If you'd like to sit to stay and eat, you put your name down, but you still have to go up to the counter to place your order. We ordered a falafel bowl and a shashuka. No complaints on either, the bowl is very filling!

5 star all day everyday. Our fav pot by far. Food is clean, fresh and soulful. You can't go wrong here. Location is convenient and even better if you live close by. Been cooking for a while and are always impressed with the quality and consistency. Our third time this week.

I've been there several times over the past few years and it's always a delight! The food is unique and tasty, the ambiance is a little small for my taste so I usually opt for take out, and the service is always 10/10! It's a family-owned and ran business and they take pride in being efficient. They will always be my go-to when I'm in the area.

Popped in here for lunch. Parking not ideal. Tables are first come first serve. Order and pay and then grab your number and find your table/seat. Staff is super friendly. A bright airy modern flare inside. So many dishes... a variety of breakfast and lunch options with Mediterranean flair. French toast with the whipped cream phenomenal. Lamb gyro amazing and the Greek salad is HUGE. Had two of their wraps the club was pretty good but the other lacked flavor. Would definitely check it out again if in the area.

Fantastic and innovative. The Mediterranean inspired breakfast dishes are special and the standard fair is done with great care... hey... that rhymes! Seriously the people are as nice as the food is great!!

I visited Jackie and Sons twice in one week, and each visit was a treat! For breakfast, I tried the beef scramble--the pine nuts added such a fantastic flavor twist. Everything tasted incredibly fresh. I also couldn't resist their pastries; the lemon blueberry and carrot cake were absolutely divine. A few days later, I returned for lunch and had the kebab combo. Another winner! The flavors were robust, and the portion was just right. To complement the meal, I enjoyed a smooth cortado and a cappuccino that truly hit the spot. The atmosphere feels modern and welcoming, making it a great spot to relax. The staff is so friendly and helpful, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Parking was easy to find--there's paid street parking, or you can park in the area right behind the store off Route 510. Jackie and Sons is a gem in South Orange, NJ. Highly recommend for anyone seeking delicious food, great service, and a cozy yet modern vibe!

The cool spot is located within minutes of Seton Hall University (South Orange, New Jersey). The service is great. Everyone is very friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered French Toast, a side of bacon, two eggs, and a raspberry lemon scone. The portions are plentiful. I wasn't expecting a side of bacon to be a bowl full of bacon (yes!!!). And the amount of whipped cream, wow!!! Everything was delicious. We also ordered the Very Berry smoothie. It wasn't our favorite, but it did not ruin what was an excellent meal. I highly recommend this cozy spot for a awesome breakfast and/or an excellent treat.

Food is good but one time I had a green strand of hair in my Muesli Bowl, which I had to throw the bowl away.

    Do they take reservations?

Don't think so. Great food & service. Some tables inside & out. We did take out

You tip? No waiter service but food brought to table.

    I tip a small amount.

She put the order right and it did come out soon. It is very nice and interesting in there. Finally got to experience this place after hearing of it for more than 2+ years! I've heard at…read moretimes this Coffee spot can be pretty packed, so I feel like I came on a really good day. First off: Service. I told the employee that this was my first time there, and they were more-than-happy to help me make a decision for my order. Patient and walked me through. Second: The Food. Let's get into it. 1) Cassava Latte ($7.50) - I was so pleasantly suprised at this drink; described as "(i)nspired by the Filipino dessert cake, made with condensed milk and coconut." The first sip, and I was intrigued! It was perfectly sweet, and the perfect mix of that coconut-dessert taste that cassava typically delivers! It tasted genuine, if that's possible. 2) Sinigang Croquette ($5.00) - This was interesting. Described as "Pork and Gabi (taro) shaped into a patty, rolled in Japanese bread crumbs, and deep fried. Served with our in-house sawsawan (dipping sauce)", it hit all the right notes. To be honest? $5.00 for 1 felt a bit steep. I'd pay $7.50 for two, though! 3) Boy Bawang Shio Pan ($7.50) - This was the most curious of all my purchases. Described as an "(i)n-house salt bread rolled in garlic and corn crumbs, filled with roasted garlic butter, topped with corn cheese whip. Inspired by the popular Filipino snack: Boy Bawang. THIS ITEM I SING ITS PRAISES. I am an absolute lover of the Boy Bawang Garlic Flavor Corn Snack --- much more pungent than anything Corn Nuts could ever offer. This Shio Pan absolutely delivered with its roasted garlic flavor! And as soon as you take a few bites ---- you get hit with that roasted garlic butter --- and let me tell you, they are not shy about their filling! Absolute master class --- but it's only for a limited run. You should definitely try! Third: Ambiance - The Cafe is quaint --- and has a seating area that could maybe fit between 18-24 people? It's just along the side of the business, but I managed to get a table for myself. Ayala, you did not disappoint! Can't wait to try your Sisig Flatbread for the next round!

I had the sisig flatbread and the pork croquette. The sisig flatbread had very unique and complex flavors. I thought it was very creative. The croquette was fresh and tasty, but it was truly the sauce that came with it that was the star of the show. It bold and vinegary and tasted great with the sisig flat bread as well. I tried a bit of my friend's pandan waffle and it was quite tasty! I could really taste the pandan. Now the bad. The ube latte was mediocre. I asked for mine with matcha, but I really couldn't even taste the matcha. I think next time I might try their other drinks to see if there is a difference. However, I was really expecting better. Overall: I'd say the food is better than the drinks, which is a bit of a disappointment because I was hoping for both to be out of this world. The service was good and the staff was very kind. I also enjoyed the vibe of the restaurant as well.
