I wish I could give more stars, but I have to say the girl with dark hair that works the drive thru during the week in the early mornings ruin it for me. Everyone else has been great . All the workers in there give military discount. I went to the drive thru one morning and asked for military discount. She replied in a snotty way" Only active duty get discount and nobody but me follows the rules here." So I guess those who are retired military don't rate discounts according to her. Went to this dunkins to grab my toddler a maple and chocolate donut for a treat. The lady talked us into the half dozen so we ordered that. One of the donuts was upside down in the box and smashed into the others, also you could tell and taste that the donuts were very old. Dried out and chewy with a stale aftertaste. The only reason I am reviewing Dunkin Donuts, is because it is attached to Baskin-Robbins! My ultimate favorite ice cream is chocolate chip from Baskin-Robbins and is the only reason why my husband and I come here. With that being said, we order the same thing each time and have had our orders incorrect on multiple times. In addition, the staff does not appear to enjoy their jobs. So I don't leave reviews very often, nor am I a pessimistic individual. However, I find that it is a requirement for me to inform you (the reader of this review) that this business is poorly run and offers subpar service, except for one or two individuals. I was a frequent customer of this location for years, and approximately 8 months ago...things started changing. For starters, I had three separate occasions within the last few months where I ordered a large dark roast coffee, paid, and drove off only to find my coffee was LITERALLY room temperature. The first time surprised me. Second time disappointed me. Third time was a deal-breaker. Or so I thought. I find myself standing inside the establishment as I type these words, only to share an additional disappointing experience. Ordered the usual (dark roast) only to be told they didn't have any made. Ok, fair enough. Not a huge deal to wait for a fresh pot. However, the girl taking my order had to ask me 2-3 times if I wanted cream and sugar, after telling initially before she asked. I have noticed a decline in the quality of employees here. Not so much at the other surrounding Dunkin locations. Go to the one on Marine Blvd, near Philips Park. MUCH better service in my opinion. Gum branch location is great too. This location, however, has directed me elsewhere. Management needs to step up! read more

This Dunkin' Donuts is really great. They weren't so good when I first moved to town, but I think they switched management teams or something, and now they are very attentive and friendly. They are pretty quick, too, unlike the Starbucks in Jacksonville, which always has a slow-moving line wrapped around the building. read more

Well I can say that at least the food is served hot but the time to get it at the drive thru is unbelievably slow. Not to mention when you pull up to the window the employees still ask you what you order. I am not impressed with the service now as I used to be before they remodeled the Dunkin Donuts to add the Baskin Robbins...although it shouldn't matter because no one is really ordering ice cream at 6 in the morning. Holy moly, ordering was painful and after multiple times repeating a simple ice cream order they still got it wrong.

Customer service can definitely use improving. I understand at times places get busy but your customer service shouldn't drop. Today I was there not during a rush hour or anything. I asked for some ketchup and the worker told me where the ketchup packets were at. I told her there are no more over there (I already looked before asking) she told me I needed to look again. I clearly know what ketchup packets look like. I said ma'am there are no more over there. She tells me to look under the cabinet and in a box there are more. Sooo dunkin. What can I say. I loved you as a kid and you will always be a staple but you really ned to put more into your management staffs. Today was the worst experience Ive had in a long time at just about any establishment and I generally have alot of patience and live and let live. I walked in and patiently waited to be greeted, it never came, an elderly white gentlemen came in behind me and was served before I was. I mention ethnicity only because of what happens next. After he is served the waittress walks off and doesnt even acknowledge me. The other one at the register not 2 feet from me said "if she doesnt come back to help you I will in a bit, im counting our tip money right now" five mins later the other waitress comes back looks past me and asks the white lady behind me if shes ready to order. As I speak up she acts startled to see me as if she couldnt see me right in front of her. If I hadn't promised donuts to my office and had more time I would have asked for a manager can them a stern lecture on customer service then walked out. I understand tou may be busy or new or just careless but that type of treatment is unneccesary and probably losing you business if this is a trend. read more

For a coffee place the workers really seemed like they needed some coffee. It took 10 minutes to get our iced coffee. I asked for three espresso shots and the lady looked at me like "are you sure you want three" yes lady. I want my three espresso shots. Then god forbid I ask for some cream and sugar with it too. I think her head about deflated when I did. They should pay more attention to their in store customers and less to the drive through. Very unfortunate. Just came in for our 2 for 5 crossaints (do not get taste like waste) ordered two drinks, waited. They passed over it and my sister had to ask if our drinks were maid.. completely forgot.. they made it right away after but upgraded it to mediums.. while it's a nice questure I didn't want a medium I needed a small like i ordered. If I could leave a no star I would. The Baskin Robbins that is here absolutely sucks. I get that there is a staffing shortage. I don't mind waiting. What I do mind though is them not having the inventory to kinda basic orders. Then when I had to completely change my order, I end up with a stale cone. Not to mention that the signs all on the post say that it's open inside but when you go to open to the door it's locked and you're told it's not open. Just take the signs down? They also don't have the flavors on the ordering board which makes it difficult to order ice cream when you don't know what flavors they had or what they had in stock because you can't go in. Again, I get the staffing shortage but we didn't even really have a long wait in line. I have a problem with them being out of a bunch of things and then serving stale product. My go to spot for frozen coffee. It has the consistency of a Frappe. You can add flavors and whipped cream. Plain w/no whipped cream is my fav. The issue is they mess it up 4 out of 5 times. If I wanted Mocha flavor added, I'd order it! Today they had to remake my large frozen PLAIN coffee 3 times and it still wasn't right!!! NO WHIPPED CREAM MEANS..NO FREAKING WHIPPED CREAM!!! Ugh!!! With as much business as your local hospital gives this business you would think this location happily supports nurses week. However it does not. It instead requires you to purchase something before receiving a free donut. Other locations are offering free coffee to nurses for nurses week. I can't tell you the amount of money that has been spent at this location for meetings and coffee for the staff. Very disappointed in their service. I have a re-useable dunkin coffee cup and they refused to refil my cup, rather they gave me a disposable one (what a waste) that I then had to juggle with my own cup. I ordered one chocolate and one strawberry donut and they piled them on top of each other frosting to frosting resulting in one donut losing half its flavor and the other (my child's donut) being covered in frosting she doesn't like, there for ruining our appetite all around. If I could give this location -5 stars I would. I come to Jacksonville, NC quite often and I'm a seasoned coffee drinker, also a Barista. It's Easter Sunday and just like everyone else I'm planning on spending it with my husband and kids. Well, I make a morning pit-stop at this local Dunkin Donuts. Got 3 large iced mochas, assorted donuts and some breakfast sandwiches seeing that we were going to have a late lunch I prepared for a big breakfast. I go through drive-thru to order because I'm only one person and I definitely couldn't carry all that by myself. I get to the window, pay and hand out my donuts, breakfast sandwiches and lastly my drinks. I set them on my lap and pull forward so the gentlemen behind me could start paying and getting his items. Well, I feel something wet and cold all over my lap, I pick the drinks up and its the iced mochas leaking all over me!!!! Mind you I was wearing my Easter clothes.... The cups were split. So, it not only got all over me, it also got all in my rental. Now you would think that the barista making the drinks would have noticed that 2 out of 3 iced cups were split? I mean, I guess not though since all they care about is window times instead of customer satisfaction. Steer clear of this location. The one on North Marine BLVD is MUCH better. read more
