If you care at all about your health, please avoid "Duly Health and Care". We have had two spectacularly poor experiences with Duly - the first involving a botched ECG that spiraled into a cascade of unnecessary testing, being told that my husband had suffered "a massive cardiac event", being charged over $2500 for nothing, and finally learning that all previous tests had either been performed and/or read incorrectly. The second situation involves patient abandonment over the fourth of July weekend - when a patient with newly diagnosed Stage 3 multiple myeloma was left entirely without pain medication for three days. Tried to get the Rx filled before the holiday without success - and the "on-call doctor" was "away from her computer" and suggested that he take Tylenol for his vertebral fractures. Stay away if you'd like to live. read more

The doctors and care at Duly are great. But the phone system and/or training of those who answer can be a nightmare. I have to change mail order pharmacies due to a change in insurance. Aetna/CVS Caremark worked through my prescriptions in detail, contacted Northwestern Medicine for the ones prescribed by those doctors, with no problem and these prescriptions are on the way. However, Duly is not returning their calls. For days now, I have gotten texts asking me to get my provider to contact them. So I call Duly, get placed on hold, from the hold they drop me back into the phone queue. I leave a message for them to call me. They call me, I ask not to be placed on hold, they put me on hold anyway and I get dropped back into the initial phone queue. (I suspect this is also happening to pharmacies who call them.) Eventually, someone calls me back and tells me it is my responsibility to find out the Pharmacy's address. Since Northwestern is already shipping the prescriptions I got from them, I went to my Northwestern MyChart, copied the new pharmacy address from there and tried to enter it into my Duly mychart. Duly's MyChart won't accept it. I messaged through MyChart, explaining the problem, including the address. Of the 4 options for tagging the message, the only one that made sense was 'Insurance'. Got a reply message that I had reached the wrong department. Have now messaged with a tagline "medical question". If that doesn't work, registered letters are next. So far I've spent over 6 hours (including all the phone calls and holds with all parties) trying to get this simple issue taken care of. Still not resolved. read more

The doctors may be wonderful, but this organization is a disgrace. Let's say that you are a patient of a doctor who practices at the downtown Wheaton office, for example. Lucky you! That office recently changed its phone system so that there is no way to contact your doctor's office directly and you now get to play the phone tree lottery if you ever have a question that can't be answered by the Duly app. Say, for example, you have a question about a test result in MyChart, released to you weeks ago but which has yet to be reviewed by your (likely overworked) doctor, notwithstanding that handy on-line "message" feature. You now get to call a central scheduling number (which sounds like it goes to an overseas call center) and then have the joyful opportunity to convince (beg) an operator to transfer your call to your doctor or nurse's office. Patient privacy? Forget it! They will ask to know why you think you are entitled to have your call put through so, yes, expect to disclose whatever condition you have to a total stranger so they can judge whether you are worthy to continue your attempt to leave a message for your doctor. Did you successfully pass the gatekeeper of the phone lines? Great. Now wait on hold for 10-15 minutes until given the option to leave a callback number, and hope that someone from your doctor's office takes pity on you and calls you back. (unless your call is dropped first, which means starting the process over again.) It is quite possibly that the end result of your efforts will be a call from a nurse who has never met your doctor and is "helping" from a "remote location" but is happy to "pass on your message". Did you instead get a call from a nurse who actually works with and knows your doctor? Congrats, you just won the lottery. TLDR: Don't bother asking your doctor for a direct line or expecting to be able to communicate after your office visit. Duly in its wisdom has decided that is not efficient. read more

Few appointments. Staff is curt. Duly Health is terrible at communication. I had called numerous times with no answer. When the call was finally picked up, I requested the appointment. However, apparently the staff did not actually place on the schedule. I came for the appointment and the doctor wasn't even in the office that day. read more

This review is for Dr. Conrad's office; specifically Katie Flaherty PA. I made an apt with this office as a new patient because I had some skin spots I wanted checked and felt a general exam was due. I had read good things about Dr. Conrad and my intention was to book with him, but he was scheduled well into the following month so when I reached out to the office I was encouraged to see Katy sooner rather than later, so I met with her. I was late arriving for my apt as I made the mistake of going to DMG on Willow instead of Town Sq (all Dermatology is located here). I attempted to call the office to notify them but was put on hold and consequently cut off several times. When I arrived for my apt I asked if she was available to see me and if not I completely understood & would reschedule. The girl up front assured me Katy had time and was available. When Katy entered the exam room she was very abrupt. We exchanged brief pleasantries after which my entire 7 minute 'exam' felt very robotic and extremely impersonal. She spoke fast, asked if I had questions numerous times, answered my questions abruptly and I was literally out the door in less than 10 min. It took me longer to get here. This felt nothing like an exam and she sat in her chair almost the entire time. When I explained some concerns about my hair, not once did she ask to examine. She didn't. Nothing was explained without my prompting. She did not extend herself in the least. In fact, I felt as if she was doing me a favor by seeing me. There was one person in the waiting room when I arrived and left the office. This apt. was wasted time and time I carved out of my schedule. I ended up scheduling another apt with my former dermatologist. Bottom line - I wouldn't recommend her to anyone. read more

