dry. Added plus is the free salsa bar AND chips. They also have a salsa de queso that you don't see too often which was also very tasty. Came here for lunch with a friend on Tuesday around 1pm and the place was packed! He knew it would be crowded so we ordered to-go. I'm glad I hadn't planned to eat in because it was very busy. I like the atmosphere with the bright colored walls and seemingly endless menu. I was trying to figure out the difference between the jugos and licuados, but I wasn't curious enough to ask. I had the breakfast burrito with carne asada and it was absolutely delicious! Although the burrito itself was a little bland, the combination of gooey and chewy textures with the yummy green sauce made my tummy very happy! This is my go to every Tuesday for Taco Tuesday. Everything is fresh and delicious each time we order. The tacos are yummy and anytime I go to an event on a Tuesday that is potluck I bring these tacos and everyone enjoys them! Even the picky eaters. My kids also like the ochata. And the burritos?! Mmm mmm mmm...... I've seen bigger... but tastier?! Not really! These burritos were delectable! Don't forget the SUPER NACHOS! These things were LARGE and in charge! This place has become extremely popular in the past few months and for good reason. Everything we've had here has been exceptional. Good, fresh ingredients and packed with flavor. Take the tortas. They're on a unique toasted roll that's grilled on the inside as well as outside. There are many flavors (15?), I usually go with the Mexican which is a mix of asada and chorizo. The chorizo isn't too greasy and matches up well with the steak. Inside the torta: generous portion of meat, pickled peppers, melted asadero(?), lettuce, guacamole. One torta can be extremely filling. Then there's the desserts and fresh fruit drinks. We like the fresh yogurt, a 12 oz. cup for $2.50. The flans are also good. Highly recommended! read more

My boyfriend comes back with his Mexican food haul saying he found a new spot in Bay Point. I see that he bought some frescas. I complain that he shouldn't be getting frescas anymore because they are packed with sugar. I proceed to drink it anyway. Oh no... this one is different. It's all watermelon with no added sweetness. I have had some of the juicer drinks they make and they are delicious. $1 taco Tuesdays are pretty busy but worth the wait. Never a long wait at all. This place is really good. I came in on my day off using the neaby feature on Yelp. I live in the area but don't really venture around but the reviews intrigued me and I was wanting some Mexican. First impression walking in was, "Wow, it's clean." The decor was wasn't too much and they had a ton of seating. I asked the gentleman at the counter which he preferred between two torta choices and he was pretty honest and candid about it. I can appreciate that. The carne asada torta was pretty darn good. The meat, the bread, the cheese, everything! I dumped on the green, and quite spicy, salsa and went to work! I then had the seafood ceviche on a tostada. YUM! Probably the best I've had.
