Slowest shipping of all the orders I placed this Christmas. One pair of socks took 19 days to arrive in Colorado. Could have driven to Duluth and picked them up myself for that amount of time. Everything else I ordered from various sites arrived well before the socks...even an item I ordered a full week after the socks arrived first. The firehose pants are the best pants I've ever owned and super durable, washable and seem like they'll last forever. I attempted to place an order for several T-shirts on their website. The website would not allow me to place an order. I called their Customer service and was placed on hold for about ten minutes. The agent told me to call my bank and see if there was a problem. The bank said my account was fine and the problem was with Duluth Trading. I called customer service and was told that they recently had a new system installed and that they were experiencing technical difficulties and that was why my order was not going through. After placing several other calls to Duluth customer service and being put on hold, and being told that the wait time to find out the problem could be a few more hours or possibly two days, I decided to cancel the order. I've only placed two orders with DTC but have been very impressed. I ordered the bucknaked boxer briefs and they are great. I had to order more to replace all my old boxers. The first order shipped right away and was delivered in no time. The second order was lost by USPS so I contacted DTC via their online chat feature and didn't have to wait but a minute and the agent replaced my order with expedited shipping. What more could you ask for? As far as some of the negative reviews, how can you complain about not being made in the USA and price while also saying how great the quality is? You can't have it all people. If it were made in the USA it would cost twice as much or be half the quality. If that's a problem for you then you should write your congressmen and quit complaining about DTC. I can't speak to the return policy because I haven't needed to return anything. Terrible customer service. I ordered two items online with a gift card I received for Christmas. A few days later I received an email saying neither items were in stock and the money would be sent to my credit card (except that I paid with a gift card). So after talking to 3 people, being hung up on twice, and waiting on hold for 30 minutes, they determined the money was sent to me as a check (wtf?). 3 weeks later, still no check and the sale is over. I placed an order on 12/8/17 for 2 pair of briefs. Got a message that the order was on the way and the tracking info showed the order to be delivered between the 15th - 19th. Since the order was not delivered, I called Duluth on 12/22 and it was confirmed that my order never reached the shipper, but was lost in thin air. A replacement order would be sent, but not reach me until after Christmas. That was unacceptable so I asked to speak with a supervisor and Penny T. came on the line. She assured me that my replacement order would be sent via one-day shipping and would arrive on 12/23. No package came on the 23rd, nor the 24th, nor the 25th. I sent a very angry email explaining everything, including my suspicion that I was lied to about the one-day delivery, and only got a patronizing email in return. I finally got one half of my order on 12/27 and the other half on the 29th. NEVER again will I order from this company!!!!! read more

My original order was 11/30/2017, I bought my husband some work clothes. I order 3 pairs of pants in the same size. 2 of them fit, 1 pair was too small. I returned them within 2 days of receipt. 12/28/2017 I received an email that they had received my return and would process the exchange within 2 days. I have been waiting more than patiently, I understood it was the holiday season and that there may be some delay. I received an email today 2/2/2018 that my exchange order had been cancelled. I called customer service up receipt of the cancellation email. The lady on the phone could not say why it took 5 weeks to cancel the order. She could not tell me how long it would take for me to get a refund. She also could not tell me if it would be put on my credit card or mailed. So I still have no pants and am out $59.00 and I had to pay $ towards shipping. I was unable to get any answers from the manager that was put on the phone. Lots of hype... No Bull guarantee is full of bull. Their marketing practices are almost unethical, but no one put a gun to my head. I read and saw the hype... I made the mistake of not doing the research... I bought two pair of Buck naked underwire. 