This is family owned and feels very family oriented. Food is delicious and carefully made. Service is courteous and friendly by the owner. I had the beef fried noodles and their famous coleslaw and they were both delicious!

Saw someone reviewing this place on tiktok. So I decided to give them a try. And i'm glad I did. I ordered some pork and cabbage dumplings to go along with a lamb bone broth soup with glass noodles. While I was waiting, I talked to the owner. She told me that they are one of the few places in the area that make their own dumplings . They have an open kitchen which I think is great. You can actually see your food being prepared. The dumplings were crispy on one side and soft, on the other with a delicious juicy, meaty filling. I also enjoyed the noodles, especially the broth. It had a rich deep flavor. Their menu is limited and they really focus on quality ingredients. If you're in the area, I highly recommend you check this place out.

After many recommendations, I decided to stop by and try the dumplings. Everything was delicious. I've never had cold potato salad like that, but the dressing that it was in was phenomenal. The pan fried beef noodle were delicious. I wish they had a little bit more sauce but all in all they were fabulous. I liked the dumplings a lot. I won't say love because I think they need to tweak the size of the Dumpling just a little bit or maybe it's because we had them so fresh but every single person in my party who been into it either got burned by the hot juice squirting out or went all over their clothes. We saw another guest, cutting them open and eating them that way, which kind of makes sense because if not you make a mess. I would suggest the Dumpling rapper maybe be just a little bit bigger because the juice is awesome. We will definitely be back. The chili oil was very different. I can't tell if there was like a little bit of sugar in there or something, but it was delicious. There is no indoor seating only outdoor seating. I believe it's a More order and go home type of place. There's still a few few items. We really wanna try, but we didn't get a chance next time we will try it.

Authentic, homemade, delicious. This hole-in-the wall located on the edge of Sunrise and Weston offers some of the best homemade dumplings I've ever had. Service was very friendly and everything we tried was fantastic. We got a potato salad on the house (show some love and tip!), pan fried beef dumplings, and beef soup with rice noodles. The beef soup was really fantastic. We cleared the whole things. The beef was tender, the broth was flavorful and homey, and the noodles had a perfect chew. The beef dumplings were also amazing. Perfectly pan fried and the right balance of dough and meat filled inside. Plus, the potato salad was yummy with a little spice. Don't be deceived by the small size of this restaurant because it is full of flavor.

WOW! We are so lucky to have a gem like this in Weston! These dumplings are so good! I tried the fried pork and steamed beef dumplings--10/10! The side of the cucumber salad was also tasty. The family runs this establishment was kind and friendly! Give this place a try if you're in the neighborhood!!

Coming from a native new yorker who is obsessed with Chinatown and wonton garden! This place is hands down the best dumplings I tasted in south florida. I ordered an hour before closing for pick up. The customer service was amazing. As soon as I got home and opened up the dumplings they were still steaming! They were absolutely delicious and taste authentic. They were extremely flavorful and filled with juices that packed a delicious punch. They offered sauces on the side but honestly the dumplings is amazing with and without it! The place was very clean and well kept. It felt very homey and everyone was welcoming and friendly. Will be coming again!!

We've been going ever since they opened...Found it by surprise and happy we did. They had some difficulties in the beginning because they were new and social media spread the word faster than they anticipated, but that's a good problem...Nicest family and delicious food! Hidden gem for sure!

If you're looking for real dumplings in Weston, stop what you're doing and go here immediately. It's incredibly rare to find a truly authentic, family-owned spot like this around here, and this place is the real deal. The moment you walk in, you can literally see one woman carefully rolling the dough for the dumplings by hand while another person is cooking them fresh. And you can taste the difference. The dumplings were absolutely fantastic!!! Every bite tasted fresh and homemade. The best Chinese food I've had. It doesn't feel like the heavy unhealthy take out either!! In an area filled with chain restaurants and watered-down "fusion" spots, finding a place like this is special. You can feel the care and pride that goes into the food, and that's something you just can't fake. I will 100% be coming back. If you love authentic food and want dumplings made the way they should be this place is a must. Weston needed this spot.

