I've come here 3 times. The first two times they were out of cold brew. I came again a couple days ago, and woohoo! All items available this time, which was great news because I forgot my morning coffee and ended up with a migraine. I ordered my custom cold brew and drove off happily, also impressed by noting their 100 health grade rating. Then I sipped it. Hm. It tasted different. I took my straw and swirled it around, maybe it just needed to be stirred. I tried it again and then almost couldn't swallow. It tasted like it had 3 shots of vodka in it! How, I don't know. I've never tasted coffee that tasted like alcohol before. I had my husband taste it and he said the same thing. Neither one of us drank anymore. 1 Star Avoid this Dunkin' at all costs. My experience this morning was unbelievably bad. I went through the drive-thru right after they opened, and somehow they were already "out" of sesame bagels -- which is pretty hard to believe when you haven't even been open long enough to turn the lights on properly. What they did give me was an everything bagel that was stale, rock-hard, and completely inedible. It tasted like it had been sitting out since yesterday... or longer. To make things worse, the phone number listed for the store doesn't even work. I tried calling to resolve the issue, and it just failed -- which tells you exactly how much they care about customers. Between the stale food, the sketchy explanations, and the inability to reach anyone to fix the problem, this location absolutely deserves a 1-star rating. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Ordered a catering meal 2 days in advance of the meeting. Ordered for 7:45am food did not arrive until 8:30am. 35 people waiting for food. First time using their service for catering. Major company that does massive amounts of catering. We were told that the DM did not inform the acting store GM that the order was placed through the app. The store employees, including the GM on duty, did everything they could to fix the situation. I am giving them 5 stars. DM that is delinquent in their communication, do better. You will lose business this way. read more

Wow. I remember why we don't stop here now. We went through the drive thru and the communication is so poor. We pull up to the window and they give us half our order, then come back to the window, wondering what we are waiting for. Then we have to repeat our order, even though it's on the screen and we paid for it. The drive thru is soooooo slow because of the inefficiency. read more

Just stopped here to pickup an online offer of two drinks, a breakfast sandwich and two donuts. Pulled away before we realized they left out the two donuts and only used one piece of bread on the sandwich. How do you forget the top piece of bread?!? Bagel taste like it was from the night before and and there was little to no cream cheese. We asked for an XL with cream and sugar and then went to change our order and the person behind the speaker said "I already took your coffee order" basically telling us move on no changes. I went to the Dunkin in Gastonia this morning after entering my patent mobile order. I couldn't help but feel ignored with what felt like 3-5 minutes with no one to greet me at the drive-through. The woman opens the window and asked me if I ordered from the speaker. So I politely responded that it was a mobile order. She returned with. Large black coffee, and handful of 1/2&1/2, and several sweet-n-lows. The only thing right about this order was the volume of coffee. I asked her "am I expected to make my coffee myself with the properties I didn't request?" Her response was; "what do you want me to do?" She then explained that they are "out of cream and equal". She then walked away without any remediation attempts. I have never encountered this level of stupidity in years and a lack of service in years. read more

Terrible service. I have been to this location a few times within the past few months. They are never busy but somehow still seem to get my order wrong. My coffee was the only correct thing in my order. I tell them I have a mobile order at the speaker and they tell me to pull to the window. I sit at the window for a few minutes before anyone even acknowledged that I'm waiting on an order. They ask if I already paid, so I tell them again, I had a mobile order. They hand me my coffee and someone else is walking around with the rest of my order. They finally give me the donuts I ordered. I get home and they are wrong. read more

Noticed there were numerous lower star reviews. So here is my review. Was here on Saturday at 8:15 AM. Walked in there was a couple of people in front of us. By the time got to us they switched cashier. She seemed nice but kinda new. Showed Yelp check-in after ordering coffee. Staff asked other personnel about it. The Barvarian Creme donut was fresh and the coffee was good. The egg muffin with cheese and bacon was hot. It took a while for us to get the hot item stuff. Woman behind us was not too pleased with the waiting time. Know it was busy at the drive through and there was a line of cars. At least, the drinks were coming out quicker than the food. I always give multiple tries because everyone has a bad day, but this store is consistently disappointing. They're always out of egg bites no matter the time of day, they consistently get simple drink orders wrong, they substitute what they're out of for something cheaper without giving a refund of the difference without a fight. Highly disappointing. Found out they're not out of stuff, we just overheard the woman in the kitchen say she's done making food and to stop taking food orders. Sticking to Starbucks because it seems all Dunkins in this area are sub par. We've tried drive thru and ordering pick up ahead and it always takes 15-20 mins after ordering. Going to notify corporate as well because it seems everyone is having issues with the staff at this store. read more

