I went in to speak with a manager about a transaction that was pending. She honestly was busy wrapping a Christmas box and could care less else and just act like she did not even care at all. I get to the register to purchase another drink. I tell the lady to please scan so that I can get my rewards and she said she couldn't because she already put in credit card but this is before I even swiped my card and last, but not least I get my drink the employee that was making my drink had the audacity to put her nasty hands on my ice and tap it down before she proceeds to put the lid on it.. the atmosphere was your employees talking among their selves after I told her to remake me another drink and for them all to look at me is absolutely the most unprofessional thing I've ever ever seen mind you I come to that Duncan at least 3 to 4 times a week to get drinks. Let's not talk about the sandwiches that I get from there. I have not posted about those because of the fact that they're hard as bricks, but I figured I would keep just buying drinks from there, but I think the lady tapping her hands on my eyes has done it for that location. read more

I hate being a Karen but today was my last time trying to give them a chance. I ordered a brownie batter latte with whipped cream and a hazelnut latte for my bf to pick up. He comes back with two completely unflavored lattes no whipped cream at all even though I was charged for it. I work in a coffee shop and I can tell you it doesn't take much effort to read an order for a chocolate coffee and know that if it's completely pale/white there's probably no chocolate syrup in it. It's not hard to double check the order before handing it out especially when the exact order is printed on the cup. This happens with my orders here constantly. If you ask for any adjustments on your drink you better believe they'll just make it how they want or if you ask for extra ice you get three melted ice cubes. Previously, my review was 4 stars but after a couple months, this location has really upped their game. I haven't gad a bad coffee here in months, besides ONE time and they fixed it immediately! I think it's a waste of time to review a chain restaurant but here goes... I understand there are times when places get busy but I feel management has a responsibility to adjust for this. Like Saturday morning when everyone wants donuts. We've been there 3 Saturdays in a row and the place is filthy: Every table top is covered, No napkins, bathroom's are messy, even when waiting for the bathroom I noticed that the floor beefing the cash register & coffee prep area was wet messy (how people weren't falling is a mystery to me). Last week my friend asked for a rag to clean our table- and she couldn't help herself, she wiped off all the other tables too. She said it was hard for her to enjoy her breakfast when it looked so terrible. They constantly look short staffed. If you know Saturday is a busy day, management she do a better job staffing the place to keep it running smoothly. read more

Placed order through mobile app. went to pick it up. Walked into lobby and all workers were standing around on their phones talking about this and that. Worker informed me that they were out of all food and most drinks. Couldn't give a refund because of ordering on app. Drive thru was backed up all the way to street. Everything we have gotten at the Richmond KY Dunkin has been very good, BUT, the wait is longer than ANY place we have ever been. The employees have a care-LESS attitude. You will wait 30-45 minutes minimum for your pastries (which are already made), then add another 20 minutes for a drink. If you order more than one drink, you WILL be given half of what you paid for, then you have to go through the process of bringing it to their attention & waiting again. We were waiting over an hour inside the store this morning for 2 coffees & 1 pastry. Since the previous review it has remarkably improved! ------old below------ While we like the donuts here and sometimes the breakfast sandwiches, the coffee drinks are really hit or miss. 3/5 of the last coffee drinks my husband has ordered have somehow had grounds filling the bottom like a layer of sand. I used to be a barrista, you would have to practically try to get grounds through an espresso machine and not be paying attention at all not to catch it. It's pretty disgusting and for how expensive the specialty drinks are, you would think it could be managed more often without grounds in it. read more

SUPER SLOW! If you want to wait an hour, join the drive thru line. It's insane how slow this place is at getting orders out. They also use the same spoon to stir EVERYTHING so if you order a hot chocolate, it's going to have a weird taste, especially if they mixed a mint drink If Dunkin' wasn't so good, I would never go here again but unfortunately this location is the only one close by. read more

I was really excited to see that Dunkin added a vegetarian breakfast item to their menu because it's hard to eat out as a vegetarian in Richmond. I ordered the beyond sausage numerous times but was quickly disheartened by a recent visit. After I received my food I opened the bag to find their regular sausage patty. Not a big deal, things get mixed up all the time in fast food right? I went in to kindly ask for my order to be fixed when I was told they were out of the beyond sausage. I do not believe this was a mistake but an intentional exchange for real meat because they were out of what I ordered. I would have appreciated honesty about being out of beyond and refunded my money instead of my food being swapped for something I can't eat. After this incident, because there are so few vegetarian places to eat here, I decided to give Dunkin a second chance, after a few times it happened again, the same incident of them being out of beyond and giving me a regular sausage patty. I decided since this was going to be a reoccurring thing I would stop coming to this location. read more

Do not eat at the Dunkin' Donuts in Richmond, KY. The entire staff were kids that acted like they were on slow moving medication and could care less. My wife ordered a drink and they said they ran out. It was supposed to be a smoothie and it was not. She ordered egg white on flat-out bread and after she ordered they told her they were out of the bread on the order. Then they just looked at her. So then Karen said, "OK?" because that's all the girl said to her and we had already paid for it. I glanced around the place because we were going to eat there, but everything was filthy. I looked over the counter and there were donuts all over the floor. I ordered Texas Toast with ham and egg and I am only left to wonder why Texan's don't toast their Texas Toast. It was not toasted but it was soggy. I guess you could call it Texas Swamp. The only thing that was good was the coffee. This food tasted like total mush. I will never return there. read more

