The Dump Guy and their crew have come to my house several times to pick up "crap" - from mattresses to brush and everything in between. Each, and every time, they have the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Additionally, this past time, we had A LOT of stuff to go. I spoke to Josh and he was tremendous! He was able to get Adam out to my house THAT DAY to give me a cost estimate of how much everything would be. Adam was prompt and I was able to schedule the pickup for the VERY NEXT DAY. Now, how often does that happen these days?! Not to mention, they called me AFTER the service to ask how it was and I told them that a box spring had been missed. Not a big deal really. Voila - one hour later and the box spring is picked up and taken AT NO EXTRA CHARGE. (It was included in the original quote). I can't recommend this company and these guys enough! After experiencing mold in our basement family room, we needed to move all of the contents of that room to a storage container in our driveway. After cleaning and remodeling that room we needed to move everything back. We called the Dump Guy on both occasions because we could not lift the heavy objects and boxes ourselves and we could not have been more pleased with the help they provided. Although it was a nontraditional use of their services, they were happy to help. It was easy to schedule their arrival and they arrived promptly. They accomplished in minutes what would have taken us hours to do ( if we could have done it at all). The guys that helped us were pleasant and wanted to help in any way they could. An added plus was that there was some things we wanted to get rid of and they took that with them when they left. We are finally settled in our new crib and the old place is completely empty, thanks to an outfit out of Scarborough called THE DUMP GUY. I can't possibly sing their praises enough and would recommend their service to anyone. Two young brutes made of nothing but raw muscle showed up yesterday on our last day to purge and within 35 minutes had three broken dryers, bulky archaic computer monitors, a futon and a two ton mattress, an old recliner, bureaus, chairs and other heavy furniture items, several large air conditioners, a set of cupboards and what seemed like a dozen huge jam-packed contractor bags loaded into a trailer. They piled it high and covered all that shit with a net tarp, we paid them a waaay more than fair price and off into the sunset they drove with us waving good-bye. Great Service, very professional, very prompt, fair pricing, fast workers. I had a mountain of junk/construction debris that had been piling up over the last year or so in my barn. I called on a Monday at 8:30 am, the truck showed up at 10:30 am, and they were all done by noon. Ryan was the Dump Guy that did my job (they have many trucks and employees), he was very efficient at packing his trailer, it was like he was playing junk Tetris, making every piece fit just right. The original quote he gave me ended up being too high and the final price was almost HALF of the original quote. I guess he's better at stuffing that trailer than he thought! These guys are fantastic! We needed to clean out my father-in-law's house prior to selling it. After 58 years, he had the garage and basement packed with stuff - and I mean packed. The crew showed up at 8am, saw what faced them and immediately called their office for support. To insure the job got done that same day, they called in 3 more crews. These guys are legit. I was at the gas station in south portland one day and one of their foreman was picking up some smokes and a scratch ticket. I think his name was Rex or Rez(spelling sorry!). While standing in line I asked him some questions and he had no hesitation to be courteous and he even helped me get a pickup scheduled. These guys are great! Got rid of an old hot tub for us which was tucked under a deck area with no easy way out. Had to be taken out in pieces which they made short work of. 4 men in all worked on it and all were really friendly and pleasant, and they cleaned up so well afterward too, sweeping up all of the little stray pieces. They arrived on time and had everything removed that I wanted from the basement in less than 90 minutes.