Ordered 2 dark roasts coffees from the drive-thru and one of them had soap in it. I had my wife taste and she agreed that it had soap in it. How can you not make sure that cleaning products don't get into the food or drinks! HOW does a DD location manage to get such low ratings?? Understaffed? Managerial problem. Terrible customer service? Personnel problem. Was this an issue of both? I don't know but if I had seen 2 stars I would've never wasted our time there. My family was in the midst of a long drive & since we were trying to make good time this was one of our precious few stops. Quick coffee, a couple of sandwiches, on our way. So...for the sandwiches they somehow had an "out of bacon issue." How do you run OUT OF BACON at 4:00 in the afternoon? They only had enough for 2 sandwiches so we ordered those 2 + 1 turkey sausage s/w. And a peppermint mocha coffee. I don't know if some popular sandwiches are pre-made but they said they just "hadn't had time" to make them already so we had to wait for them to be made. There was NO ONE else in the shop to make them so "busy" (can receipt timestamps be checked to confirm customer traffic?) & the drive-through wasn't really hopping either, but fine. So they made the sandwiches, handed me the bag with a thanks & goodbye. I checked the bag--missing the turkey sausage s/w. "Oh you had something else?" Are you kidding me, we were the only customers THERE. She went & checked our order then had the nerve to ask me if she could please take care of the drive through order that had just come in BEFORE finishing our order, VERY poor customer service training. I said "Oh sure, do what you need to do!" So by the time we finally got it I think our "quick stop" had set us back half an hour, infuriating. Oh and the coffee, which is my favorite coffee on the planet, turned out to be so weirdly odd-tasting that I actually can't even drink it. Almost like they mixed up & put 2 clashing flavors in the same cup, HOW CAN YOU MESS UP DD COFFEE?? Then they seemed to be out of basic things! i was about to pull out 4 napkins as I walked out the door but managed to leave 2 in the dispenser when I realized they were the last 2. Too "busy" even to keep an eye on napkins? What a nightmare of a stop & we will avoid the Gastonia NC Dunkin Donuts like gas-station sushi on our trip back home. My entire family set in line in the drive thru for over 20 minutes and still the car in front of us hadn't ordered. They were only taking orders from the inside. Multiplier people walked in after we had arrived and walked out with their orders. I called the business to ask why it was taking so long and why they were only filling inside orders which the person on the phone told me that I could either come inside or go to another Dunkin'. had one of the worst experiences at a Dunkin that I have ever had. I was greeted at the speaker saying that it was broken and not working to pull to the first window when I pulled the first window I ordered and had my money taken sat there for five minutes and then was told to pull up to the back door after pulling up to the back door I sat there for 28 minutes waiting on my food had to go up to the front window and saw my food sitting on the counter after it was handed to me I felt it was cold and asked for it To be remade they said I was going to have to wait I said it was fine and had the window slammed in my face I walked back to my car. Had to wait another 5 minute was brought my sandwich with no bag and the after a few minutes was brought the bacon and brought with an attitude yet again and started arguing and yelling with me. This store is a joke! I placed a order last Friday on the app at 5:05am and my husband goes to pick up the order at 5:40-5:45ish and was told to leave with out the order. I came here for an early morning stop on the way to the Charlotte airport. There was no line inside so we were helped right away. I think there were a few people in the drive through line but that didn't slow us down. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches and they were ready by the time we'd used the restrooms and grabbed napkins. My croissant with egg and cheese tasted good, just like any dunks across the nation. Unfortunately the cheese was a little under melted. I think they could have left it in the toaster a touch longer. There is a good sized parking lot. The flow of traffic is a little strange because of the one way street around the restaurant, but it is easy enough. Both the restaurant and restrooms were very clean. read more

Travelling from South Carolina through to Tennessee, I made a stop for some early morning go-juice and a yummy doughnut. I did not check YELP prior to stopping, but after I checked-in while standing in line the rating made sense to me. There was a constant long line around the building for the drive-thru, so I decided to head inside. They definitely didn't seem to be in a hurry. Slow service with average to low attitudes along with a very dirty interior warrants you a two star review. A plus side out of the whole visit was a yummy blueberry doughnut and a tasty cold brew coffee! read more

Stopped by here on the way to a road trip with a few people recently and it was a great experience one for the books. Egg wraps or delicious and a great deal which cannot be anywhere else 2 for $2 is a best bargain for breakfast food anywhere. The service was excellent but the built ins itself needs lots of work! The restrooms were nasty and definitely need an upgrade. Soap piled in the floor, hand dryer is worn out and the toilet seat was broken. TP was all over the floor. read more

Unlike other newer D&Ds I've been to this one has Terrible management- dirty store (accrued unswept floors ) with leak stains in the ceiling tiles and non matching lights in the fixtures-R&B music being played loud to accommodate the staff who smoke right outside the door - i was the only costumer and my order was not correct or handled professionally-if your the owner of this unit, don't claim you didn't know what was going on and get your for sale sign ready! read more
