Very disappointed with my latte this morning around 5:00 AM. It tasted overly bitter and had almost no flavor you'd expect from a latte. It seemed like the espresso was burnt or the drink wasn't made properly. Definitely not the quality I expected from Dunkin. read more

I just came in and out around 1pm today..I ordered a small iced black tea...I was given a small iced black coffee..I have some health issues that have made me unsure if I can have coffee or not which is why I ordered tea like I always do when I come here.. ._. DO NOT GO HERE*** STAY AWAY**** The worst experience I have ever had at any business ever. These guys are so mean, hostile, unprofessional, dirty, sloppy, and rude. The lobby was trashed. The drive thru Line was outstanding. Employees were on their cell phones and having conversations while customers were waiting. Uniforms were dirty and hadn't been washed. There was no music on and hideous beeping with no care for attention. I asked what was taking so long for my order and was immediately stepped to by 4 employees at once. They told me to leave and threatened to fight me. I left empty handed. They yelled at me in front of other customers and said if I came back they would "meet me at the door" The general manager was present and joined in the fun of bullying their customer. This establishment is gross and the perfect example of how to not run a business and who Not to hire. I've never felt more scared or uncomfortable purchasing coffee and doughnuts. Besides me being "not allowed to come back ever again" I will not be returning to this establishment. Typical DD set up, foods and prices. I've been through drive through as well as in the place. Clean. Friendly staff. Family friendly. Lot parking. I really like the egg wrap. I've tried it with just cheese and with the other meats. I didn't care for the turkey sausage, but the other meats were quite good. I've had the donuts and they were good as well. The drinks are very good here. I've bought some of the cups. There's one that doesn't have a tight seal on the lid and leaks all the time, but another that seals perfectly. CyHawkApproved. Clean spot to get a cold coffee and treat on the outskirts of Des Moines. Parking is ample and the bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Service is quick and courteous from the employees. A big screen TV allows you to watch the news while enjoying the food and company. I would recommend this place for your donut fix. read more

My 1st stop into this one and now my least favorite Metro location. I'm a regular in Ankeny and stop into the others frequently. The staff was unpleasant but the drinks are so inconsistent with other metro DD I really do not plan to ever waste time or money stopping by this one again, I had to throw my drink away, and I had really wanted it. She over poured the cream until the whole drink was thick white in color.. there was so much ice jammed into the cup that it bent marks on the sides and there was just excessive amounts of sweetener. read more

I've been a customer of this location since it opened years ago. It's been a shit show ever since. The staff is never consistent. They run out of everything from straws to cups to espresso daily and the most recent ice. They also make their own hours due to staff shortages. Close often if staff isn't available. It's dirty, unkept and the franchise owner could care less. Employees smoke outside the door. I watched staff eating in the dining area all of dinning room closures do to covid. The sad part is, I will go back. I truly love Dunkin' coffee and there's just not many options on this side of town. The other location on e14th is owned by the same franchise and is just as bad. This Dunkin location always provides the best coffee no matter how understaffed and how long the drive through line is. The workers are always so nice and will happily remake your order if it's incorrect. I stopped here on a Friday afternoon to grab a coffee and decided to order inside rather than use the drive-thru. There were two young ladies working and they were a great team together. The drive-thru was busy and they were both helping on the headsets by answering questions. Several times I've gotten some horrible coffee I didn't order or the food was burnt. I am a health care worker so it's not like I have time to go back and get a new order started. The slowest Dunkin' I have EVER been too & they don't get my order right 90% of the time

The service here is absolutely terrible. The staff is always rude and pushy, even if the place isn't busy, and when they mess up (which is often), they act like it is the customers fault = Last time I went here I ordered a couple of burritos and one sandwich and an iced coffee, stepped to the side to wait and then watched as they handed a sack of food to the customer who was behind me, and then hand me "my" food a couple of minutes later. Sure enough, they handed my food to the guy behind me, and there was only one burrito in the sack they handed me, so when I told them, the staff got snippy and acted like I should have chased the other guy down for my food that they had given him. 5 minutes later I eventually got the food that I ordered and paid for with no apology, only attitude. This location never seems to get the correct price - every morning it is different and I have to ask why. I tell them the regular price and they refigure and get it right. Sometimes they forget to give you a receipt as well. Need more knowledgeable employees. read more

If I could give them zero stars I would! I placed an order online and when I went to pick it up I only saw my coffee on the counter. I asked the man behind the counter about the other half of my order, which was an egg and cheese sandwich. He gets all frustrated, waves his hands around at a screen, and says "this is what I'm dealing with!" So I just stood there for 10 minutes until he hands me a bag with my sandwich in it. I said "thank you", and he said nothing just gave me a dirty look. What he should have done when I first asked him about my order was tell me that there are several orders ahead and it will just be a few more minutes. And then when I said "thank you" he should have said "I apologize for the wait have a great day!" This guy clearly needs to either be trained better or fired. I didn't catch his name but he is a tall skinny African-American man with shoulder length dreads and glasses who reminded me why some people in life will always make minimum-wage.
