This is such a cute classic coffee shop. I've been 3 times now, and enjoyed everything that I've tried. I haven't tried studying there, but it's a nice place to catch up with a friend. The atmosphere is cozy, not too loud and not too quiet, so it seems like a nice spot to sit awhile. They have monthly specials which have been delicious, and I look forward to seeing what they come up with next!

They warm it up for you, which allows for the croissant to have that flakey crunch to it paired with the pistachio paste.

Comfy conversation chairs, a booth banquette with chairs on the other side, chairs and tables, and a bar top along the windows with outside eating for warm sunny days. The cups are a rich brown color with gold probably Arabic writing. The dessert case is filled with sumptuous fruit shaped mousse desserts. The coffee itself is beyond compare. There are boxed games. Things are delivered to your table on wooden trays. It's so elegant. I cannot say enough nice things. The staff is so friendly. I had a Nutella latte and a raspberry dessert. I asked which dessert was best, the lady at the register said the mango. Mango is not my thing but she said next best is raspberry. It's the perfect size. A hard crisp shell, creamy mousse and a perfect raspberry center. I also got a pistachio latte. Both were excellent.

They were happy to do this and just let me know it might take a moment longer to make. The wait was not long at all and the drink was delicious. The dried yuzu was a nice touch. There isn't a lot of seating and the space is a bit small. It seems to be situated best for small groups to sit around a small table and talk. It's the perfect place to sit and catch up with a friend, but I probably wouldn't study here. Again, a super cute vibe. I got the newly famous Breakfast in Vermont latte, and it was delicious. The other drinks looked great too, so I'd love to try them in the future.

While completing my Master's degree at St John Fisher University, I would go here to study and work (because who doesn't love a change of scenery every once and a while??) I have tried a variety of their coffee flavors here and can confirm that they never miss. They are always the perfect size, color, and flavor. It's honestly a must go location everytime I visit Rochester now since I've moved away from my hometown. I also appreciate as someone with Celiac that they have gluten free options (like bagels and sandwiches) and have always felt safe eating here! The expansion was much needed, as I had some crowded previous experiences and found this to be one of the downsides of the location. The expansion has truly helped the shop to reach its full potential. The demand was clearly visible as I stopped in around 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night and found it was quite busy, with patrons coming and going. I ordered a strawberry refresher and found a cozy reading spot. The barista who took my order was so sweet. I really enjoyed her kind personality. As always the dessert case was filled with appetizing treats, though I did not indulge during this visit, I love getting a look at them. They are always pretty. So happy to see Albunn doing well, as it as a great addition to East avenue. The shop has great hours (love being able to get drinks in the evening) and seems to be enjoyed by the community.

I looked around at the swag, local soaps and pastries while I waited. I noticed the building is fully accessible, no steps to get inside and room for a wheel chair/walker to fit at any of the tables. A one-person bathroom is available too. Chris greeted me warmly and told me they've been open since October but are not usually open on Mondays - she's open today for the eclipse! There were donuts and cookies from local bakeries, but I refrained and only ordered my latte. She has whole milk, skim milk, oat or almond milk as well as flavors. Chris has a latte art maker and added a special "solar eclipse 24" design to my latte - very cool! I will definitely stop back for another latte and a treat! Great
