I wish there was something lower than a 1 star. By far the worst customer experience I have ever encountered at Dunkin Donuts, having been to ones in 4 states. I called and placed an order on 9/30 to pick up for staff at 7:45am on 10/1. When I go into the store I am met with a canned monologue (that Andrew gave to an officer with Coast Guard that complained about wait time too) that drive thru takes precedence. My order was finally ready at 8:30am (officer complained he had waited over a half hour). I am telling everyone in our organization to never go to this location. While there I talked with 3 walk in customers who decided to just walk next door to Wawa....faster and more customer friendly. read more

I get it, it's hard time for service employees so I will try to leave good reviews when I can but.... this was bad. Employees were screaming at each other about breaks, customer interaction was 1 out of 5, and my drink was disgusting (pumpkin creme cold brew). I won't even blame the employees, their management needs to fight for better wages so that they can bring in more competitive personnel. I have no idea how this place gets 2 stars. Trying to use the drive-thru is like a train wreck that never ends. You can speak face-to-face with staff and no matter who is on duty, your order will be incorrect. I finally gave up several months ago and won't go back, but my daughter keeps trying and getting the same disappointing results, *knowing* there is no shot they'll ever get it right. read more

Can never get a frozen drink. ALWAYS machine is down. Ordered it mobile and they were surprised I wanted a refund on my card. Went by a few weeks ago during business hours and when I tried to order, the lights were turned off and they told me they were now closed. read more

Staffing may be part of the issue but I'm not sure. Placed the order through the app, waited a while for the one car ahead of us then we were put on "hold" for several minutes before we could say it was an online order. Got to the window and were given two drinks of entirely different colors although they were both supposed to be the same. When I expressed that they were not the same, the woman at the window just looked at me. We drove away with one one frozen mocha coffee and one frozen something with no flavor. read more

As a former employee of the Outer Banks group of Dunkin's you would assume their standard is maintained at ALL locations..... NOPE. This is the WORST Dunkin' I have ever been to. The employees have no sense of business nor cleanliness. The same gloves used on the food were used to sift through the register to give me my change.... DISGUSTING. If you are looking for coffee in Elizabeth City, you're better off going to McDonald's. Better yet, go to the best local coffee shop around, The Kraken. 0/10 not impressed by this Dunkin location. The place needs to be cleaner and they need to handle the food better. They don't wash their hands frequently enough and some of the employees are beyond rude and lack customer service. Please do better or shut this place down. read more

These location is always very busy. I felt bad for the employee. Only one person working. Management is poor. They need to get a manager willing to work on weekend. Very sad. I used to love this place when it first opened, it has gone downhill FAST! They never have donuts, I order hot chocolate they give me coffee...happened twice. My husband ordered a coffee only to taste it and discover white things floating in it (expired milk). I could go on but just know it may be better to cut these calories and drive on!!! read more

Ordered the new sausage protein sandwich and a iced coffee and realized the sandwich was half cold, walked back in to address it, and they gave me attitude about it like really? And they attempted to correct it and with a non attentive attitude gave it back, and was still cold in the bread, they just ran in back through the heating rack needless to say I won't be going back to this location, approximately at 1:20pm read more

This is the worst Duncan doughnuts ever. They literally cannot make even a simple breakfast sandwich! 2 days in a row they left off main ingredients from the sandwich- yesterday was the entire egg and today was the breakfast meat. So disappointed and angry!!!!!! We haven't beaten here in a long time because of the poor quality, but we figured we would give it another chance, and again- we are very disappointed and will never be back. Today my husband and I decided to get some treats for our family while visiting from out of town. First, the drive threw was packed, not a problem because the one at home usually is as well. We opt to go inside to try and save time. To be honest it probably would have been faster to go through the drive through. We sat at the register for a good 3-4 minutes before we even saw someone. The guy comes from the back and pulls out a small square of paper with what I can only imagine is is sign on for the computer before he even greeted us. I asked for an Iced caramel latte then asked if if I wanted it hot or iced. Again I reply iced. There was a complete lack of customer service skills in general. By the time we were leaving three more people came from the back. There needs to be a revamp and re-evaluation of the staffing at this location. read more