I come here a lot to get a coffee and sometimes donuts but this morning I went and got my usual iced coffee with 2 donuts for my friend and me. They've been putting the slightly frosted donut on the bottom of the bag instead of the one thats not for some dumb reason but I didn't say anything because it wasn't that big of a deal, but this morning I got the cute little boston scream donut and, of course, it was at the bottom of the bag, face down. I love Dunkin, overall, as a chain. And I used to go here regularly. However, the last 4/5 orders Ive placed have been wrong. How in the world can they only be getting 20% of their orders correctly?? And before that, they were CONSTANTLY out of the flavors I wanted. Almost every time I went in for just a regular hot chocolate, and they were completely out. How in the world? It happened like 3 times in a row. My husband has been having issues, too. We go there enough so that we know what our coffee should taste like based on what we ask for, and every time we leave, it isn't what it is supposed to be regardless of the little markings they put on the outside of the cup. For instance... I asked for a Winter White Chocolate decaf coffee with 1 cream. I got a plain coffee. Caffeinated. 1 cream. On the cup, it has WWC and marked out for 1 cream. Even tho, on my receipt it clearly states Decaf. However, I'm missing the decaf, AND the WWC for that matter. It seems trivial. But I don't like regular coffee...I'm one of those people who needs flavored creamer in order to enjoy coffee. And a 1 time offense, isn't a big deal. BUT this is almost EVERY time I place an order now. I don' tlike drinking it as soon as I get it, because its hot, and I don't want to burn my mouth. I don't have time to sit around in Dunkin for 10 minutes before tasting my coffee and seeing if it's the correct order. read more

After being there many times since they have opened, I have only had one time where they messed up the order at the drive thru. I would say they are probably over 98% accurate when giving me the order (compared to many other fast food places in Richmond that are accurate only part of the time). Sandwiches are usually hot. Coffee is usually fresh tasting. Usually, as long as you go in the mornings, they have the donuts you want. I like going here. read more

I've been a customer of this location since they opened and visit regularly, multiple times per week often, ordering almost the same thing everyday. Not only is this location frequently out of inventory (cups, straws, bagels,espresso etc), but 75% of the time the order is wrong. Frequently their milk/creamer dispenser is filled incorrectly. Similarly so is their sweetener dispenser. At least I assume this is the case, otherwise it's simply lack of attention to detail or poor work ethic. Orders are VERY inconsistent! Because of the vast inconsistencies you have to be very specific with your order. Flavored iced lattes/coffees are either non-sweet or bitterly over sweetened- because of this I never order them. When you specify your latte milk and sweetener preferences they almost always give you the incorrect milk or sweetener. A toasted bagel with cream cheese will either have massive amounts of cream cheese or a slight amount on one side and be either non toasted or barely toasted. No matter how specific or general your order is they're almost guaranteed to get it wrong every single time. Even ordering the same thing every visit, they still can't consistently get it right. This was a great location when they first opened. I'm not sure what's happened over the past year but it's gone from 5 stars to 1 star. read more

I was at dunkin last Wednesday morning to get a box of joe and a dozen donuts. The drive through was very busy. There were several people inside enjoying their " treats ". I had the pleasure of having Casey wait on me. She was welcoming and polite. Answered my questions and got busy with my to go order. The counter area on cash register side was clean. A couple tables had straw papers and several napkins. The person or persons who were there obviously did not put their trash where it belonged. I went there to get a mocha latte iced and during the time that I had placed the order inside the restaurant I was talking to a guy behind me about issues of people who were taking handicap spots that were not handicap and so one of the guys over heard my conversation and thought I was talking about a customer in the store. He came up and confronted me at that time I told him that I wasn't talking about the customer that I was talking about people In general. He then grabbed my wrist and threatened to hit me and none of the managers came out to stop him. This happened in front of kids and adults and should have never happened I talked to the owner and his attitude about the whole situation was like he didn't care about the customers safety. Stopped at this location 3 times in the past 3 weeks. I have been in a donut mood lately. I usually dont eat sweets at all and when I do I prefer something other than donuts and if I happen to want a donut I much rather have a Krispy Kreme donut instead. So far all 3 times I have went to this dunkin donuts I have went through the drive through and ordered a glaze donut and a ice coffee. The response to the glaze donut all 3 times is... "sorry we are out of that one for the day". Then I try to get a old fashion one "we are out of that one for the day also". This happend all 3 times I have went. So if you want a classic glazed donut (what any place that sale any kind of donuts should automatically have as I feel like that's the default donut.) Then do not go here as I'm sure they will tell you "sorry we are out of that for the day" I should also note that I went at different times. The first time was around 11:45am. The next week was around 3:30pm. The final and last time I went was today around 6:00pm. That being said they do have good Coffee. Hopefully they dont "run out of that for the day". read more

I've been going to this location regularly for the past several years and the product has consistently gotten worse. There is possibly 1 trip out of my 10 that my coffee actually tastes the way I ordered it. The issues range from watered down, yet still warm, iced coffee, inconsistent amounts of flavoring added, and the times I have actually gotten 5 creams and 3 sugars are very few. Just yesterday I purchased a coffee and it had so much creamer in it I could not only not taste the caramel flavoring but I could not taste any coffee. I have gone in and spoke with employees about this issue and I was told that it is an lack of training mixed with employees getting stressed while busy and simply not taking the time to pay attention to the amount of extras they are adding to the coffee or if there is even any sugar coming out the dispenser. I called into corporate office over theses issues months ago, received a email from the owner saying that it would be addressed, but obviously this is not the case because it is still a issue for multiple people six months later. When the products are made correctly dunkin offers my favorite coffee. Just to many misses and not enough hits. read more