This is strictly a takeout restaurant, there are no dining tables, just a counter to place your order and a small bench inside if you need to wait. Honestly, I kind of appreciate the lack of ambiance because those little hole in the wall spots often end up serving some of the best food. The woman who took my order was so warm and welcoming. The menu features all of the American Chinese favorites you would expect, including soups, appetizers, chow mein, lo mein, fried rice, egg foo young, sweet and sour dishes, chicken, roast pork, beef, seafood, and several house specialties. They also offer a lunch special, which includes your choice of entrée, pork fried rice, and wonton soup. For just a little extra, I added a couple of egg rolls. I ordered the honey garlic chicken, beef and broccoli, and chicken lo mein. Everything was packed up with plenty of sauces, crispy fried noodles, and fortune cookies. The food was fresh with generous portions. We enjoyed everything we tried, and there was more than enough left over for another meal later. Combined with the friendly service and reasonable prices, Jan Mei Chinese is a great option when you're craving comfort Chinese takeout. If I'm in the area and looking for another quick meal, I would happily return.

Another place where the crab Rangoon is packed with cheese and nothing else, but at least the price reflects that here. I ordered the honey garlic, lemon pepper wings. They were highly disappointing. I didn't taste the lemon pepper and they weren't as crispy as I would have liked them to be, even though I asked for well done. The rice was even more disappointing. I paid extra for shrimp and it literally came 4 shrimp. Small shrimp at that. The rice taste burnt, and it had this gas flavor burned into it. Anyways, money down the drain I threw most of it away.

One Star -- The Worst Chinese Restaurant Experience I Have Ever Had…read more I had an extremely disappointing lunch at Toa Toa Dim Sum & Seafood. My meal cost $62.96, but the food quality and the owner's response were completely unacceptable. The waitress recommended the stir-fried conch ($34.99). It was tasteless and so chewy that it felt like eating rubber bands. The green vegetables served with it were extremely tough and almost impossible to chew. I explained the problem to the owner. To my surprise, he admitted that he already knew about it. I asked him why he would continue serving a dish that he knew had a problem and could barely be eaten. He simply smiled. There was no apology, no expression of regret, no discount, and no offer to replace the dish. The pork buns ($6.95) were extremely dry. The steamed shrimp dumplings ($6.95) fell apart as soon as I picked one up with my chopsticks because the wrappers were breaking. When I mentioned this, the owner told me that I could not compare his food with food in Hong Kong. I was not expecting the highest Hong Kong standards--I was simply expecting basic quality from a Chinese restaurant. The final dish, steamed vegetables with oyster sauce, was badly overcooked. The owner said that he had taken over the restaurant about a month ago, although Toa Toa has been here for several years. Based on this experience, I believe the food has become even worse under the new ownership. Every dish I ordered had a quality problem, and the owner's dismissive response made the experience even worse. I left feeling that I had completely wasted $62.96. Even if this food were free, I would not want to eat it again. This was the worst Chinese restaurant experience I have ever had. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

Everything arrived within 40 min, still hot. I ordered a ramen broth, an order of tempura shrimp along with the spicy yaki udon. The udon was not spicy at all, but very delicious. Not sure why it's referred to as "spicy", there was not a single sight of red or green chilies. I would have loved for it to have a kick of spice, but nevertheless, still delicious. The appetizer shrimp a fail, they did feel a bit chewy/ rubbery, and dry. This was not my favorite. The hot ramen broth was soothing and on a cool day like today, well worth it. I wish that my order had arrived with chopsticks, or some type of utensils. None were provided, not even napkins. And I was a little disappointed that no sauces were provided, not even for the noodles. Often times some oriental places will provide siracha or some type of chill sauce. Perhaps this places does not offer those condiments? I wish that I could have given this a 4, even 5 star, but ordering from a food service one would hope the meal arrived with at least chopsticks, or some napkins. If I visit the restaurant in person, I'll be sure to update my review then.
