Dunkin' Donuts is perhaps the hallmark chain one thinks of when they think donuts. And as of yet I've never been disappointed whenever I eat my all time fave donut-the boston creme. So this negative review is not about the product, nor the location because they are smartly situated next door to CNU and Riverside hospital. This location is clean although very small with a tight squeeze continuing into the parking lots. My review is about the customer service here...or rather the way the employees treat each other. I can somewhat tolerate when one or two employees are moody or snappy but its another thing when employees behave so poorly that it just becomes straight up awkward for customers. The manager or supervisor chick here is just plain mean. I went here with my mom and sister to order a dozen donuts already on display. I should have known something was up when I came in and one customer was avoiding eye contact with the dude at the register. It was eerily quite. Anyway, to make things short one of the employees got an order wrong and the paying client pointed it out shyly saying he didn't mind waiting for a new batch. The supervisor was pissed off at the cashier and just threw the new donuts in the trash. She exchanged some angry words and stormed off. She returned to ring us up and just threw the donuts into the box and shoved the box at us, storming off again. The original cashier just stood there in shock...like what the hell just happened. Ordered a medium iced coffee with 1 sweet and low . I had to repeat the order probably 5 times . I understand mistakes happen but was the only customer there inside or out . I received my coffee and the sticker said medium iced with 3 creams and no mention of sweet and low . The coffee was so light and .had no sweet and low so I took it inside and was told she would add a sweet and low so. Very disappointed with our experience at the CNU Dunkin. We ordered a coffee, an egg a cheese sandwich, and a sausage egg and cheese sandwich. Along with 2 hashbrowns. We only got 1 hash brown set and the egg and cheese had sausage on it even though it wasn't supposed to. The customer service was ok. But the sandwiches were lukewarm at best. The sausage flavor was not great. The drink and hash browns were good though. They did not offer us extra hashbrowns or anything else to make up for the several mistakes in the order. read more

For starters it's 105° today and it honestly feels like 120 I went through the drive-through and ordered a refresher they didn't have the refresher that I wanted so I got a different flavor. They told me they were out of stock... and I asked for an additional water they charge a dollar for water... most businesses for example Starbucks gives water for free they don't charge extra dollar and I've been through this drive-through before and they've given me an extra water or extra cup of ice and it was never an issue free of charge . Maybe they just didn't know the policy, but then everyone needs to be aware and maybe they should put a cup of water on the menu $1 so people really know ahead of time !!!! read more

The service here is extremely slow and the parking lot does not accommodate sitting here for an extended time. The people who park cannot pull out and the people waiting in the drive-through have nowhere to move to let them out. This happens every time I stop at this location in the morning. I stopped buying sandwiches a couple of years ago cuz they were so bad but because I was near them and wanted breakfast I ordered a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel and cream cheese. They have gone from bad to horrible. Whole sandwich was cold even the cheese was just slapped on cold not melted. The bacon was uncooked at one end and burnt at the other end. Bagel was so so cheap tasting and not toasted. I see why there were no lines like it used to be. The clerk at the window was dry and let you know he did not care about the customer. read more

I have not been to a Dunkin in many years. They have a lot of milk alternatives and a couple of healthier breakfast choices, not many. The large coffee is like a big gulp size. I guess I was not expecting that. It was quick and painless. Service was friendly and my breakfast sandwich was hot. My daughter stopped into the Dunk'n Donuts for coffee for she and I the other morning. When she went to pay she found that her card had been deactivated due to suspected fraudulent activity. Feeling so embarrassed she was prepared to leave without the coffee, however The server told her it was on the house and not to worry about it. Their bagels beg with question, what makes a bagel a bagel? And when is a bagel just around piece of bread with a hole in the middle? The bagel leaves a lot to be desired, both in taste and texture. I decided to do this review bc I saw quality in my purchase today, and quite frankly, it was the BEST EXECUTION OF THE CUPID's CHOICE (my personal fav donut of all time, so I've gotten it in various renditions) I've seen in YEARS!!! I don't come here expecting homemade, fresh-from-the-oven food. I come here expecting Dunkin Donuts. Maybe my lowered expectations are what make each visit such a joy. I've been through the drive-through here several times on my way to work. My service has always been impeccable. Cheery, polite employees are happy to serve. One time, they were out of my favorite coffee syrup, but we laughed through it as I rattled off more flavors that they were simply out of (due to a late shipment). They ended up giving me a free flavor and the whole experience just brightened my day. Breakfast sandwiches have consistently been delicious. I am a hoity toity foodie, but I love me some DD's on a fast-paced day. Where else will you find unsweetened blueberry coffee??? read more

