Normally matcha stuff tastes like grass to me but it was really well balanced with the vanilla. Neither was overpowering and it made it a very refreshing dessert. Great for a little open privacy. The couches are quite comfortable as well. They have punch cards which is good, but I'm terrible with remembering so it would be great if they went digital with rewards. Maybe 1 point per visit or 1 point per $1 with tiered rewards. The space is cozy but large enough for several tables, a couch, a table offering up free books, a shelf filled with magazines, and even board games. Great idea, it caught our eye and we decided to check it out. Nice & cozy feel, with an Edison theme, small, but plenty of seating. The owner was friendly, and made a good cup of coffee. He pointed out that they had an early Edison invention by the door which was cool. We sat on the comfy sofa people watching while sipping our coffee up until the Park opened. Another day, I stopped in to pick up drinks to go for a day trip car ride. An Americano for him (again) and a Mocha Latte for me with almond milk.
