5/5!!! This hot pot place is fairly simple, you go to the counter grab a bowl and tongs, add your protein, veggies, seafood items, noodles, etc. Take it the counter, they will weigh it and it starts at $14.99 lb. Then you will be asked to choose your broth, I went with the beef broth and you get to choose your spice levels, I did mild and there was still a kick. But my spice levels are very low haha. We saw different bowl sizes depending on how many options you have in your bowl. Ambiance: Plenty of parking spaces. Staff is so nice and greets you when you walk in and are there to guide you. Clean and spacious, bathrooms are clean. Tables always wiped down. Definitely a place where you dine there, not so much for a to go but we did see a lot of to go orders. We came on a good day because it was the first day they were staring the free icecream! So, after you finish your meal, you may ask for an icecream (vanilla, coffee, or chocolate). Everything was delicious overall. I will definitely be back to try their other broths.

This place was great, and the food was delicious. And the bone broth was fire. Service was great, and I would come back here to eat another 2.64lbs of soup again.

One of the best food by the pound spot hot pot edition. Are you craving something soupy but don't know what you want? Come try YGF Malatang. Upon entering the restaurant you will see a wide variety of ingredients to choose from and you simply grab a bowl and start adding ingredients you want into it. When you reach the end of the line, the cashier will weigh your bowl and depending on the weight, you can end up paying $14 or $60 or more. They have protein, seafood, mushrooms, vegetables, fish balls, and noodles of all kinds. If you haven't been here already just go. We love their spicy broth extra spicy. The kitchen chef in the back will cook all the ingredients in your bowl and will be brought back out to you. Don't worry if you don't finish, they have togo containers that you can take your food with. This place offers plenty of parking spaces for free. Conveniently located in a plaza that have other stores you can check out

YGF Malatang was such a delight! I love any place that allows me to customize what I get, and YGF had a great selection of fresh ingredients. I think the only downside here is choice paralysis - my eyes were definitely bigger than my stomach. They do offer takeout bowls though, so if you get too much you can always bring it home. I got a bunch of things - sliced lamb, fish balls, chikuwa, frozen tofu, krab stick, wood ear, pumpkin, lotus root, bok choy, enoki, dumplings, vermicelli, cilantro.... I'm probably forgetting things, but every single ingredient was tasty. In particular, I liked that the lamb wasn't gamey or chewy, the dumplings had a nice leek flavor, and the wood ears had that perfect chewy crunch. I got it all in the curry broth, which is definitely not spicy like the menu said but delicious nonetheless. Altogether, my bowl was around $17 after weighing. I added on a jasmine green tea too, which was the perfect floral, slightly sweet companion to the soup. The inside is super clean and has way more seating than you'd expect from the outside. Staff were very helpful, explaining how ordering works and the different menu options. I'm so glad that we're finally getting more of these sort of fast/casual Asian restaurants in Broward. Definitely planning to add this place to my regular rotation.

The concept of malatang is very interesting -- it's great for those who don't do buffets well but still crave hot pot. Though, I'll start off by saying that the price is pretty steep for a one-time customized soup... and you're better off paying the few extra dollars for All-You-Can-Eat. So yes, if you have a smaller appetite, this is the hot pot spot for you! Service was good and staff was very attentive. It's also very clean and tidy. I loved the selection. Even the mini sauce bar was a nice touch. I'd come back to see if they'll have more broth options and toppings. I also want to try their ala carte appetizers/snacks.

Clean restaurant, fast service, good selection of fresh ingredients and a comforting meal for a cold night. If you've never had malatang, it's similar to Chinese hot pot except they cook all your ingredients for you and bring it out ready to eat in the broth instead of you cooking and eating as you go at the table. They charge by weight and there's a minimum of 0.8 lbs. There was plenty of options including beef, lamb, pork slices and several seafood choices and fish balls. Lots of vegetables including lotus root and frozen tofu plus a variety of noodles. There are also more adventurous options like pork blood, tripe and intestines. The broth options were a little limited and they didn't have the spidy mala option available this visit. I opted for the beef bone broth option mild spice. It was rich, very flavorful and went well with my ingredients. The staff is friendly and fast.

I'm truly so ecstatic that this chain is now in South Florida. I've had a couple of YGFs throughout SoCal and I can say that the quality here is up to par with those locations. They offer the classic broths as well as the dry Malatang option. There's a lot of umami in the broths. They also offer a couple of different appetizers, including the fried pork which is my favorite. They also have a couple of desserts available that aren't too sweet. The rice cake is very nice and chewy. The toppings bar is very clean and organized. Everything was labeled appropriately. They have a self service sauce and water bar. Don't be fooled, I don't think that spicy is tear jerking spicy. It's very flavorful and more "mala" as in it doesn't punch you in the face. It's conveniently located in a plaza with lots of parking.

I often crave hot pot but just can't justify the "all you can eat" price point when I know I won't eat more than 1 bowl. This was perfect in terms of portion because you have full control over how much protein, carb, and vegetable you get. It's self service the whole way, you pick up a bowl and start picking toppings. Definitely tempting to fill up the bowl because it's so big but I only filled up a quarter of the way and still got a full bowl of hot pot. Then you have a bonus build your own sauce bar. You pick your broth base at the register, I went with curry which is spicy and salty. Next time I'm looking forward to trying the beef broth. I enjoyed how casual the place was, there were a lot of families and the place was filled with people having a good time. In total I spent about $13 and left a little tip on top of that, so you'll leave feeling full and like you didn't break the bank.