Stopped at Dunkin donuts on Warwick nn It wasn't that good last but this time it was hor-ri-ble. I ordered bacon, egg, and cheese after waiting at the drive thru for 12 minutes. I also ordered hash browns, and a hazelnut coffee. The bagel was the cheapest tasting bagel that was hard as a rock. The sandwich itself was so cold the cheese didn't even melt. The hash brown were super greasy and wet and cold as well. I was hungry but still couldn't eat it. I gave it to my doggie who even had trouble pulling the bagel apart. Speaking as a former employee, the employees, and the manager particularly, talk crap on pretty much any customer that comes through the drive through. It's a very toxic work environment and I would advise anyone to instead patron locally owned businesses rather than this sh*t show. Because of the high turnover rate (due to the above mentioned manager), there are new employees constantly that aren't trained well on making drinks. So chances are, you'll get ridiculed behind the window and receive a drink that isn't even made correctly. read more

I went to this establishment this morning and less than impressed. Not only did it take several tries at the drive thru, the order was completely wrong at the window. We ended up waiting in the drive through you also had an inexperienced person taking orders. I ended up buying one item out of the several I asked for only to try the item and throwing it in the garbage. Unless it was over cooked then it had to be over a day old. PROS -Great location -Friendly staff -Clean environment -Many menu items -Very customizable drinks CONS -Drive-thru orders are often incorrect -Inside staff corrects order in the register a few times before asking for assistance. -Often runs out of Vanilla Cream donuts (my favorite) before 9am. -Often runs out of Cookie Dough flavor for lattes by 9am. -A large window facing the main road has no shade. Sometimes the light is blinding. -Traffic is coming from all directions in that shopping center. Look before you turn. WAYS TO IMPROVE -Install a monitor system at the drive-thru that shows customer what is being ordered. They have this on the inside registers, but there is no way to check outside orders before receiving the items. -Add shades to the windows. -Trains staff better. -Be better stocked with popular items. -When a customer orders a specialty coffee (cookie dough, jamocha, etc), staff should ask if they want the "coffee" or "latte". I have seen many people, including myself, order a cookie dough coffee when meaning a latte. RECOMMENDATIONS -Order inside! Watch the register screen, carefully, as they enter your order. -Check items before leaving. Look at food, taste the drinks. They have often rung up a latte and given me a coffee, with flavor, cream and sugar. -If you want a Latte, say "Latte". They advertise their seasonal flavors as lattes on the pictures. But if you don't specify "Latte" they will give you coffee with that flavor. Even if you say "Latte", they may enter is as a coffee. Waited for a solid 3 minutes in the drivethru at the speaker until someone was able to take my order. Placed my order and was given a price. Drove around where the same gentleman who had taken my order had to ask me again for my order and put it in the register. Then waited and was handed a to-go bag. Drove off and had someone else's meal in my bag. I am very understanding that these mix up's happen, so I ran back inside with the bag explaining that I was accidentally handed the wrong meal. I just had the grossest experience. Got to Dunkin Donuts at 7am and they had two girls working the front counter who didn't speak any English. I know it's bad to wish they did. But it would have been a lot easier to ORDER DONUTS if they had understood what we were saying. There was a lot of pointing, repeating, "yes. no, back up... right there! No, Chocolate frosted. No. The chocolate frosted. Not maple. No no, it's on the 2nd shelf. Frosted!" ...etc. I understand everyone needs to work so whatever. I could be patient with that. What I couldn't stand was what happened next. Now I don't know the employee names so I'm including descriptions... The shorter young Asian girl with glasses and a long pony tail that hung half way down her back helped us with our donut order. We ordered 1 dozen donuts. I don't know how many times her pony tail draped into our donuts and dragged across our donuts because I only noticed it at the last minute while I was paying the cashier. I called the manager over because when I said something to the cashier she and the other girl just stared at us. They didn't really speak English...we had to do a lot of pointing and repeating to get her to understand what we wanted... and because frankly I was angry and grossed out. I told the manager, a large African American man, about the pony tail and told him he might want to tell her to put it into a bun??? He mumbled "oh really? ok" and that was it. He did NOTHING. Didn't offer me new donuts, didn't apologize. Did nothing. So now I have a dozen donuts that girl's hair has been all over and we're going to eat them. I may vomit. Unfortunately, this is the closest one to where I live. I will from now on drive rather than stop in here. They don't understand the concept of a meal including hash browns. I have ordered a breakfast sandwich meal from here three times and been given just the sandwich. If this just happened once I could understand but almost every time I've ordered from here? Something is wrong with the workers at that point. One time I had to wait longer than needed for a breakfast sandwich. I believe that was the only time they actually got my meal order correct though. There were several workers there but it seemed like Lorenzo (I think that was his name) was the only one who actually knew what he was doing. He seemed frustrated at that fact as well and I don't blame him. So, I've given this Dunkin donuts several chances to prove to me the previous times were just mistakes. I go here every day on my way to work. I see you have a new girl there she is very nice but I'm sure she wont last. She is the only one I see running around and the other workers just stand there. Today I went in. That poor girl was working by her self. Not only did she have the window she was making all the drinks and food. Plus taking care of ppl like me that came into the store.