I have seen 2 medical professionals at this clinic: Dr. J. Herrmann and Bridget Padgett, P.A. The first one has injected botox and fillers into my aging face and the second has removed a plantar wart from my foot. It is a super difficult office to find on the first visit. The office is in the Town Square outdoor mall located upstairs from Egg'lectic Cafe. I was so cranky on my first search for that location. But, since then, I haven't had to wait longer than 5 minutes, for any appointment. No one likes to be late for work due to a long waiting room experience. I have "fired" doctors before for making me wait. Back to the services... I was 54 and had never had any cosmetic work done, so I was nervous. My primary care physician recommended Dr. Herrmann based on personal knowledge. My first appointment was an evaluation in which I was clear, "Don't make me look like I have on a mask; just make the wrinkles a little softer." Dr. Herrmann listened and advised. I returned for a few injections (filler and botox) to correct my hatred of excessive upper lip lines and deep frown lines between the eyes (he injected a little numbing agent first). The doctor also treated for a downturned mouth and thinning lips. The follow-up appointment was a little more botox between the eyes and over upper lip. Since then, I had one 5-month visit for botox. I added a before/after pic, because I wanted pics when I was so afraid of injections. And, I am not ashamed of getting real about aging. I find Dr. Herrmann and his staff to be good listeners, professional in their approach, friendly, and excellent communicators. Bridget has had to treat my foot 4 times (or 5). She is punctual, friendly, helpful, tries to be painless, informative, and pleasant. I look forward to her smiling face and direct approach to treatment. read more

I call to reschedule my appointment with Bridget for a routine skin exam. All seems well. I check in (today) and tell a receptionist "I have a 3:45 appointment with Bridget." She hands me paperwork to update. That's the end of our interaction. I get IN THE ROOM and am told by a nurse I'm seeing an Allison. ?! Whaaat??? WHO. is. Allison??? TOTALLY THROWN OFF! I'm offered to change my appointment, but am NOT happy: why was I booked with someone else and WHY was it not mentioned at the front desk - like, "Oh, hey, I have you down to see Allison, NOT Bridget"?! Wth? Allison was fine - maybe even a teensy bit more thorough than Bridget has been: she told me to close my eyes (to check eyelid skin) and felt all my lymph nodes. STILL, I'm NOT happy with the appointment error and the lack of communication by the receptionist. read more

Jose told me to just sit down, extremely rude to me, only when I noticed that there was 4 phlebotomist working there; I asked why are we still waiting when there was no one waiting and there was 4 phlebotomist working there? He was so rude to me ; and when we were walking away he was laughing. I've never had such a rude phlebotomist before. read more

Called to get an appointment with Dr. Bergrann & was put on hold for 9 minutes. Then they say her next appointment is late Jan 2018 and it's mid May 2017. Are you kidding me? We've seen her for years, but never actually seen her in years -it's always a random physician assistant visit. You'll hear: the PA's are as qualified as the doctor. The truth: Board Certified physicians ARE NOT even close to a 2 year PA degree. You'll hear: well, these are specialists so they book out. The truth: Nope. I've called on over 200 doctors a month for my job and there a specialists in dermatology that don't work half days or cut out early on Fridays like this practice so they can be available to their established patients. If you have any kind of skin infection, even acne, don't see this one if you want it treated in a timely fashion. read more

I feel this office is only about making money. I went two times to get one small spot zapped and it didn't even budge. $100 the first time. They said I may need a follow up. However, they don't say that a follow up means you keep paying full price. I complained and they charged me less. I had the same spot zapped again and again there was no improvement. I went to another dr and they zapped it and it is gone!!! And it was half the price!!! I feel they just want to have you keep coming and paying. I have heard the same story happen to at least three people I know. Though the staff is very very nice and the dr is super nice I cancelled my appointment and wouldn't go back to this office for anything. I don't feel they truly put their effort in resolving why patients are there, but to make buck! It's very disappointing! read more

