Cozy, Eclectic Atmosphere! Visited for iced coffees on a leisurely Sunday afternoon about 2pm. Pleasantly active but not too busy. Variety of seating options from cafe style with small table, to soft, upholstered chairs, to a couple stools at the small counter bar. Bright lighting by the massive shop-front window, or more mood-lit via unique industrial and unique lamp lighting throughout. Electric fireplace provided additional cozy visual ambiance. Live plants everywhere further enhance homey vibes and encourage a longer stay. Walk-up style To-Go window at sidewalk was active with dog-walkers and village shoppers. Ok - I'm giving this 3 stars for a couple of reasons - there was plastic in my food & pretty pricey food. However, if I was going to rate this on the latte I had or the location - I'd give it 4-5 stars. It's right near a hiking trail so good stop. You order from an outside counter & there are tables on the street. Is this just a seasonal place? My latte was really good, however the avocado toast had a piece of plastic in it (the owner did say 'sorry' when I told her) & at $10 for 1 piece of toast, avocado (there was a lot) & and some micro greens with a good balsamic glaze - apparently the piece of plastic came from the dressing container) it was disappointing. My daughter had a small grain bowl for $14 & an iced blueberry matcha that was pretty/colorful. So would I go here again? Yes - limiting to a coffee/latte. Small coffee shop with a wide array of drink options. They have a couple unique drinks, one of which I tried (a chocolate latte), but I was not the biggest fan. The drink wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special either. They also have 2-3 food options. When I came they had overnight oats, a "Buddha Bowl", and avocado toast. I tried the overnight oats and my parents tried the avocado toast. All of the food was ok, but none of us loved it. The avocado toast did have an egg that was died blue however, which was pretty cool. The place usually has both indoor and outdoor seating, however I came with my parents during COVID and they only had outdoor seating available. The inside looks small but pretty cool however. There is one woman who runs the place and she is not very friendly. This also makes the service pretty slow. 6 read more

First of all, and probably the most important thing, is that the coffee I had was great. Nothing fancy, a decaf hot Americano, but their bourbon vanilla syrup really elevated it. They had some fun, fancy speciality coffees, like ones w/ hibiscus and lavender - not my cup of tea (har har), but I love the innovation and playfulness. They also had some food options but I was just there for the coffee. Street parking out front as well as free municipal parking just past the shop. Really appreciated that they were open as late as 3 on a Saturday when other local places were already closed. However, I was disappointed that they were walk-up only - they have a walk-up window, which is cool, but I was really looking for a spot to nurse a coffee and read a book and, unless I missed it, there was nothing on their website indicating their interior was not open. If I'm ever in town again and I was looking for a drink to go, I'd definitely stop here but pretty bummed about not being able to sit inside. read more

We drove 40 minutes and it was worth it! Everything was delicious. We ordered a hot and an iced Mexican with raw cacao and cinnamon. I've honestly never had anything like it. All the flavors came through without it being overly sweet. I also had the avocado toast with stracciatella OMG it was so good!!! And Dudes Donuts parked in front was the icing on the cake. As a new resident to east Hampton I needed a new coffee spot. This place has the cutest little walk up window perfect to grab and go right in the village. My favorite warmer weather ritual is grabbing a favored oat milk latte and hitting the airline trail! Owner makes all the syrups herself (and whipped cream- get the whipped cream YUM!) and they are delightful! Usually she has a fun seasonal drink/flavor. The only place in a large radius where you can get a decent latte. You go to a window outside to order and they do take credit cards. I got the black walnut latte which I believe uses some maple syrup in it. Let me just say, Susan knows exactly what she's doing. I've been to my fair share of coffee shops across the country, and Eco is one of the best and my favorites. I've made a special effort to travel here (and plan on continuing to do so] because I love it's good vibe, it's fabulous bitchy barista (hashtag that], it's comfortable atmosphere, and (most obviously] it's delicious lattes. Hold up for a second--that homemade caramel that Susan herself makes?! Luscious!! There is no other word that can so perfectly depict what it is. Be jealous, reader, because she gave me a small little cup of some once and I got to lick my spoon clean of it. All right, let's get back. The shop houses not only coffee, but a little boutique with items made from locals that have small businesses. Small businesses within a small business? Yup!! You got that right. Pretty cool. I got a beautiful birdhouse made from bowling alley floorboards once. How funky and amazing!! Once you peak around, settle in with coffee. These lattes are so well done. The flavors are all homemade and crafted to perfection. Did I mention that caramel? I sit at the bar right next to the machines so I can stalk--I mean, chat with--Susan while she waits on others and crafts drinks. I had been following Eco Coffee House on Instagram and thought their coffees and drinks looked delicious. We chose to take the drive out to Eco on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon to try their fun Poison Apple cocktail special. Featuring edible glitter, gorgeous red apple vodka, local maple syrup and apple cider, this drink was just a fun to look at as it was to drink. It was the perfect drink to kick off a late October afternoon and evening. My husband had the Café Miel which he enjoyed very much. He said he loved the change up from sugar to having coffee with honey - Miel means honey in Spanish. The owner, Susan, was fun! We chatted for a bit about what she had on her menu. I was looking for something to eat while I enjoyed my cocktail. She told us about her house made pub cheese, made with beer. It was excellent! Delicious flavors and very unique. We enjoyed that with some crackers. Susan also had an amazing soup on her menu that afternoon- chorizo, potatoes, beer.. it was such a delicious combination and again, perfect for a late October afternoon. As of now, Eco is just window service only. There are a few tables to sit at outside. On a gorgeous day, we enjoyed sipping our drinks and the quaint little area of East Hampton. I keep seeing Susan's amazing food and drink items.. she's got some great specials for November. We hope to be back soon! Go check this place out. :) read more

