The employees at this store do not know how to work a drive-thru. Expect to spend 15-20 minutes in line.

There are plenty of cozy places to sit both inside and outside, and today they even had a musician performing on the patio, which made for such a relaxing atmosphere. We ordered breakfast and iced coffee from the café. The Brown Sugar Maple Croissant Breakfast Sandwich was absolutely delicious! Even though the café was very busy, the ordering line moved quickly, and they brought our drinks and food right to our table--a really nice touch. We also stopped by the bakery. Even later in the morning, there was still a great selection of baked goods. We brought home strawberry lemonade muffins to enjoy tomorrow, and I can't wait to try them. The general store was filled with adorable locally made products, along with a nice selection of take-and-bake meals that we'll definitely be coming back for. The entire property is thoughtfully designed with charming little seating areas scattered throughout. It's the kind of place where you want to slow down, relax, and spend a while exploring. One tip: the front parking lots are small, but there's a much larger parking area in the back. This is definitely a new favorite for us, and we'll be back again soon!

The store is pretty large with an oversized bakery display case showing off their classic bakery goods - think gorgeous cakes, pastries, and cookies. And to make your visit even more worthwhile is a restaurant with a sweet breakfast and lunch menu. We visited yesterday and had a very nice breakfast in their large dining room. There is plenty of seating and plenty of parking too. I had a Veggie Breakfast Burrito ($10.50) with sauteed onions, peppers, spinach, grilled portobello mushrooms, American cheese, and diced tomatoes on a spinach tortilla, It was excellent and the size of that burrito made it a decent value for the price. My wife had a $7.49 Ham, Egg & Cheese breakfast sandwich with an additional $1 bagel surcharge. It was a big bagel, and as you can see from our photo, there were three big ham slices included. Very good coffees were $3.59 each. On the way out, those gorgeous pastries in the showcase whispered sweet nothings in my ear, and helpless to resist, we ordered an Apple Pocket ($2.99) and a Chocolate Croissant ($3.25). How reasonable are those prices? We also saw that Marlborough has a refrigerated case with Grab and Go meals and stuffed breads. They are open from 6AM - 6PM on weekdays and 6AM - 3PM on weekends. We are now fans.

The omelet came with two thick slices of delicious rye bread and a generous serving of home fries. I ended up buying a rye bread to take home as well as a banana crème pie.The pie was phenomenal and well worth the $ 20 price. The coffee was perfect! The case was packed with other delicious and cakes. It's a 30 minute drive, but I will be back for sure!

The wait staff was quick to set a hot coffee my table. Very nice and prompt with my requests was much appreciated. They cool specials like pork chilaquiles which is a Mexican breakfast dish. They offer standard breakfast fare as well. I went with western omelette on this stop. The portion was very good and all was very fresh and hot. My only ding will be the home fries were somehow charred and a bit undercooked odd combo for sure. My coffee was very good and refilled regularly. Parking for this location is limited and shared with other businesses. It can be challenging during peak times. Overall, I enjoyed my breakfast and the service.

The cafe is located in what I would describe as a refinished garage (maybe it used to be an auto repair shop?) so it has a very nice open feel with high ceilings. It doesn't exactly feel cozy but I wasn't uncomfortable by any means. From outside you can look right into the nice clean kitchen and see the friendly staff working hard. Our server was very friendly and never rushed us. Coffee was nice and strong. My eggs came out perfect and their corned beef hash is delicious! When we left the workers from the kitchen went out of their way to thank us for coming in and we thought that was a nice touch. If you're in the area I would highly recommend this clean and delicious breakfast spot!

There is indoor seating and…read moretwo bathrooms, but we always go when the weather is nice to enjoy the weather and picnic tables around the little pond. On my most recent visit, I got a gluten free roll which was about a small hamburger size, and when your order online from a picnic table and are texted when it's ready, the food is all bagged up to go (in fairness, they don't know your online order is being made from the property) and the lobster is in it's own little cup, so that your bread isn't soggy by the time you open it to eat it. It's not a big portion, but I mean I don't remember the last time I got a lobster roll that was as big as I wished it was, unless it was a spot that offered regular or jumbo. The sweet potato fries are great and would help fill you up if you got it with the roll, but since i knew I'd be ordering again for ice cream later, I kept it light and opted for a free side of cucumbers (fries and onion rings are an up-charge, think there are more too I just can't recall what they are now). They are also BYOB, and everything we've tried has been good! I'll be back and love spending and afternoon here! The ice cream is Gifford's, not home made, in case you were wondering. Check them out! I also really enjoyed the rope swing in the past, though forgot to even look and see if it was still there last weekend.

Only about a half-hour away from me is Jessica's Garden. Here's why my wife and I love coming here... Atmosphere/Appearance: Kind of out in the sticks is this gem, but many benefits of that are that there's private parking and plenty of it. Up the hill from where you park is where you go to order your food. You walk up to the counter to check out the menu or you can order from your phone. Hint, if you check-in on Yelp you may get a coupon to use online! Once you order you won't really be notified so just go to the other window around the corner from where you ordered to pick up your food. There's plenty of picnic table style seating and so much property to explore. There's woods back to check out and this place is just so peaceful. It's also... BYOB. That's what's most important. Lol, especially with a liquor store right up the street. Service: There really isn't any since you go order your own food then go pick it right back up. Food: It's a pretty simple menu here. The lobster roll is what you want. Yes, it can be pricy, but lobster just is. However, it's amazing. The lobster is soft, tender, succulent and of course, buttery. You do have to assemble the roll yourself since everything here is sold as a to-go order. It kinda makes sense. I've also had some wings and onion rings here. They're okay, nothing to write home about, but good enough for me to get each time I visit. Value: Moderate. Easily affordable, nothing crazy and the fact that it's B.Y.O.B. makes it WAY better! Lol. In conclusion, Jessica's Garden is my duck-off spot where I go if I wanna eat outdoors, am craving a lobster roll and I just wanna chill. Check this place out guys and continue to support these local businesses!
