Supporting the local community through making purchases in the area is something I try to do when I can. What better way to do it by buying a pork roll egg and cheese at Dunellen Bagel. You walk in and you definitely get the neighborhood feel. As I look at the menu and bagels, people come in from time to time to get their "usual" favorites from everything bagel with cream cheese to pork roll egg and cheese on the bagel of your choice. First impressions; the pork roll, egg and cheese was pretty good. I went with pumpernickel and them bread did have that fresh texture, the scrambled egg was also cooked well. Overall a good sandwhich. If you are ever in the area, youll want to pick up a dozen as I dod or maybe even go straight to the sandwhich menu.

My "breakfast sandwich" in its original, sad state.

Can't seem to figure out why people like this place so much. I guess it's because they make their own bagels, but I've had much better in-house bagels before. The sandwiches are overpriced for what you get. I ordered a pork roll, egg, and cheese on a bagel. I got the equivalent of one medium egg and one slice of pork roll on a mediocre bagel for $5, and they didn't even put my salt, pepper, and ketchup on it. The line was insane, so I'm sure one more bad review isn't going to affect their sales. But I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants an authentic New Jersey breakfast sandwich. I am disappointed and I won't be going back. There are much better options in the area.

Need I say more? Buy the bagels and go home for your butter and cream cheese

Food is usually good. Customer service always sucks. The workers take more Snapchat's together then they do customer orders.

The garlic and jalapeño cheddar bagels are dangerous. They are crunch on the outside and soft on the inside.

The line at the door was bananas. But after a 45-minute drive, I wasn't turning around. Pre-surgery gluttonous me was getting this sandwich. I stood in line for another 45 minutes -- plenty of time to decide on the signature cheesesteak. When I got to the register, they gave me the heads-up: $45 for the cheesesteak. At that point the only thing that could ruin it was if it wasn't good. I also grabbed a few extras -- the prosciutto balls (if you know, you know) and some Italian vanilla wafer cookies that are outstanding. Decision time: eat it in the parking lot, or drive 45 minutes home first? I chose to wait. The smell in the car the whole ride back was borderline sinful. Got home, washed up, unwrapped it -- and this thing was enormous, clearly not just chopped-up steak thrown on bread. First bite in, I knew I wasn't in Kansas anymore. It'll probably take me a few weeks to finish (it's that big), but I'm already planning my return trip. Bonus points: while we waited, they kept coming out with fresh hot cheese tortellini and handing out free samples to everyone in line. When I paid, they threw in a whole separate container of it too. For context -- I'm a Philly guy. I'll drive an hour and a half for a cheesesteak without blinking. This place is 45 minutes away and it's still worth it. That says everything. The space itself is bright, clean, and stacked with an incredible variety of Italian fare. Bring patience, bring an appetite, and run -- don't walk. You will not regret it. 5/5 stars. 544 NJ-35, Red Bank, NJ 07701 talierciosdeli.com IG/FB: @taliercios

Warning: going around lunchtime plan on waiting a half hour. It's so damn popular. They have over 60 varieties of sandwiches, heros, paninis with "cute" names. They obviously do home catering.
