This Dunkin' Donuts literally stole our money. My fiancée and I ordered online. The workers said they couldn't find our order and we could order it again. The would not give us our money back or remake our order without paying for it all over again. The claimed the online orders went through corporate and they had no control. The workers told us we would have to request a refund from corporate and they couldn't refund us or remake our order. We will never come back. read more

Was beyond excited when we heard Dunkin was coming. So disappointed every time we got our donuts. We hadn't been since they opened because it didn't matter what time of day you went, you're sure to get donuts from the day before. Well, nothing has changed. Donuts are supposed to be made first thing in the morning. Any left over should be donated. If you can't do that, you shouldn't be in the donut business. As someone who used to be a daily dunkin drinker, the dunkin locations in Columbia are so disappointing and disgusting. Staff are extremely rude and will make you wait because they're playing on their phones, drinks are consistently wrong, espresso and coffee are stale or watered down and the interior is absolutely disgusting. I recommend going literally anywhere else for coffee, even a gas station coffee would likely be cleaner and taste better than this and at least you wouldn't have to deal with the stuff. read more

The service here is horrible. Who I imagine is the owner or manager is impolite. I normally just get a 3$ ice coffee here because they can't seem to make any other drink; but I gave them the benefit of the doubt and ordered a Carmel latte... I was drinking straight Carmel setup the entire time it was horrible. By far the slowest, untrained staff at a Dunkin' I've been at. This dunkin never has the specialty flavors and even when they do, they can't make a tasty iced latte. Drive thru staff do not have warm or welcoming tones when conversating, always come off as though they are perturbed to be there. I've been back twice since my initial visit, and as a veteran of 100s of DDs for over 20 years in New England and Charlotte, NC, I can see where their problems are. First: Staffing. In NE, the staff are trained in teams in order to anticipate high volume periods. This store doesn't reflect that experience and it shows. The line was almost out the door at 7:15 AM with one person behind the counter and 3 at the drive-in window. Not a good mix. They are sacrificing their counter service for drive through. Bad move. Why? Missourians don't see a lot of drive through coffee. They're used to coming inside places to get it. Build your speed and customer service, and they will come. And come back. Slow at the counter? You're pissing off more than half your business. Slow at the counter and they won't bother with the drive through. This happened the same way in Charlotte. Note to Dunkin Donuts: train your franchisees better! Second, don't serve watered down coffee. I drank it anyway, because I was desperate. Why did I get it? Because he had the first cup under the brewer to get it to the customer in front of me faster. When you do that, the rest of the pot tastes like crap. Bad training. Third, I asked for a dozen assorted, and even said that I was introducing Dunkin Donuts to people who hadn't had them before. What did he give me? First the cost of my order was mistated and the person behind the window acted like I had made a mistake when I tried to pay with correct change. This location is so incredibly rude. I've been here maybe a dozen times and have only ever had one somewhat polite/nice person help me. Today I placed a mobile order for the first time and they didn't have part of our order- the donuts. The person at the window tried to be nice and say sorry they do quickly in the mornings and the person behind him (I'm assuming the manager) told us not to order them anymore. Yeah... I won't make the mistake of ordering donuts at a donut shop again, thanks! Also we were told they cannot refund the items we didn't receive and could only have an exchange even though we didn't want anything else. I order 2 or 3 boxes of donuts ahead of time for my office on occasion. The donuts are consistently good to great and always fresh. When I forget to call in the order and stop in with no notice, the order is filled promptly. I do like the sausage/egg/cheese croissant too. Ordered a couple of bagels one with veggie cream cheese and one with plain cream cheese. I instead got some sort of berry cream cheese and one with barely any cream cheese at all. I drove back and let them know they messed my order up and asked if they could redo it but with cream cheese on the side . I then got yelled at by some young chick over the comms. I was certainly being pretty passive aggressive, but this wasn't the first time they screwed up my order. It was however my first time complaining to them. The first time I went to Dunkin was on free donut day and I ordered a basic glazed donut. I waited until I got home and heated it up in the microwave which made it taste soooo much better then the cold bite I took in the car. I went back a second time and my boyfriend (who tried to get a long john for the third time, but they were out again) got a donut with chocolate icing and sprinkles and it was pretty terrible. We didn't heat it up this time so that could've made all the difference. I also got a scoop of Oreo ice cream from 31 Flavors and I might as well have gotten vanilla because it was pretty flavorless. There are plenty of better places to get a small dessert in Columbia, so I'd definitely recommend a Sonic shake and a Hot Box cookie over anything from the Dunkin Donuts/31 Flavors duo. read more

If I wanted a powdered hot chocolate & coffee confection, McDonald's can serve that up cheaper. It was undrinkable. If I wanted still frozen hash browns, I can find that in the frozen food aisle. If I wanted to get overcharged for something I didn't even buy, I can find a pawn shop or a used car dealer. I almost don't know where to start. Their problems are many. Yesterday, I waited 15 minutes for my large ice macchiato. While waiting, at 10:30am, the were 4 donuts in the store. Please read that again. In a donut store, there were 4 donuts in the glass cabinets! Today, my son and I went there like we do every Sunday morning. We ordered at the counter and WAITED 20 MINUTES for our 2 large ice macchiato. When we finally got them, they each only had 1 shot of espresso in each one. I felt cheated out of $10. I thought about asking them to remake the order, but I didn't have another 20 minutes to wait. I also thought about asking for a refund but I didn't want to get ahead of the other people waiting in line. Of course it's the same owner running all three Columbia stores. Donuts are always sold out and never replenished such as the popular glazed donuts even in the mornings. Even if you buy donuts from them, they are mostly stale as if they have been sitting on the shelves all day. Last time I went in the morning, the shelves were mostly empty with no glazed donuts. I came back a few hours later (about 6 hours later) and the shelves still looked the same to me. The same donuts sitting there! I guess flavors no one wants or flavors they have to choose from because the other popular flavors were never replenished. This owner is ruining the Dunkin' Donuts franchise name by cutting costs at every corner. Exact same thing happened at the new Columbia location in the north side of town.
