Not a bad Dunks to visit. The inside, including the bathroom, is very clean and recently updated. There is plenty of parking outside too. The drive through us odd to get to because it's essentially behind the building (wait, are all drive throughs this way?). They have forgotten whipped cream on my dad's frozen coffee a couple time but fix it for me. The staff is young high school aged kids who have all been very nice and patient. This store gets busy! Will return because it's easier to get in and out than other Dunks in the area. read more

They forgot to add an item and said well it's too late now and hung up. Check your bags before leaving and the rudeness is unacceptable

Employees smoke weed in the building and it stinks, get there before 3pm. Regardless of time of day, expect to wait a while for your order.

They're supposed to close at 7:00. Our kids were excited to get donuts and as we pulled in at 6:35, the person saw us and rushed out to lock the door as we were getting out of the car. You could tell she saw us by her rush and refusal to look our way. My husband called and she said they're closing early because there's only 2 of them. Not my problem.... Many many times I have bought coffee here in Freeport. Some of their staff are great. Today I order a drink on app with correct store. The bank reflects money deducted, returns it and takes again, $5.96. I drive for pick up. She says, 'We don't see it. It probably went somewhere else. I say, like where? " I don't know, Yarmouth". I say it did not according to app and the money is withdrawn. It says Freeport. She says, ' I have to see it. ' I ask if she wants to know my drink? No response. I drive to window and she says 'You didn't hit order.' Yes, I did -twice and you can see it right here on my bank app. 'You could talk to the manager tomorrow'. I ask if I could have a drink as she can see it's been paid for. She throws up her arm, and yells at me, " What was your drink, what is the drink?" They give me a nice cold latte, 3/4 filled. I hear a smart ass comment as she hands drink to co- worker. I ask for her name and she says " I don't have to give you nothing." Her friend says people drive up asking for drinks and she's frustrated. I say ok give me her name and we can share that with her manager. The intruder :) says ' That's not nice!' What's not nice? You've seen me here many times, she nods. What's your name? " I'm nobody". ( lol) They held tight, no name for the lousy employee who thought very little of my money or all the times I have spent money. I waited a few minutes in disbelief, thinking about if in my profession I spoke to a client like that...I was really surprised. I guess even bullying and down talking your customer is ok now; a small reminder of Wednesday. Or do I believe she's uneducated in her position, hot tempered, poor manners to begin with and doesn't really care ....... read more

I have terrible experiences every time I go here, which will ultimately result in me going to other towns to avoid having to go here. Today around 9am I went through the drive thru and there was a very pleasant man who appeared to be a new hire. The woman who was training him was borderline abusive. She was yelling at him in front of all employees and customers. The other day my cashier was extremely rude when there was a miscommunication about a box of joe. When I go through the drive thru, the cashiers are regularly rude (one time one of them was VERY racist regarding the guest in front of me) and do the absolute bare minimum when taking my order. No one seems to like being there in any capacity. The team here needs a MAJOR overhaul. read more

Unfortunately not the best local Dunkin branch. Service has repeatedly been not great. This was the last time before I decided to write a review. We called an hour ahead for a Box o' Joe to give them time on a busy Saturday morning but when we arrived it wasn't ready, no one had communicated the order after our call and the cashier was rude. Had to wait 15 minutes for them to make it. Several visits in the drivethru have been met with mediocre service and robot like interaction with the employees. Seems like none of them want to be there or actually provide outstanding customer service. I never expect decent service when I stop in there. Next time I'll travel the extra time to Brunswick or Yarmouth, if I want Dunkin'. read more

Great Dunkin Donuts. Drive thru is a bit funky, but it works and they at least have one. Boston Scream donut was fresh and had all the Halloween decorations on it. Iced coffee was alright, seemed old, but drinkable. They loved my Chihuahua and everyone working there came to the drive thru to see him. They even gave him a dog biscuit, now that is customer service. So friendly and nice, the people working there, I wish they were all this nice. Kind of a hidden DD next to Shaws, would not know it was there. read more