Beyond the coffee which hits the spot ( had an Americano with oat milk) Susan has her own concoction of teas... the " Blemon " which is Blueberry and lemon cold tea... is incredible... I swear I've never tasted anything so good and her peach tea. I think it's on tap cold. This is a unique place. If you come to East Hampton do not leave without trying the " Blemon ". An oasis for vegetarians! After days of eating pasta and grilled cheese I was really yearning for some plant-based protein and this place saved me. I got the Buddha bowl (hummus, chickpeas, and avocado, oh my!). All of the produce (tomates and micro greens) were fresh and high quality. The horchata iced latte was good, and with hand made chocolate whipped cream which made it really special. Outside seating is pretty nice except for the big trucks roaring by. No indoor seating at the moment. I highly recommend you to try it out! read more

I hesitated to write this review, but after scrolling through some other 1-star reviews, I decided it was time! Went in during the Holiday Stroll to try out this new-ish establishment. I was excited to see a new coffee place in the town center - it seems like it has been a while since there's been a coffee place amongst the shops. I went in and had to wait several minutes as the person who I assume is the owner was chatting with the couple in front of me. Finally it is my turn to order and I was greeted with a gruff personality. I went to order my latte with skim milk and was told they only carry whole milk from a local farm. She went on to say that if I was ordering skim lattes elsewhere they were probably putting an additive in the drink in order to get the milk to froth. Needless to say I didn't need the lecture. I should've walked out at that point but decided to give it a shot - I think the entire experience left a sour taste in my mouth because I didn't think the drink tasted good, and wound up throwing it away when I got home. read more

ECO consistently is in incapable of maintaining the US flag on the outside of the building. Amazing that the other 2 flags (UK and Pride) are always hung properly. If they can't be respectful of the flag, I would question their ability to run a business. With that said, their coffee is way over priced and mediocre. You're better off going to Cumberland Farms for a better coffee that will cost you 1/5 the price. read more

I stumbled upon this little gem on a recent trip to East Hampton. I'm not much of a coffee drinker but figured I'd give it a try since it's homemade and most of the ingredients are organic. I ordered a decaf Cafe Miel which is espresso, local honey, cinnamon and infused milk. It was so incredibly delicious I drove back (30 minutes from my house!) the following week for another. While speaking with the friendly owner, she suggested I try her pumpkin spice latte because it's only available for a limited time. I took her suggestion and I'm so glad I did because it was the best I've ever had in my life!! It puts those big chain coffee places to shame! Not a big coffee drinker but their Instagram makes me drool. Its a far ride for us so we've only been twice. (First time we went when Dudes donuts was parked outside & that was worth the drive in itself) we were finally coming home that way the other day after a night over at the casino so I convinced hubby to stop to buy a gift-card for a family member. Unfortunately They don't sell them. That was OK because I have been wanting to try their soup forever & I luckily got one of the last cups. It wasn't as beer cheesy as it looked in all the insta ads. I was sadly not a huge fan. & I was a bit shocked at the price. For $20 We got one soup and one coffee and the coffee was 5.50. So the soup must have been like $14? It was a decent size i guess & I know they use quality ingredients so I get it. Hubby ordered a Mexican cacao. I tried it and it was OK. The adult beverages seem more intriguing to me but I don't understand how it works since they are just a walk up window. There are not really any tables outside either. And who wants alcohol before 3 when you have stuff you gotta get done on your days off from work. If they were open later I would come back to try one of their fancy drinks but for now I will just unfollow their insta. It is in a cool little area with consignment shops nearby.
