I'll start off by saying-- I would have originally give them a 1 star... because I watch 3 baristas run in circles for 15 minutes and make my drink wrong twice, which I was on a time crunch as I had to go back to the salon for a client. I left with out a beverage, then returned 45 minutes later-- the manager was kind, respectful, and took care of my drink and insure me it was taken care and that others guest wouldn't experience what I did. Thanks for being able to admit you guys messed up and made it right

Love scooters coffee and so happy to have another one in the Des Moines metro! Staff is super friendly! And the coffee is fantastic!!! The pumpkin pie blended shake is amazing!!! They even make it with almond milk and real pumpkin. It's super smooth and creamy! Their baked goods are so delicious! Scooter's is my go to place. The only thing I wish is that there was one closer!!

Get the blended carmelicious! The iced coffee cannot compare to the blended. Also the folks at this location are always kind.

I got 7 shots in a latte and it was extremely weak. There is no way there is 7 shots in this.

I had the Salsa Verde Pork & Egg with a pancake on the side, and Kim had the seasonal Limoncello French Toast. We both had caramel lattes, and everything was excellent. The place was moderately busy, but service was friendly and excellent. It has a bright, cheerful feel inside, and the outdoor seating looked really inviting too -- I just wasn't dressed for hot weather that morning. Prices felt reasonable for the quality, and the menu has a fun mix of breakfast and lunch options with seasonal specials thrown in. Good food, good lattes, great service, and a really nice atmosphere. We'll definitely be back!

We saw there were a few table so we decided to try it with the intention to be quick. Boy am I glad we did! Started with the sunrise juice, a carrot juice blend and the homemade strawberry lemonade both were so fresh and delicious. We tried the brown sugar and cinnamon pop tart and that was heaven in my mouth. So much flavor and goodness. I ordered the limoncello French toast and it is a slice of fresh baked lemon bread made into French toast. The flavors were rich and the texture was fluffy. A must try while it's in season. Others got the turkey and avocado Benedict and the pancakes with eggs and bacon. All cooked to perfection. Our server Jess was so nice and we did tip her well for being so last minute, but to our credit we were out of there at 6 mins after closing while everyone was still working to close up. I try to not show up late but this one was so worth it!!

We've driven by this place and talked about stopping for food before and my wife had been there with co-workers after work one day, but this was our first stop for food. A clean, modern storefront greets you (see picture) and with plenty of televisions and a nice patio, it looks to be a hopping place once the temperatures warm up a little. While our server was a little hard to find at times, we both found our food to be quite good. My wife ordered the Nacho Burrito Meal (see picture) and I opted for the Honey Citrus salad (see picture). As is our custom, we shared samples of each of our meals and both of us found both choices to be worthy of ordering again. I really liked the clean, crisp and fresh salad with a delicious tangy dressing and the Burrito was tasty inside and out (loved the creamy, cheesy sauce). If you are looking for a great stop for Sunday morning brunch (possibly after some shopping at Sam's Club just across the interstate to the North), you won't go wrong here! I do wish I was a bigger fan of the food, but it just isn't that memorable for me. On this visit, my friend had the Spinach Artichoke Dip. She said it was good. I had the Hot Honey Chicken Wrap. I chose grilled chicken, which was tender. The wrap overall was a bit sloppy as the honey kind of oozes out all over. It was just ok, and was advertised as having jalapeños, but I didn't notice any. I got coleslaw for my side and it was very bland. Great patio seating with shaded areas and sunnier spots, and a variety of indoor options. Lots of TVs.

Located in a…read morestrip mall at the corner of Grand and EP True (by the HyVee), the decor is nothing special but it was light and bright inside. We were greeted and asked if we were dining in (it appears they do a brisk takeout business) and were told to sit where we wanted. It was surprisingly crowded for a Sunday afternoon at 4 pm. The menu is extensive and hubby and I both like Mediterranean food. I chose the Falafel plate, served with five falafel balls, hummus, a pita, and Greek salad. The portion was generous (ended up taking two falafel home). Served with tahini and their house green sauce (olive oil, cilantro, and jalapeño) It wasn't spicy but it was so delicious - I could get addicted to this thinking of all the other ways so could enjoy it!! The Greek salad was served with house dressing - garlic and yogurt, also very good. The falafel was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and flavorful. The hummus was not at all grainy - smooth but just a tad bland. Hubby had the lamb skewers and liked them very much. Served with rice, salad, and hummus. He also took one of the skewers home. We both had the mango Fresca juice. A bit too sweet for me but I generally drink unsweetened beverages. Hubby liked it a lot. Service was friendly and we were checked on twice to ask how we liked our food. Generous portions, friendly service, good food, but not inexpensive (with tip, $55 for two) but what is inexpensive these days?? We enjoyed reading the story of the couple who started this restaurant, and I'm glad we finally had a chance to try it?