22.50 each plus 11.50 shipping... shipping was a rip off and a joke.. sent via USPS via the slowest method.. plastic bag weighed less than 8 oz. yet they charged me 11.50. they could have put those two pair of underware in a USPS Priority shipping box for 7 dollars and I would have had it in two days, it took a week to get my order, like I said it came via snail mail and the snail must have been half dead. Rip Off??? you bet. On to the underware. No better than the best Haines or FOTL of similar style and design, however I can buy 4 pair for 20 dollars at Kmart or Walmart. that's 5 dollars a pair not 22.50. Their no bull guarantee is covered with shipping charges and restocking fees., I would Not buy these again if they were 10 dollars a pair and had free shipping.. I have never felts so ripped of by a company who claims to be different, and have a no bull Guarantee... if you search the internet you will find lots of very disappointed people.. I installed the Yelp app just to write this review. I had to tell someone about the insulated canvas cargo pants I bought from them. My family and neighbors are avoiding me and won't listen to me anymore. I am a roofer. An old roofer. My pants usually last about 6-8 weeks. Well before that, the pockets have holes, the belt loops break, etc. I have never found a really good pair of pants. Some better than others. I'm usually a Carhart guy but I try everything and some are ok and some are awful. Certainly nothing ever prompted me to go out and write a review. Then I bought my first pair of Duluth Trading pants this week. Insulated canvas cargo pants. They are absolutely the best pair of pants I have ever owned or even dreamed of. The quality of material and thought behind the design is astounding. I will never buy a pair of pants anywhere else again. The design is pure genius. All the regular cargo pants pockets PLUS two extra slip in pockets on the outside of the lower pockets. A hidden pocket inside the waistband. Hammer loops on both sides. Key loop on the front. There are 4 belt loops in the back PLUS a 3-inch wide heavy duty loop in the center. Double belt loops each side in the front. All the pockets are heavy duty canvas. Even the normal upper pockets. That is always the first thing to rip on other brands. These things are indestructible. The cargo pockets are riveted. That's the second thing that goes on other brands. I get caught on a nail or something and rip the flap off. Not on these babies. They fit perfect. Now that's subjective but it always seems whatever I buy is a little tight here and there. These things fit like lamb skin gloves. You say "ahhhh" in pleasure when you slip them on. Brand new, not washed, they are soft and comfortable, yet are very heavy duty canvas like Dickies, Craftsman or Carhart except they seem to be an even tougher fabric than those brands. I don't know why they are so flexible and comfortable. I normally wash new work pants 2-3-4 times on "Sanitary" hot water setting before wearing and even then it's like they are made out of wood. I slipped these honeys on when I got them and they were soft and supple right out of the bag. They are more comfortable than a pair of sweat pants. It's like magic or something. Heavy canvas work pants that you can sleep in. I spent the last two days sliding around on a 9-pitch asphalt shingle roof. There are no wear marks. No pulled stitches. They fit so nicely from waist to thighs that I don't need the suspenders I hate to wear. I'm typing this in my boxers while they are in the wash. My kids want to call the doctor. They think I've gone nuts. I just can't put on my other work pants anymore. I'm going back to Ramsey NJ tomorrow to buy more pairs. Do yourself a favor. Forget all the other brands. Buy a pair of these babies and you're addicted. You'll never waste your money on any other brand again. I'm not a review person. I didn't know how or where to leave this review. Yelp came up in Google so I installed the Yelp app just to write this. They are that much better than anything else. I had to tell someone..everyone. They are spooky-good. I bought three pairs of underwear from them. The retail price was $19 - each - but they were on sale for $12. These were very pricey so I assumed the reason was they were an American made product. Certainly, their commercials give you that impression. I prefer to buy American if I can so I gladly bought the products only to see "Made in Thailand" on the clothes. So, why the high cost? If the underwear is not made here and is made in country for considerably less, why do they charge so much? Frankly, I felt taken. The products seem to be pretty good but there are much less expensive versions available locally. I have no idea how long they will last either. They did upgrade shipping a little to get my correct order to me. I received the correct order finally like two weeks later ( adding to the time of the original order). I have been purchasing items from DT for about 15-18 months. While the prices are on the high side, for the most part I have been satisfied. Not so much with my recent purchase. I purchased some items I wanted for a vacation I am planning. When I placed the order, I selected a shipping option that stated the latest day the items would be delivered was the day before I leave for vacation. When I tracked my package, the delivery date was updated to be two days after I leave. I did reach out to DT to express my disappointment and was offered to have a replacement package sent overnight if I was willing to pay 16.99 in shipping. I kindly declined the offer because apparently my continued patronage is not worth 16.99 to DT. While I may still buy select items from DT in the future, they will definitely no longer be my go-to source for clothing items. read more