From the outside, the place looks pretty underwhelming, but when you walk in, it's adorable. The atmosphere is super modern with Asian touches and super clean. The concept is to build your own ramen bowl. Upon entering, you grab a bowl and add all the ingredients you want, and at the end, weigh it to determine the price. At the register, you choose the flavor of the soup base. They also have a few appetizer options, which I didn't try. My daughter and I's ramen, along with two sodas, came to $35.42, with an 18% tip included. The staff was very friendly and explained how everything works. This will definitely become a regular stop for me and my daughter.

Quickly rose to one of our favorite soup spots! We love the weigh and pay concept. They have lots of soup fixings to choose from and a sauce bar to perfect your dining experience.

YGF Malatang is a fun change-up if you're into hot pot but don't always want the full sit-down production. The place is clean, quick, and the "build-your-own-bowl" setup makes it easy to grab exactly what you're craving--no fighting over who dropped the fish ball in the pot. The broth was OK without blowing your head off, and the ingredients are fresh, especially the veggies and sliced beef. That said, I'm still a sucker for the old-school experience--slow simmering, everyone cooking together, and the whole table hanging out around one pot. YGF feels more modern and grab-and-go, but in a good way. If you want something tasty, customizable, and spicy without committing to a long meal, this spot delivers. Certainly a good spot if your in the mood for something fast and flavorful.

This is where Chipotle meets hotpot in a new twist. Select the food that's weighed by the pound. Select soup base, and wait for deliciousness. We are due for a place like this in South Florida. Ambiance is festive, giant family style. The staff is authentically helpful. They will do well.

So excited to have a hot pot place like this so close! The restaurant is very clean, staff were so nice and helpful and of course....the food was fantastic! They have a great selection of meats, vegetables, dumplings, etc. (all the usual hot pot stuff) and the price is super reasonable. They definitely don't skimp on the broth so you will definitely be full. We already have some good hot pot places around here but they're all unlimited/AYCE and they're pricey so this is a great choice if you don't feel like spending that much money but wanna fill up on delicious hot pot. I'll definitely be back!

There was a large group (a party of some sorts) and a lot of great singers; and so many people jumped up to dance along with many of the songs. We tried a couple of varieties of the peruvian classic drink, Pisco Sour... once traditional and one with a mango twist. They were very good (not my thing but very good for what they are). I received my dish first, but it took about 10 more minutes for the person I was dining with to get theirs. I also noticed the same thing happening at a few tables around us, so it seems like the kitchen was running a little behind that day. Now, the food itself? Delicious. I ordered the shrimp ceviche, which was fresh and flavorful, and the filet mignon lomo saltado. The steak was a bit tough to chew, but the flavor of the sauce was spot on and really well seasoned. Overall, despite the slight delay with the dishes, I enjoyed the meal and would come back to try more. Their Peruvian-Asian fusion options sound especially interesting, and I'd love to explore more of the menu.

I had a great time the first time, and yep it's still that girl. Let's talk about the vibe real quick. The ambiance is everything. Modern, and just really well put together. From the furniture textures to the contrast in colors it all feels super intentional but still chill. Like, they knew what they were doing when they designed this place. 10/10 on the setting alone. Let's get down to the items shall we? What We Had Drinks ____________________ + Naori Signature Drink ($15) : 8.4/10 This one's made with Pisco Berries and Triple Sec. It's a layered, fruity cocktail that's a little more complex. Personally, I prefer the Pisco Sour it's cleaner and more balanced for my taste. But if you like citrusy and berry-forward drinks, you might love this one. Again, these are my reviews based on my taste buds. You might feel differently and that's ok honey. + Espresso Martini ($16) : 9/10 Strong, chocolatey, and gets the job done. + Lychee Martini ($16) : 8.6/10 Clean and balanced. Not too sweet, just smooth and refreshing + Pisco Sour ($16) : 10/10 My fave. Fruity, with this nice cold foam on top. Pretty sure there were peach or passionfruit notes in there. So good. * Shots - We also did a round (Don Julio, I think), and it kept the vibe going. Appetizers/Entrees __________________ +Nikkei Tiradito ($19) : 10/10 Thin tuna slices with a shouyu sauce that had a little citrusy kick. I could've had another plate just for myself. +Grilled Octopus ($20) : 8.4/10 This was good! Cooked well, had a nice char. Not my favorite thing on the table, but still strong comes with Peruvian corn and potato. +Arroz Chaufa Special ($24) : 10/10 Babyyy this dish was everything. Wok-fried rice, perfectly seasoned. That filet was so tender, and the shrimp just brought it all together. Easy standing ovation for me. * Dessert - I honestly can't remember what we ordered for dessert, but it was decent. Nothing crazy. I'd give it a 7/10. Overall Experience: 10/10 Customer Service: 10/10 Would I Be Back? Without a doubt. I even told my mom about this place and I think she went a couple months ago! First impressions were great. But as I approached the buffet, I noticed a strong smell that made me hesitate -- I wish I had trusted my instincts. Unfortunately, the food confirmed my concern. The fried items all had an unpleasant, stale oil taste. I sampled a variety of dishes -- chicken, pork, beef -- and most were overcooked, rubbery, and lacking freshness. The soups (egg drop and hot and sour) also tasted "off," so I didn't feel comfortable eating them. In the end, the watermelon was the only thing I really enjoyed, and I had several wedges just to fill up. For comparison, my go-to buffet is Hibachi Buffet at Hillsboro & Powerline, which is consistently excellent with fresh food and friendly service. This place, sadly, was the opposite experience. I will say, the woman taking care of the tables was very nice -- attentive, thorough, and considerate. She was a bright spot in an otherwise disappointing visit, and my comments about the food are in no way a reflection of her efforts. So, I just want to clarify because, I see check marks (that I didn't create in this review, they just came about on their own) just the food is bad, NOT the ambiance or service... Bottom line: Beautiful dining room, but the food quality and taste were a big letdown. As much as I appreciate good service, I won't be returning.
