I'm a student and I've been looking for an old truck for a few months now... I went in to see Sean at Duncan Motors and asked him about the old F-250 in the lot. He was professional and nice, and let me take it for a test drive. The reason for 5 Stars: AFTER I purchased the truck, Sean rode with me to help put some gas in it, and because we weren't sure about the battery, he rode with me to purchase a new battery near the dealership, which we split the cost of. Unfortunately, the employees at the battery dealership put the battery in backwards and fried a wire... Needless to say this was a stressful situation. Sean called his mechanic who was there within 10 minutes (after 4:00PM on a Saturday) who fixed the truck with a new wire. I've been driving around since with no problem, and Sean recently followed up with me to make sure I am happy with my purchase. Furthermore, he assured me that I could contact him in the future with any issues. This kind of service is special and why I would return to Duncan Motors if I was selling or buying another used car. My fiancé and I went in there to buy a car . We wanted a fast , easy process , we had money down and a trade . So after getting approved , we waited for them tell us when to pick the car up . So my first issue is lack of communication, staff was very rude , I had a vehicle with 99,000 miles on it with led lights valued and appraised at 2500, but the car I was purchase had 115,000 miles on it . So they never got back to me about my trade , then when I called them I was told my trade wasn't worth anything, I was spoken to with such disrespect and nasty and rude tone . Kept talking over me so I decided I wanted my money back . I was being treated as if i was the dealership and they were the customer . So I decided to take my business elsewhere. I don't recommend this places , cars are poorly kept , high miles and overpriced . read more

I bought a 2011 Toyota Tacoma from Duncan Motors 2 weeks ago and I have not had any problems. I saw the Tacoma on CarFax I was interested in at Duncan Motors. I live in the Lake Tahoe area and had to go to the bay area so I scheduled an appointment with Orlando. All went as good as I could have expected. I traded in my 2008 Tacoma and left with the 2011. I forgot a few personal items in my 2008 and Orlando took the extra step and shipped them to me. read more

Like the others who gave bad ratings, I agree all the owner wants to do is sell a warranty to bump up a price on a vehicle. We noticed a leak on the steering and of course they said they would fix it because he thought it was already done. Yeah right heard that line before. "It's in the mail." When we went to negotiate the price he said he wouldn't fix it if we would buy it for what he was asking. This tells me he sells lemons when he can get away with it. If you ever get the slimy sales man feeling from anyone it would be from Fred the owner. After trying to negotiate, he proceeded to tell us we should have negotiated before the test drive. Well who does that. Then he also didn't want us to take it on the freeway, probably because we would see it had steering issues. The whole time telling us how great of a car is and I'm great shape cosmetically. Then we noticed the rear tires were balding on the edges which tells me he probably only switched them from the front to the back due to the steering issues. The bottom line, the car was pretty but it ran ok but the suspension had issues. Again I agree with past postings, a snake with the only concern to sell warranties. read more

I wish I could give this place no star. First went there bought a Chrysler 300. The next day had to bring it back. Fred took it to the shop and had it for over a month, still wasn't fixed. So he gave me another car Infiniti G 35 and told me he would give me the same price and I got the other car. Later i found out he charged me another $2,000 for it and I didn't even know til after I send the paperwork. Now I have had this car 6 month and just found out the motor has a leak. And guess what the extend warrant I got does not cover.Also my key fob is broken and he had been promising for month that he would pay to fix it. It is still not fixed.