I really hate to write this review (because I love their products) the quality is great, even if it is overpriced,but here is my story. I have ordered from Duluth Trading three times, maybe the first time I had some responsibility. I did not understand their web ordering and did not realize they posted products even if they don't have it? So I got the wrong size (partly my fault). I had to pay to return it (okay). I sent it back and nothing happened excepted they acknowledged getting it. It set and set and set. I called twice before I got it resolved (really three times). Again nothing happened? (Two weeks went by) I called again 4 times now. I was informed it was on hold due to payment of return shipping ? What you have my credit card on file we have talked four times on the phone? By the time this was over I waited a month and a half and paid double for the items. I placed a second order and other than very slow shipping no issues. I bring this up for one reason only. It was small items they ship by postal service, I assure you it does not take the post office three weeks even with their cheapest service to get it from Wisconsin to Texas. My third order was for Christmas 2018 gifts for family. I ordered with more than three weeks lead time four pair of men's underwear. I got two, even though it said they were all in stock? Not sure why they did not all get shipped together? I sent two e-mails (no response) I called on Dec 24th and was told the other half will arrive after Christmas. I am completing my review based on my "on-line" experiences that I have had over the past few months. I chose Duluth trading company because of their funny commercials at first. Once I logged on and saw that they really do have comfort in mind and that they also cater to the Big and Tall community .. that's right I said community .. Everyone else has a community why cant we :-) I placed a few orders over a few month period of time. I ordered pants, socks, shirts, underwear, jackets, and boots. Everything was easily ordered online. Everything showed up in a very reasonable amount of time and the products are well made. I really enjoy everything I have ordered from them except for a pair of boots. Those were very uncomfortable. I wore them on and off for close to two months to see if I needed to break them in. No change. I even removed their original insoles and placed after market insoles in them and still not comfortable. So after wearing for close to two months I called DTC and explained what I had going on and they accepted the return for a full refund with no questions asked. The guy on the phone was so polite I almost threw up ! That's right... over politeness can cause nausea and vomiting. They emailed me a return label and paid for the return process through USPS. Now I have been on hold forever waiting to find out where the replacement is. I will not order from here again. I ordered the cotton underwear briefs on the recommendation of a friend. Ordering online is easy enough, but shipping is not expedited in any way. It takes a while for the product to arrive in Plano Texas. The underwear are very comfortable seem to be good quality but are expensive. If you can easily afford them I would recommend to any man. The only problem I have is that I wish they were made in the USA. These underwear were made in Vietnam. I'm not saying that Duluth trading is advertising made in the USA but it does give an "all american" vibe. I have a total of 5 underwear from Duluth Trading, we will see how they hold up. Bought the large lifetime leather tote for myself to use as a work bag and it is absolutely gorgeous. I love the thick leather and quality hard wear on it. I must be too heavy duty even for Duluth though, because a strap broke after just two weeks of use. I looked to the website to see about an exchange and noticed there was a $6.95 shipping fee. So I decided to email customer support because that seemed a little unfair after having used this bag for such a short time. They really are true to their no bull guarantee! After my email explaining what had happened to my beloved bag they responded within 24 hours saying that my new bag is on its way with a complimentary return label. Please remove the "No" part from the "No Bull Guarantee"...that would be much more accurate to describe ordering from this company. I ordered a few hundred dollars worth of clothing from Duluth including boxers and shirts (all of which don't fit true to size). Since I am a first-time buyer from this company and trusted the thousands of positive reviews (I learned later that Duluth removes poor reviews from their website) I trusted the No Bull Guarantee they offered and utilized the enclosed Easy Does It return label. A month later, I am still waiting on my credit card refund and customer service tells me it sometimes takes 1-2 BILLING CYCLES (as an 1-2 months) for a refund to be credited to my account and that its out of their hands because this all takes place at their warehouse. ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! Here's the real kicker...they charged me $105 for an order I didn't even make, and then tell me they have record of it on my online account and I can send it back to them, minus the $7.99 return fee. Once again, ARE YOU KIDDING ME??!! You're charging me for your mistake on an order I didn't even make?? Absolutely never again...this company is fraudulent, purposely taking months to refund you hoping you will just give up or forget about your money and consider it lost. To top it off, they delete the really critical reviews from their website (they only keep the ones that read like a minor gripe so it looks like they accept "all" feedback). I was told we would have to return the whole thing they don't carry replacement parts. Well that is great when nothing is wrong with the briefcase it is simply the strap. So then she looks further they no longer carry the briefcase we can simply get a full refund or replace it with the new updated version which is now canvas not leather not even on the same playing field. read more

First time ordering from the Duluth trading, and unfortunately will be my last. I ordered two pants one ballroom one ultimate fire hose and a pair of knee pads. I made the mistake of getting a size 32 waist which is what I wear but the pants were extremely tight so I returned them, and that's where the issues started. After a week I received the pants and they were the wrong size. They sent me 34x34 right waist wrong length called customer service sure enough the mess up was on them. So they said they would resend the pants but they no longer had the ultimate fire hose pants in the camel color and offered black which was fine. When the pants arrived the ballroom where the right size, fit fine, the ultimate fire hose pants where actually the regular five pocket cargo. When I called they told me the pants where no longer available, the sale I used wasn't either, and if I wanted pants with slots for knee pads I would have to send the cargo pants back with a additional $30!?? Did I do something wrong here?? Who made this call to just give me pants I didn't even order? like I wouldn't notice.. I was determined to find pants with the slot for the knee pads. Again I go online I order pants on sale the dry flex or what ever they are called, with of course the knee pad slots. When I placed the order I forgot I had a promo code to use for shipping, so I call to see what they can do for me. (Best part) She tells me she has no problem letting me use the code for free shipping, but unfortunately they no longer had the pants in stock. They didn't even send me a email. I actually did a review a week ago and gave them 3 stars, but it magically disappeared for some reason. But then today, the straw that broke the camel's back. For online, their customer service, if you want to call it that, is pathetic. I placed an order on 12/31/17. Got the automated response that said to give them 2-3 days to process the order and that I would receive tracking information for my order. On 1/8/18, since I had still heard nothing regarding my order, I called to check on it. The customer service person told me that they had no idea why it hadn't been shipped yet, it was in the warehouse, and in fact they would overnight ship it to me since they had dropped the ball. Told me it would come "UPS all the way" and I would have my order on 1/9/18. When it didn't arrive on the 9th, I called again to check on it. The lady who tracked it said that "It was taken to the post office today, and it will be delivered tomorrow." I asked her why I was promised next day delivery, and it was at the post office. She told me "It is coming next day. It's coming tomorrow. Sometimes UPS goes to the post office if it can get their quicker." Um. No. I send a lot of packages out UPS overnight, and it goes UPS all the way, and it has a "overnight" sticker on it when it comes. I asked her if it was labeled for overnight, and she said it was. It comes the next day, regular mail, with a UPS sure post label. I never did get an email with tracking information. I wrote to Duluth, asking why I was lied to twice, and for an explanation. I got a canned response "If you need a response, we will contact you as soon as possible, otherwise we will pass it on to the responsible department." I never got any reply. Then, today, on 1/20/18, I get an email from Duluth "Your package is on it's way", with tracking information for my package that was delivered 10 days ago. Pathetic customer service.
