    Loaded Hash - highly recommend!
    Esther W.

Absolutely delicious! Got the loaded hash and it was so good but I couldn't finish it - it was a plate full! We also bought yummy molasses bacon cookies and peanut butter chocolate chip cookies - perfect snack for later! Also the staff are super sweet!

Turkey, Turkey & Granny Smith Apple sandwich on wheat bread
    Rebecca D.

I enjoyed my lunch at Isabella's. On a beautiful Saturday at 1 it was quite empty, so no need to worry about seating. I ordered the turkey, apple, and cheddar sandwich on wheat bread and while it wasn't the best version of the sandwich I've had, it was still very tasty. The turkey was thick and quite dry, but everything else was good. My friend also enjoyed her caprese sandwich.

    Cinnamon & Sticky Buns

Great service and helpful! Cinnamon bun and sticky bun were really good - moist not overly sweet.

    Western Omelet

We walked past this restaurant a couple of times and thought we'd give it a try for breakfast. We were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn just down the street. The food was good, not spectacular and pretty expensive, but we've realized that most of Maine makes their money off of tourist. We had a bartender tell us that "The locals pay the bills, but the tourists put the kids through college." We both had the Western Omelet. Again, good, but pretty bland. Some salsa would have been a great addition. Jelly for the toast was just your Smucker's that you get at any average restaurant. $50 for two for an average breakfast is pretty expensive. I don't think I would return here as the cost doesn't match the quality of the food.

    The yummy burrito!

I learned about SPüN from our community manager and also very much love their cinnamon rolls, but…read morereaaallly love their cakes. SPüN does a lot of variety of custom order cakes and they're so nicely done. My first opportunity was my SO had actually ordered a green tea cake -- it was so good I couldn't stop shoveling the buttercream into my mouth. This year I opted for a Boston cream pic cupcake selection for the Boston cream pie lover in my life. The inside was a yellow cake base with the standard Boston cream in the middle and a hardened chocolate shell over cream on top. I made a special request for some lettering and they came packaged in a box that allowed for complete stability of the cakes. I accidentally left them out in a cold area prior to serving but they turned out totally fine! I would have normally done a regular Boston cream pie but circumstances made cupcakes an easier option. Will be trying the full cake next time. Definitely recommend if you're in the area -- ordering, customizing, payment, and pick up were all insanely easy.

THESE ARE THE BEST CINNAMON ROLLS I'VE EVER HAD IN MY LIFE (So please ignore anything I've said stating otherwise that was written before this review was.) I had been warned that these were everything and more, and that still did not prepare me for how epic they were. They're the perfect balance of both dense and yet they melt-in-your-mouth; the "icing" (whatever notion you have of icing, throw it away because that's not what this is but a word hasn't been invented yet for whatever is going on with these buns) is sticky and creamy and has a little hint of citrus. And I am not sure I can never eat another cinnamon roll again, because these have spoiled me forever (I was swooning so much the first time we had them that my partner let me finish his as well!). Also: their frittata? I haven't had anything that good since living in Spain. Big, filling wedges of layered egg, potato, onion, and veggies. I'm hoping this will always be available vegetarian! Also; I ate it cold. And with my hands like it was a slice of pizza. That's the kind of monster I am, but it worked out deliciously! Spün you have IMMEDIATELY become one of my favorite food places in all of Maine. Can I make my holiday order for a half dozen cinnamon rolls and veggie frittata now?!

Whenever I visit somewhere new I make sure to visit at least one small coffee shop. I passionately support small businesses as much as I can! My friend and I had driven up to a local confectionery and I was dragging afterwards. So we found this adorable little place and I had one of the best coffees of my life! The only reason that I am giving it four stars instead of five is that they don't do blended coffee. I also think they need to hire a couple more people as the wait was a bit much. That being said it was entirely worth it because as I stated my vanilla pistachio latte was one of the best coffees I have had in 20 some odd years of coffee drinking. I also loved the decor and cute little elements that really make you feel at home! They had plenty of seating especially for being a smaller establishment Overall, Cute, locally owned and very friendly staff! Delicious coffee! After 1hr and 45 minutes of waiting for our food, promises that the food is coming from the poor waitress, no food. The restaurant was emptying out. Mind you, this is for two plates of scrambled eggs, toast and home fries. This was the attitude directly from the owner to the waitress. The owner could have cared less. The worst treatment I've ever experienced from a breakfast joint. I'll never go again and would advise people to not go as well. 0 out of 10 rating. I will say they appear to have their baked goods as well as many different food options like sandwiches but my review is strictly for the coffee. Once you enter to the right is all the different seating with a good variety of tables and chairs but also some more comfy choices like couches. Quite a large space inside and a handful of tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. You order at the counter and then they have a spot further down where they'll call out your name for both food and drinks. They had a section on the menu called the MET Artistic Lattes which was their version of specialty flavored lattes. This caught our eyes. My wife went with the Falcon Pride (chocolate & white chocolate latte) and I went with the Vanilla Bean Dream (white chocolate & vanilla). Drink wise they were both pretty good! Didn't become a new favorite coffee spot but good enough we would return if we found ourselves in the area looking for coffee again. To have a real strong opinion I would need to return and try some of the food rather than just the coffee.

I used to always get Miyake sushi but it sells out fast/ it's after lunchtime when I go. Lately I got a turkey cheddar sandwich, it was hearty and on good bread but also $13. I usually get a fun drink since they always have new brands and options of things like watermelon water, coconut water, kombucha, seltzer, etc. I highly recommend the pretzel rolls and the ham/cheese croissant in the pastry cabinet, although those are usually sold out too. You can buy fancy chips and ice creams as well as local seafood and produce. It's a nice one stop shop but purchasing ingredients to make a meal is likely a splurge.
