I was in the area and saw online the promo for donut day - if you buy a drink then you get a free doughnut. This Dunkin' Donuts is in a plaza and does not have a drive-through. It is next to Little Caesars and Hamlin Pub. Inside was fine. They have a single stall bathroom and it was gross. Just very rundown inside. Staff greeted me and I ordered an iced macchiato with a pecan swirl syrup. He asked if that was all I wanted. I then brought up the free donut promotion and he said oh yes, what donut do you want. Took a few minutes for my drink to be made. I noticed the same staff who took my order, went around the counter and used his phone to take a picture of the donuts. I don't think he washed his hands after touching his phone to take a picture? The doughnut was fine. It did taste pretty fresh and fluffy. My drink was good, but the butter pecan swirl is very sweet. I got a small and it looks like they put three pumps in it. So next time I might just ask for one pump. Overall, the drink tasted balanced, besides the sweetness of the butter pecan syrup. read more

I placed a mobile order approximately 25 minutes before arriving at the store. When I walked in, there were no other customers inside, and several employees were standing behind the counter. However, my order had not yet been started. The pickup area only had printed tickets, and staff did not begin preparing my order until I approached the counter and gave my name. After checking in, I waited an additional five minutes. None of the three drinks had been prepared, the donut was available and the substitution I had selected had not been addressed. Meanwhile, employees began assisting a walk-in customer even though my order had already been placed 30 minutes earlier. Given that the purpose of mobile ordering is convenience and time efficiency, especially when on a tight schedule and given ample time, this was frustrating. I placed the order early because we were heading to a Disney on Ice show and needed to stay on time. Unfortunately, the delay defeated the purpose of ordering ahead. I ultimately cancelled the order and left. I understand that stores can be busy, but in this case there were no customers waiting, and the order had ample lead time. I hope management reviews how mobile orders are handled so they are prepared as intended. Since zero stars is not an option, I am leaving one star. read more

Ordered this morning and got my bag, they never called to let me know or told me before I had it in my hands that they were out of eggs and bagels, so instead of letting me know they gave me a bag full of hash browns. Okay updating my 3 star review to a 1 star review. They don't just mess up on orders and serve the wrong drinks and argue and try to tell you, that you ordered the wrong things although you get the same drink every-time.. This time they charged me twice for one meal. They said it didn't go through the first time. And I went to check my bank account and it went through twice. I came back and showed them the transaction. And they printed up the receipt and said if it goes through to come back and get a refund or get the same meal made. So sure enough it went through as in being charged twice. I come in and I'm denied a refund and I am denied a meal. And they try to tell me my bank made an era. Then they write me a note like sure the bank is going to believe that?! Forget it, I'll stop at Tim Hortons. These clowns don't know what they are doing. read more

Whenever I drop my daughter off at work nearby, we stop and get her breakfast on the way. The staff has been prompt and friendly at getting her sandwich, donut and drink each time. They're also quick to recognize her and say something when it's been a while since we've been in - it feels nice to be recognized and greeted by a friendly face :) I usually just get a hot chai, and that is perfection as well. When the sun comes in the window facing the counter though, LOOK OUT! Just kidding - no point in looking because you can't see anything, and neither can the poor person at the register. read more

