Jensen Bros Seafood sign across from whole foods grocery store.

Great fresh seafood. It is hard to tell which restaurant this is because the Jensen Bros Seafood sign hangs close to the fresh seafood market portion of the establishment, away from the restaurant portion. Seating seams limit compared to other restaurants in that area but the food is well worth it. Sampler was very good, the breaded scallops are excellent. The blackened grouper sandwich was one of my favorites so far. Great food!

Back for more fresh fish. This time Atlantic Salmon, Red Snapper and New England Cod. Love this place. Fresh fish and friendly service.

Jensen Brothers was one of my favorite - and most surprising - stops on a recent trip to Dunedin. We were looking for some fresh seafood to make dinner at home, and popped in on our way to check out a nearby brewery. O. M. G. The selection of seafood in this place was truly phenomenal. I've never seen anything quite like it - and I'm saying that as someone who was born and raised in Seattle, where fish markets are literally everywhere. They had what felt like every imaginable type of fish, shellfish, mollusk, and almost anything else that could be found in the sea. My only regret was I couldn't add a few weeks of homemade dinners onto my trip so I could try out some of their more interesting-sounding options. They also carry seafood-friendly spices, seasonings, and other accompaniments. And their prices were fabulous too!

Lobster Mac and cheese OMG! Just get it. Get two actually

OMG! Get the lobster Mac & cheese!!! This is not anything like you've had before.. forget that gooey, yellow mess you're imagining. This is big, thick pieces of lobster, pasta and a very very light sauce so as not to spoil the fresh taste! We bought one for home (approx 17.00), and it can feed four but tbh, this is SOOO good, we should've got two. I could just keep eating it. Beyond delicious, it's also not a heavy feeling dish just loved it! (See pic)

Fresh seafood market , where locals go. Area have some ..... trashs. People who have money's come . No have then .. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Yellow edge grouper is my new favorite. Drive from clearwater is more closer. Like 45 mins from st.pete ND ti. Take a drive and it's worth it. Friday is new fishes in weekly.

By far the best seafood we have had on our trip. This is a great spot. I strongly recommend the Blackened Grouper Sandwich and the Grilled Scallops Skewer! Great food, friendly service, and a cool local vibe a little off the beaten path from Clearwater.

That's changed since moving to the Gulf Coast of Florida, where the fish at the local restaurant today was probably swimming yesterday. My "go-to" seafood now is a grouper sandwich which I order blackened but NOT fried. I've sampled grouper sandwiches from many local dining establishments, but my favorite is from "Carvor's Fish House" A couple of important notes: 1) Carvor's is only open for LUNCH. Their hours vary, so you'll want to check the website, but they typically close at FIVE PM, with the last order accepted at FOUR PM. 2) Carvor's has NO inside dining The patio is tree-shaded with extra umbrellas but if it's really hot, you may be uncomfortable. 3) Carvor's has COUNTER SERVICE. You go inside, order your food and THEN go back outside and select a table. When your food is ready, a server will bring it to your table. 4) This is downtown Dunedin, and parking can occasionally be a challenge on Douglas Street, but FREE parking is available in the city parking garage across the street. Pictured is my "blackened grouper" sandwich. A refreshing change from the usual French fries is their homemade chilled tomato, cucumber and onion salad. Delish!

The next time, we went for lunch and they were out of some things that we initially ordered, but we ended up with a heating plate of fried things that kind of felt like bar food. It is a cute spot and I would probably try it again. I just did not think it lived anywhere near up to the hype that most locals give it.

It's a small outdoor market held Fridays and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in downtown Dunedin. Since I arrived right at opening, it was pretty quiet, which made it nice to walk around and browse the vendors. The market itself is on the smaller side, but it has a really charming feel and fits perfectly with Dunedin's quaint, walkable small-town vibe. The community atmosphere felt very friendly, and there were a variety of vendors selling food, local goods, and other items. I only had time for a quick visit this time but still ended up picking up a few things. Next time I plan to stay longer, try some of the food vendors, and explore more of the booths. I'll definitely be back and will update my review after a longer visit.