The people there are always super nice and helpful but unfortunately I feel like stuff always goes wrong while I'm there. They're always out of something, I went in four days this week and the first day it was fine, I ordered something that wasn't even on the menu and it was fine. The next day, I ordered a refresher with coconut milk and they were all out of coconut milk. The next day, I ordered the same thing and they just gave it to me with green tea, which I'm sure was just a misunderstanding, and I ended up enjoying it, but it was irritating. I just didn't say anything because I knew they were out of coconut milk the day before. Today I went in to order the same thing, and they were out of the refresher I usually get. It's sad because I prefer Dunkin to the other places in town as it's more affordable and closer to work, but me and a lot of my family have had some strange experiences there. One time I went there at like 3 and it was closed, this was earlier in the year so the hours could have been different but still, a fast food place closing at three in the afternoon is strange to me. I'm not trying to bash anyone who works there, because I'm sure none of this is their fault, but this Dunkin kind of sucks. The grilled cheese there is always delicious though. read more

This was our first ever Dunkin Donuts experience. We'd been driving and were in need of refreshment. The people at the counter were wonderfully cheery. We picked up: 1 coffee, 1 iced tea, 2 glazed, and 1 chocolate donut. The donuts were alright. They lacked the pillowy love that one finds in donuts from mom & pop shops but did I mention that the counter people were wonderfully cheery? They were. I felt a bit sorry for the people in the drive thru because they were missing the whole pleasant experience. I'd like to think that all the other Dunkin Donuts I see all over the place are this cheery, bright, and clean. We munched our donuts for a bit, saved the rest for later, and hit the road again. Employees are regularly on their phones in the kitchen area. They don't use sanitary practices when handling food and drink. Not to mention when you order an ice coffee, you'll be getting mostly ice. I've attached a photo of how much ice is in my cup compared to how much coffee. $3.55 for a cup of frozen water. read more

The customer service here is the reason I gave this place two stars. I have to say that Dukin Donuts, as a chain, has never done it for me. But twice I have had the unfortunate experience of trying to get breakfast on the run, and it making me feel slightly ill. The last time I ate here I received food that was black and burnt. I called the manager and she kindly apologized for the problem and said I could get a free sandwich next time I went in. I honestly don't think I want the free sandwich, but the fact that they tried to fix their mistake goes a long way with me. read more

Apparently, the city of Freeport is very much like San Francisco. It banned styrofoam cups, so my coffee was served in a paper cup. +3 stars! Fast service +1 star, friendly staff +1 star. And they allowed me to use my gift card that was on my DD app. read more

Terrible customer service. We went in for breakfast sandwiches and my wife used the restroom. She came out and to the manager that there was no toilet paper. The manager unapologetically stated that she knew and there was none in the store. No "I'm sorry". Terrible and unhygienic. They could have posted a sign. I was on vacation and I accidentally left my keys at the store when picking up morning coffee. It took my a few days to consider that i left them there and when I called they had saved my keys and were holding them for me. The staff was great and super helpful. The owner of the store ended up mailing my keys back to me and wouldn't accept any payment for shipping charges or his efforts. Thank you! read more

I just left this DD and the customer service employees were functioning at maybe 30%. There were four employees and one person in front of me. There was one woman at the register who kept messing up their order and three of the employees were just gathered around the drive thru window. Finally after 10 minutes of just watch them stand there, they decided to help me. I bought four different gift cards and then I asked for the envelope to slip them in. They then proceeded to tell me they didn't know where the envelopes were, no one looked for them and they said they couldn't access the office but it should be mandatory that someone has keys to access the storage closet. So now I have to go buy additional gift envelopes. So ridiculous. read more

We asked for a caramel swirl iced coffee and all she said was "I'm out" and that was it! Didn't offer to get us anything else, no apology! I really only come here when Frosty's is closed. But sometimes you just want a munchkin and this is the spot. The staff is friendly, helpful, and quick. Today I didn't feel like getting out of my car in the snow so I used the drive-thru. There were 7 cars in front of me and the line moved super quick. I ordered donuts for my team and was on my way. While I prefer other donuts, DD is always consistent and is a good standby in a pinch. read more

On 03/03/17 I bought a chocolate coconut doughnut at Dunkin Donuts in Freeport after a trip to LL Bean. The doughnut was fresh and delicious, with just the right amount of sweetness.
