The employees at this store do not know how to work a drive-thru. Expect to spend 15-20 minutes in line.

"I walked in, the baker said everything was sold I found out…read moreshe saved me some sweet jelly roll Yes, the baker shop boogie" (Willie Nix) Definitely a worthwhile visit! The store is pretty large with an oversized bakery display case showing off their classic bakery goods - think gorgeous cakes, pastries, and cookies. And to make your visit even more worthwhile is a restaurant with a sweet breakfast and lunch menu. We visited yesterday and had a very nice breakfast in their large dining room. There is plenty of seating and plenty of parking too. I had a Veggie Breakfast Burrito ($10.50) with sauteed onions, peppers, spinach, grilled portobello mushrooms, American cheese, and diced tomatoes on a spinach tortilla, It was excellent and the size of that burrito made it a decent value for the price. My wife had a $7.49 Ham, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich with an additional $1 bagel surcharge. It was a big bagel, and as you can see from our photo, there were three big ham slices included. Very good coffees were $3.59 each. On the way out, those gorgeous pastries in the showcase whispered sweet nothings in my ear, and helpless to resist, we ordered an Apple Pocket ($2.99) and a Chocolate Croissant ($3.25). How reasonable are those prices? We also saw that Marlborough has a refrigerated case with Grab and Go meals and stuffed breads. They are open from 6AM - 6PM on weekdays and 6AM - 3PM on weekends. We are now fans.

The omelet came with two thick slices of delicious rye bread and a generous serving of home fries. I ended up buying a rye bread to take home as well as a banana crème pie.The pie was phenomenal and well worth the $ 20 price. The coffee was perfect! The case was packed with other delicious and cakes. It's a 30 minute drive, but I will be back for sure!

They have only a very small selection of middle eastern food, the rest of the menu was donuts and deli sandwiches. The donuts looked great also, but I was only interested in the middle eastern food. Great little place to stop. It's a very plain little deli restaurant, no esthetics. The staff were two teenagers, I'm guessing family ownership. They were polite and got the job done. I would definitely eat here again when passing through.

When you enter there is a good sized dining room followed by a breakfast and lunch menu. The front cases display a variety of donuts and some baked goods. There is also a refrigerated case displaying freshly made hummus etc that they not only use to make their menu items but that you can purchase to take home similar to How you would at a deli. Once you decide on your order it is placed at the counter. You are able to sit down and the order is brought out. After eating you pay for your meal at the counter. This is a casual and relaxing dining experience with lots of flavor that you do not want to miss. "Now this is what Colchester needs."

However, if I was going to rate this on the latte I had or the location - I'd give it 4-5 stars. It's right near a hiking trail so good stop. You order from an outside counter & there are tables on the street. Is this just a seasonal place? My latte was really good, however the avocado toast had a piece of plastic in it (the owner did say 'sorry' when I told her) & at $10 for 1 piece of toast, avocado (there was a lot) & and some micro greens with a good balsamic glaze - apparently the piece of plastic came from the dressing container) it was disappointing. My daughter had a small grain bowl for $14 & an iced blueberry matcha that was pretty/colorful. So would I go here again? Yes - limiting to a coffee/latte. (Fyi - lots of bees around counter when you order at this time of year)

The quality of the trees is great - 5-6 years and we've never had a bad tree. They're full, look green and healthy until the New Year and smell amazing. Backdrop cutouts, the tractor, and a grow line are other photo stops that keep you coming back. One heads up that admission doubles on weekends, but $8 per person wasn't terrible, and there's a discount if you buy hayride and Pumpkin Town tickets together. Pumpkin facts are all over pumpkin town (pumpkins are hand-painted, costumed each year, and stored nightly, etc.) and it's a fun scavenger hunt for these facts. Jumping houses, tubes, and interactive houses were the best parts for our little one. Credit/debit users, remember to bring cash for postcards as you can send them postmarked from Pumpkin Town, autumn treats like cider donuts and popcorn at the snack stand, and the catapults over the pond aimed at Red Sox and Yankees targets (must be a Mets Family here!). Also remember a couple bucks to cash for the breast cancer donation box, in memory of Sandy herself. Having to bring cash isn't my favorite but there was a farm stand and snack bar with souvenirs where cards could be used. Pumpkin Town is part folk art installation, part amusement park, part harvest fair, and a fun tradition. I only wish they had a Santa Town each winter...

Pumpkinhead people are scarecrows with faces painted on the pumpkins as heads. They're creative and cute. There are two venues, The Forest and The Village. The Village is a walk through and it takes about an hour for $7. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; church, saloon, bank, post office, fire house, etc. The Forest is a one mile drive through and takes about 20 minutes for $25. There are about 30 pumpkinheads with different scenes; coal mine, schoolyard, and more. The ride is narrated, there's a scavenger hunt, and you can buy treats for the ride, such as popcorn, cider, and cider donuts. They also have multiple shops onsite. The harvest store has produce, gourmet food items, souvenirs, and gifts. The garden center has annuals, perennials, shrubs, etc. The main store has hardware, house plants, pet supplies, and a Christmas shop etc. Around Thanksgiving, they open up for the Christmas season and the pumpkinheads are waiting to be viewed via drive by, in their holiday spirit. My family and I went last weekend to The Village. The kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed walking through and seeing all the pumpkinheads. They did a great job with the scenery and putting the pumpkinheads together. There were many photos ops. I especially loved the pumpkinhead wedding. For the kids, they had a hay bale maze, inflated tires to jump around on, a spider web rope playscape, and an area where they can shoot soft balls into a pond. They also were selling fresh to order apple cider donuts; picnic tables were available to sit on. The parking lot was large and they had people guide us where to park; they even had a police officer as a crossing guard. They have a seamless operation and this place is worth a visit!
