This Dunkin in Norway Maine is by far the worst Dunkin I have ever been to. I have countless stories to prove this point but this review would be longer than a Stephen King book. The first incident was when I arrived at 10am on a Tuesday morning, ordered my coffee after waiting for 15 minutes just to get to speaker. Then, after another 20 minutes I arrived at the window and was told that my $10 bill would not be accepted due to a small tear in the top of the bill. I was told they could not accept this, the manager would not talk to me and was given the most rude, awful treatment of my life. I left, went to the Dunkin 3 minutes down the road and had a coffee in my hand within 5 minutes paying with that exact bill. Next, the parking lot there is so badly designed it congests during the busiest times to where cars can no longer pull through and creates a traffic issue. It does not help this is the slowest Dunkin I have ever been to. Waiting up to an hour at times for a drink. The area is always covered in trash, the trashcans always overflowing and just a general unpleasantness to the area that detracts from the otherwise nice landscaping and property surrounding it. I have stories from others but will only share my experiences here. The general manager, is the heart of these issues. I have personally watched her berate her employees, undermine them, and all around abuse them on several occasions. She is rude, cold, and unwelcoming to customers. I personally have waited over 15 minutes in the store, as she was making my order, and then received attitude and a very rude answer when asking when I could expect it, in a polite way, because I was trying to see if I had time to run out to my car. This location has run out of everything from creamer and sugar, to ice and coffee itself all because of the general managers lack of experience and poor inventory ordering skills. From my experiences the employees are miserable and the business as a whole is held together by strings all stemming back to said manager. This is truly a case study for anyone curious what a failure of both manager and business look like. For the record, I have been here less than 50 times and have this much to say. Everyone locally has a horror story of this Dunkin and most steer clear entirely and go to one of the better ones that are less than a 10 minute drive in about any direction. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place unless you want to come be amazed at the spectacle of the worst business I have ever set foot in. read more