So, yes, the coffee here is great! I can't deny that. However, the majority of the staff should be replaced in my opinion. What is a shame is the fact that the staff is unprofessional, slow, and acts as though you are doing a horrible thing by coming in and ordering. The body language is, "I was perfectly happy just hanging out until YOU came in." As a side note, there are a few people here who truly do understand customer service and are great! I am so disgusted with this place, each time I go my hatred grows for this location. I usually love Dunkin as their coffee is good to me. But this Dunkin' Donuts in Clarkston has the worst customer service. This past two visits in a row we have encountered the same worker and when we get home me and my family are unsatisfied. I do not mean to sound racist but they have hired the whole population of India in this Dunkin doughnuts. The Indian workers don't understand what the customer are saying, and the customers don't understand the workers. Let me tell you about my visits. Visit 1- my family and I went to Dunkin' Donuts and got three drinks. We went because we had a coupon/reward for a free hot chocolate with a purchase. However this worker Doesent understand her job and how to use this reward so we did not get our free hot chocolate and instead we had to pay for it. That's not the only thing, as I was ordering this Indian women was confused by some of my words such as vanilla, or ice. This grew annoying as I had to repeat my order like 10 times cause of her lack of English. Eventually, we got our drinks but to surprise, they got my drink wrong. Visit 2- we went to Dunkin doughnuts this time to get my sisters' boyfriends donuts. So we order 12 dozen donuts, hot coffee, and two iced lattes. However the worker we encountered last time was working the register so we ordered on those online tv things to avoid getting the wrong drink. And it worked we got our right drinks, but our donuts were taking along time. We waited for 20 minutes patiently, when the worker from visit one came up to us, "I'm sorry but we are out of all the donuts we ordered we only have ( gross donuts)". This was annoying as why couldent you tell us 20 minutes ago you dident have those donuts?!?!?! So my mom gets up "I want a refund". And this worker goes "I don't think we can refund it". Who can't refunds donuts? Clearly this worker dident know what she was doing. So my mom and her are talking for awhile, and once we get things settled we get the customer copy receipt. But this worker who has no idea was she is doing is saying we can't keep the receipt. Dude it's a flippen customer copy receipt what do you mean? And plus we need the receipt to make sure we get our refund. So my mom goes " I am keeping my receipt!!" And we leave. We were all mad because this worker has no idea what she is doing, the chat or service is so poor here, they need to fire this Indian girl. Not to name drop but the workers name is April. EVERYTIME we go there they are out of donuts. This last time I ordered on the app and when I got there they said they were out of the donuts I ordered and PAID FOR. Then the girl said she didn't know how to do a refund and would have the manager "call me". WTF! I have never seen a place with such poorly trained employees. Past visit the employees didn't know how to make a Chia tea that is on their menu. The service is always slow, they always mess up my order, one time my mom paid in cash and the girl gives her only part of her change back and shrugs and says "I ran out of change." So my mom didn't get the correct change back because they didn't have enough coins? Today my mom went in early in the morning, tried ordering a dozen donuts and there were hardly any behind the counter. She said "don't you have any raised frosted donuts?" Well, Siri tried to warn me. Asked for "donuts near me", Siri said it had a trash rating on yelp, are you sure? I said yes. 10:45am on a Saturday, went in with my daughter for a donut. I was greeted "good morning!" As soon as I opened the door. I found that to instantly perk me up. The music in the background was soft and pleasant. The dining area and counters were clean. Donut case was plentiful and the employees all had a welcoming smile on their face. I ordered a sandwich which was good and I ordered an ice coffee with caramel and cream. Continuing poor service and out of stock as usual. Every December I drive down to the Sashabaw Rd store from Genesee county for their 1 lb bags of coffee; they have a great sale 3/$20. As usual, they were out of the whole bean. It doesn't matter what day of the sale I come on, they rarely ever have enough supplies to handle their yearly sale. After searching through the shelves for whole bean, I waited for one of the clerks to be less busy and asked if they had any more. I got a "No", that's it, no suggestion of a store that might have some, no hint of when they might get more in, just a disinterested "No". Yeah, I know it's a crazy day for shopping, so I hesitated thinking if I should just give up and buy the ground coffee or drive farther to check another store. I left. However as I'm getting in my car, I see one of the 'busy' clerks standing in the door looking at me and typing on his phone! These idiots think I shop lifted a $6 bag of coffee?!?! I will NEVER waste my time at this store again. The Drayton Plains store had exactly what I wanted and they were cheerful and kind. As a recent transplant from New England, I was excited to find a Dunkin Donuts in the area. That excitement died quickly with the absolutely atrocious customer service. No greeting at all from the only person that seemed to be working there to the only customer in the store. She wasn't wearing a name tag but was wearing a ratty, unprofessional outfit. Not the usual DD apron I usually see folks wearing. It took about twice as long to get my basic coffee as usual and then it was just handed to me. I was never told my total and was not thanked for my tip. She never bothered saying thank you or have a nice day. Complete silence after she gave me my change. Rude and slow service. I can't say enough bad things about this location. To start, the employees are completely unprofessional. They yell the most ridiculous things, sing, and generally act like there aren't customers around. But there are, and we're all uncomfortable. There is no sense of order here either. People in line behind me are helped first, one time forgetting about my order completely until I asked if it was ready. Of course, no apology was given. Now, when I make my usual weekday morning trip, they are often out of all kinds of things. To have no bagels at 8:30 in the morning seems absurd to me. It's not the end of the day, so where is all of your product? I'd finally had it when I ordered an iced coffee, was served it, and wasn't told until I asked that they were out of straws. Out of straws? And why wasn't I told this BEFORE I ordered my drink? You're a coffee shop! You sell drinks! You need straws! Unbelievable. The owner of this store should be mortified by the operation he/she is running. I'm embarrassed for them. Oh, and if you're reading this Store Owner, your manager (or at least the girl I'm guessing is the manager) gives away all kinds of free stuff to guys she finds attractive.
