It fits quite a good variety but you also can still navigate it quite easily and in a timely manner too if you do stop by on a lunch break or time crunch.

The owner is the only person I've ever seen working here. He is incredibly nice and I've seen him selections produce for elderly people who didn't want to get out of their vehicle. He's sent me home with extras that he needed to get rid of and couldn't sell for some reason. This is how I ended up with a giant bag of overly ripe bananas on him. I picked up a couple for banana bread and he just filled a giant bag and told me to give them away to my neighbors. The same day he also sent me home with half a dozen ears of corn and two super ripe avocados. In the past he's discounted a giant watermelon (and holy crap I think it's the best one I've ever consumed) because he had overstock and sent me home with 3/4 of a cantaloupe because he cut a bruised spot off of it. So, do I actually pay for things here? Yes, and they're super cheap. Often they're super delicious too. Yesterday I picked up 5 apples, 3 pears, a pile of non-overripe bananas, a pineapple, 2 tomatoes, and a jar of pear jam (no high fructose corn syrup in it, just FYI) for $13. Then he added all the stuff he had too much of. I think this guy has the best melons and pineapple around. Some of the produce is hit or miss. I went once and couldn't find any bananas and some of the apples were beaten up. You will not be able to fulfill all your grocery needs here or shop for super specific things, but it's not out of the way for me and I've been on a produce stand run lately. What I have picked up has been a good deal in addition to being tasty, and seriously, the owner is awesome. I rounded up to 5 stars just because of him.

I love checking out local markets, roadside stands, and small businesses whenever I can, so I finally made my way over. First thing I see when I pull up: $12.99 for a seeded watermelon. Listen... we're in Florida. I see people selling watermelons off the side of the road for $5-$6 all the time. The seedless ones were $8.99, which somehow made the seeded watermelon price even more surprising. Unless that $12.99 watermelon comes with a guarantee that it's going to be the sweetest, juiciest watermelon of my entire life, I just can't do it. Once I walked around, I was also surprised by the produce selection. I expected a much larger variety, especially for a farmers market. I actually stopped because I needed cabbage and don't remember seeing any. They DO have some really cool local products--grass-fed meats, seafood, juices, goat milk, soaps and other specialty items--and I definitely appreciate the emphasis on local products and supporting local businesses. It's a cute little market and clearly they have plenty of loyal customers because they seem to do very well. For me, though, the prices were just too high across the board. Even seeing bars of soap around $12.99 had me thinking about the goat milk soap I can pick up at the Safety Harbor Sunday Market instead. So this isn't really a "bad review." It's more of a not-for-me review. I've visited quite a few farmers markets and genuinely enjoy shopping local, but part of the appeal for me is finding good local products at reasonable prices. Let me start by saying that the food itself is actually good. The flavors are solid and you can tell the recipes are authentic Mediterranean dishes. If this review were based purely on the food, it would probably be decent. Unfortunately, a restaurant experience is not just about what ends up on the plate it's about service, value, and how customers are treated. That's where this place completely falls apart. First off, the service was extremely inattentive. From the moment we sat down, it felt like we were more of an inconvenience than paying customers. The waitresses seemed disinterested, barely checked on the table, and when we tried to ask questions about the menu or request anything simple, the attitude we got back was surprisingly rude and dismissive. It felt like they wanted us to order quickly, eat, and leave without asking for anything outside of the most basic transaction. One thing that really stood out was their refusal to substitute sides. At most restaurants, asking for a simple side swap is a completely normal request. Here, they flat-out refused with zero flexibility or willingness to accommodate. It came off as unnecessarily rigid and frankly pretty unfriendly. When customers are paying premium prices, a little accommodation should not be too much to ask. And speaking of mistakes they forgot my fries entirely. My meal arrived incomplete, and I had to point it out. Even then, it didn't feel like it was taken very seriously. No apology that felt genuine, no urgency to fix it, just a very casual reaction as if forgetting part of a meal was no big deal. When you're charging the prices they do, attention to detail should be the bare minimum. That brings me to the pricing, which honestly feels way too high for what you get. The food is good, but not nearly good enough to justify the price point when the service experience is this poor. There are plenty of Mediterranean restaurants where you can get equally good if not better food while actually being treated like a valued customer. Overall, the biggest takeaway from my visit is that good food alone doesn't make up for bad service. Restaurants succeed when they combine great meals with hospitality and basic respect for their customers. Unfortunately, that balance was completely missing here. Between the inattentive staff, the rude attitude toward simple requests, forgotten items like my fries, and the high prices, the experience left a pretty bad impression. I really wanted to like this place, but the service made it hard to justify coming back. There are too many good Mediterranean spots out there to spend money somewhere that treats customers like an afterthought.
