The displays make the treats look great and the drinks on bar like taps are fabulous. it's a really good place! one of my orders was not correct but they fixed it for me! The donuts there were really good!

Six high school students working the store on a Sunday afternoon. They were only interested in chatting amongst themselves, carrying on and hurling language that you'd expect to hear on the football field. They were comparing stories of worst customer experiences they'd had, imitating customers and complaining. Service was horrible. They ruined everything they made and/or touched. After one of them basically tossed my food at me, I said "thank you," and she just gave me a dirty look and carried on with her friends and complaining. It's too bad they don't understand that without customers, they don't have jobs! I will never return to this one. Management needs to get all over this place! read more

I have been to this DD location a few times when I come up for a show at the Godspeed Opera House. This is definitely a good store, very clean and a good team of people behind the counter. The store is also windowed on two sides so it's plenty bright inside and there is ample seating for the space provided. The best thing I can tell you about this location is that everything is good. Apparently they move enough product to keep the shelves stocked with freshly made donuts and muffins. The coffee is always hot and I really enjoy their regular blend. I have had the pumpkin spice latte here and really enjoyed it with my pumpkin donut. Clearly these items take advantage of sugar... lots of sugar. The parking lot is large and easy to get in and out of especially on the narrow two lane highway headed to the Opera House. If you make this a stop in the summertime give yourself a few extra minutes in case the bridge is open as traffic does seem to back up a bit. read more

This is where I had my first Dunkin Donuts experience at the age of 32. I recently moved here from California and was dying to try Dunkin Donuts. I popped through the drive thru yesterday on my way to pick up a client. I ordered 2 egg white veggies flatbreads, 1 for my client and 1 for myself. I have a slight hearing problem so I waited till I got to the window to find out how much the total was. $8.07 for 2 flatbreads seemed expensive to me and before I could compose myself and hold my tongue, I blurted out "oh, that's expensive" not meaning any disrespect, I understand it's a corporate thing. While I was getting the money from my wallet the young man at the window typed in a little discount which took the total down about 50 cents and he said in a cheerful voice "Is that a little better ma'am?". The price was still high in my opinion but I had a smile ear to ear. I didn't ask for the discount but he took care of me as best he could anyways. The gesture was greatly appreciated and I ended up putting my savings, with his tip in the jar. Thank you young man, for being kind and cheerful on a Sunday morning when I know you'd rather have stayed at home in bed. My client and I thought the sandwiches were just okay. We could tell the ingredients used to make the sandwiches were on the cheap side but we liked that it was made with egg whites instead of the whole egg. In my opinion the quality and size of the products we received was worth only a little more that half what I paid. I rate the food and prices with 2 stars. The customer service that was provided to me brings it to 3 stars. It was the smile that won me over! read more

Love this place! I was surprised when Dunkin' Donuts came to East Haddam. The staff doesn't drown the coffee in sugar like other chains. Sometimes they put cream instead of milk (which I request). P.S. All electronic services are a little iffy around this area as phone calls frequently get dropped. read more

This Dunkin should win a prize for not being open for hours posted. While they are supposed to stay open until 9 pm, they lock the doors early (one time at 7:20 pm). No notice of explanation on the doors. Apparently your only alternative is to go through the drive through IF you think you may get service there. Absolutely unacceptable way to run a business. Our advice is to go a little further down the road to the spacious Dunkin in the new gas station. There you will find a newer, cleaner Dunkin with a pleasant person to take your order. read more

This location always has an issue, yet I decided one more try... to my regret! Tonight I ordered an hot mocha latte, among a few other items for the family. After getting down the road a bit, I discovered that it was ice cold! And it tasted burned. Went home and tried to heat it but still tasted like burned water - no flavor at all!!. teenagers who work here were so rude. I waited at the drive through for like 10 minutes still not being able to order. I kept saying "hello", but nothing happening. I left the line and started to drive away, and the teenage boy in the window yelled to me "GET OUT OF HERE". Don't bother going here. They close the grill about a half hour before they close & sometimes sooner. I went there 2 days ago at 815pm & they had NO food at all. HUGE turnover of employees, which is sad because they've had some great ones, but the owner must be a very bad person. The evening shift has ONE person on there, all by themselves!! That's not good management in any way & extremely unsafe. I will no longer be going there as I won't support this disrespect of their employees. The store is always a mess. The carpets look like they don't get vacumed. The staff seems nice they just don't have good management.... If they cleaned the store up a bit it would be a lot more tolerable. The Deep River Dunkin seems to have the same problem... I love Dunkin and this is pushing me to Starbucks. read more