A friend of mine and her mom both told me about Dr. Herrmann for Botox so after 5 months of shopping around I finally took the plunge! Dr. Herrmann and his assistant Jackie, took the time to truly listen to my concerns and my budget when I was deciding which cosmetic procedure I wanted for facial rejuvenation. Turned out Chemical peels would not give me the instant younger/softer look I wanted so I went with Botox. I had it in my forehead and around my eyes to eliminate my crows feet. After 5 days everything was smoother/softer and I feel better, look younger and not so tired. I would highly recommend him to anyone for cosmetic treatment and have been. I'm a little late with this review. Visited about 8 or 9 months ago with my daughter for acne that was not getting better with traditional otc stuff. Office is fine, reception is fine. The male physician we saw had a female assistant with him and they were just kind of rude. Not outwardly, but it seemed like we weren't in on an inside joke or something. When they finally left, my 15 y/o said, "that was weird." Really just felt like we were kind of an annoyance in their day or something, and they'd rather be somewhere else. Anyway, I won't be going back because it was just too odd. Not to mention, the 2 prescriptions she took made the problem 100% worse. Her face was shiny and peeling. I think it was way too strong/harsh for someone who has never used anything. She stopped, and were back to otc again. read more

I did a LOT of research before choosing Dr. Herrmann from Dermatology Institute of Dupage Medical Group to inject Juvederm in my "marionette lines" and at the side of my lips. After losing 60 pounds it seemed like my face "deflated" leaving lines I didn't want! I was apprehensive about facial fillers, but Dr. Herrmann explained everything to me and gave me different options. I chose the Juvederm and am so happy with the result! If you are contemplating this option to minimize your wrinkles, go to Dr. Herrmann. I don't think it's obvious that I had any "work done"! My face just looks fresher and a little younger! read more

Dr Berggren always gives you ample time and attention; however, I feel she pushes cosmetic procedures with no emphasis on prevention or regular skin care. I had a suspicious mole and she took a biopsy. Turned out normal, but she's NEVER suggested an overall skin check. Also, she doesn't really focus when performing cosmetic procedures and goes too fast; resulting in a poor outcome. read more

Dr. Conrad is great. He is professional, thorough, and caring. I've had my bad share of dermatology visits elsewhere and I'm so glad to have visited Dupage Medical Group. All of the staff was very helpful and friendly. The office itself is well kept and clean. I shared my past experiences with what I feel works and does not work for me and Dr. Conrad really listened to me and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole visit. It's really hard to find a doctor that will take the time to listen to you these days, at least in my experiences. You'll never have to worry about that with Dr. Conrad. I went to the Dermatology Institute of DuPage Medical Group and saw Chelsy Kimes, PA-C for my annual skin/mole check. I had a couple moles that were kind of bothersome and she said that I could have them removed and that my insurance would cover it. I told her that I didn't want to do anything dishonest, so as long as it was "above board" then yes, I wanted them removed. Well... a couple weeks later I received a bill in the mail for $180! My insurance did not cover the procedure, and when I called the office they refused to do anything about it even though it would have been much easier for them to pay $180 than for my family to come up with the extra cash. read more

I recently had an annual skin exam with Bridget Padgett, and would highly recommend her! She was extremely kind, warm, and thorough - listened to all of my concerns and provided immediate solutions. Amazing bedside manner, I felt very comfortable the entire time. All of my skin concerns were addressed in the same visit, and I was able scheduled a follow up procedure with Dr.Herrmann for a later date. I had an appointment with Chelsy Kimes, PA-C and could not be more satisfied with her level of care. It was easy to get an appointment, she really listened to my struggle with acne, cared about my past medical history, and took the time to describe different treatment options that she felt would work for my type of acne. She was thorough, compassionate and professional. I've finally seen improvement in my acne and haven't seen my skin this clear for years. I have been going here for about 2 years. I received many recommendations to Dr Herrmann from several woman in the area. I started out seeing Bridgett (PA) for acne. She is super sweet and took care of my problem and monitored me closely over the year to ensure my cystic acne was completely under control. We discussed further treatment to now take care of the horrible scarring it had left me. She referred me to Dr Herrmann for this. Dr Herrmann recommended I do Bellafil injections for my scars. I could not be happier with the results!! I'm going back for my second treatment in a few weeks. For anyone who has dealt with this type of problem this is 100% the doctor to see. I am not one of those people that normally write reviews either. I was so happy with how I was treated by him and his entire staff. I felt as if they were just as excited as me to see the results.
