The owner acknowledged the damage, and there were ongoing discussions about resolving it, but the matter was never resolved. Because of this, I filed a claim in Nassau County Small Claims Court. After reviewing the evidence, the court entered a judgment in my favor for the full value of the coat. Following the hearing, the owner approached me and attempted to hug me, which I found inappropriate and uncomfortable given the circumstances. Further to this, he demanded an apology for writing this review and left me a text message and voicemail with threats to sue me for writing this review. After nearly a month, he finally paid the summary judgement.

They're are a such sweet couple and have fantastic customer service!! They tried to find a button for my jacket, steamed my dress shirt one day for me in 10 minutes bc I don't like any wrinkles when I go to work:) I also have a very busy life and sometimes forget things, they remind me so kindly. They work so hard and take pride in their business, and have fantastic prices. They are clean and get all my food stains (from work like ketchup coffee etc.) out of my clothes. Prices however do change. Roxy does a discount if you pay cash up front. Most of the time my clothes come back with the stains removed. Since I have used this place so much - once in a blue moon they may miss a spot. The turn around is a couple days or you could pay extra for rush delivery. Roxy is friendly and works with you. As for tailoring - they are okay. I wouldn't recommend brining any expensive jackets or clothes here for alterations. Make sure they cover the jacket buttons when you bring expensive clothes suits and jackets here!!! Overall: A good dry cleaning service. Nice turn around and friendly service. Bring clothes to be tailored to a professional.

Trust has been compromised and I can't support a business that engages in these kinds of scams, then lies to cover it up.
