Easy on-line scheduling of the appointment, $25 credit for on-line scheduling, and three cheerful guys (headed up by Lucien) show up EARLY!! What's not to like? Compared to "Major Brand XX" these folks offer much better pricing, show you the pricing on their website right up front (based on your estimate of the % of a full truck you will use), and do a much better job of loading the stuff on the truck (saving you money in the end). This company was great. We have used 1800GotJunk before and while they were very efficient and nice to work with, their prices seems a little high. I didn't realize until a bit of Google searching that there are many other local companies which provide the same service for less. I was very happy with Dump It's efficiency and their effort to try to get everything into the smallest part of the truck in order to charge the least amount possible. I would have given 5 stars except the guy picking up my junk tried to upcharge me because he said that construction debris was a higher price than what it said on the website. I looked at the site again while I was on the phone with him and told him there was nothing on the site that said there was any different rate for different types of junk. He quickly said he would give me the lower price. I did not appreciate him trying to get an additional $100.00 out of me. Had I not done my homework I may have just paid. I wonder how many people that he tries that on and they don't question him and they make a quick $100 extra. The pick up went well I will say that. They left the area clean as advertised. I would recommend them for their service but caution customers to watch out for the upcharge and don't let them charge you for anything that is not on their site. read more

These folks are awesome! Came out on short notice, gave us a quote on the spot, started working immediately. It took them less than hour to fill a whole truck...don't know how they fit it all in! 3rd time is a charm....Let me explain. I called two other companies before calling Dump It. I wish I would have called them first. I needed an old Sofa, a Big screen TV (The big clunker ones that are 400lbs) and some carpeting that I removed that had to be dumped out. I called 1-800-Got Junk... (They should be called 1 800-GET SCAMMED), I Spend 20 minutes on the phone and I was still confused about their pricing, I couldn't figure out if they wanted to charge me for getting rid of my junk or removing one of my Kidneys... The amount they wanted to charge was outrageous. Plus the person I spoke to on the phone was very rude, as if I was wasting his time....Then I called another company (don't recall the name) though they were reasonably priced, I had to wait for a whole week for them to come out....So then I finally called Dump It Junk Removal. I spoke to a man named Gus, who was very friendly and professional. Gus explained how their pricing and services work in detail. After giving me a quick estimated quote based on what I told him I had to get rid of, Gus said that he would set me up for free estimate appointment the very next morning, between 9am and 10am. Gus explained that after the estimate, if I was satisfied with the pricing, they would do the work right there and then. Sure enough the very next morning at 9am sharp, a red Dump It Junk Removal truck pulled up to my driveway and two beefy looking men, in uniform, walked up to my door. They introduced themselves (Mike and Bronnie). Before they walked into my house, Mike offered to take their shoes off first...I was very impressed that they even asked. Though it was unnecessary I appreciated the gesture. Mike looked at the items that I pointed out that I wanted them to remove, and what he quoted was pretty much on point with what Gus said on the phone, not only was the price reasonable, up front, and fair, it beat the other two companies that I originally called first. Mike and Bronnie were very careful, not to damage my walls, floors, or anything else. They didn't just toss the sofa or TV either, they placed it in their truck carefully and mentioned if items can be donated, they would try to donate them first. I was happy to hear that! I had a bunch of other random things I wanted to get rid of and since these guys were so friendly and the price was so great, I wanted to keep them around as long as possible, but they moved quickly, so I ran out of junk to get rid of very quickly. The price they quoted was the price I paid, no hidden fees, or random charges. I was so impressed with these guys I gave them a well deserved tip! They worked hard and fast and were extremely careful. I asked them if they can take my wife too...apparently they don't take HAZMAT materials... All in all I was very very impressed with the service, professionalism, cleanliness, and most of all fair pricing. Mike and Bronnie were very friendly, courteous, considerate (thank you for offering to take off your shoes), and accommodating. I cannot wait to use these guys again.
